  • Avery Hayes RW | PIT

Penguins' Avery Hayes: Called up from minors

Hayes was brought up from AHL Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on Monday.

Hayes has failed to register a point in his last 10 NHL games while chipping in 13 shots, 12 PIM and 11 hits. The decision to bring Hayes up from the minors would seem to indicate that Sidney Crosby (lower body) or Evgeni Malkin (upper body) won't be ready to face the Islanders on Monday.

  • Ducks' Nathan Gaucher: Back in NHL

Gaucher was summoned from AHL San Diego on Sunday.

Gaucher hasn't played for the Ducks yet this season, but he will be an option to make his NHL debut in Monday's matchup against Toronto. He has 12 goals and 26 points in 57 AHL appearances this season.

  • Blue Jackets' Mason Marchment: Two points against Bruins

Marchment scored an even-strength goal and added a power-play assist in Sunday's 4-3 shootout loss to Boston.

All of Columbus' scoring came in the first period as the home team built a 3-0 lead that slipped away in the third. Marchment has been running hot and cold to close out his namesake month, with two multi-point performances producing his only offense in the last seven games. Through 16 total contests in March, the veteran winger has four goals and nine points.

  • Blue Jackets' Kirill Marchenko: Two helpers in shootout loss

Marchenko notched two assists, including one on the power play, in Sunday's 4-3 shootout loss to the Bruins.

All of Columbus' scoring came in the first period as the home team built a 3-0 lead that slipped away in the third. It was Marchenko's first multi-point performance in 12 games, as his namesake month hasn't been kind to him. Over those last 12 contests, Marchenko has three goals and seven points, and he hasn't found the back of the net in eight straight -- tying his longest drought of the season.

  • Jet Greaves G | CLB

Blue Jackets' Jet Greaves: Tough shootout loss Sunday

Greaves turned aside 35 of 38 shots in regulation and overtime and one of three shootout attempts in Sunday's 4-3 loss to the Bruins.

The 25-year-old netminder took a shutout into the third period as Columbus seemed to have the game well in hand with a 3-0 lead, but Boston stormed back to force OT with a rally that included two Pavel Zacha power-play tallies -- the second of which came with just 11 seconds left on the clock. Greaves has taken over the top spot in the Blue Jackets' crease as the team pushes for the playoffs, starting seven of the last nine games and not allowing more than three goals in any of them. Over that stretch, Greaves has produced a 4-2-1 record with a dazzling 1.83 GAA and .927 save percentage.

  • Bruins' Charlie McAvoy: Two points in Sunday's win

McAvoy scored an even-strength goal and added a power-play assist in Sunday's 4-3 shootout win over the Blue Jackets.

The Bruins did all their scoring in the third period as they erased a 3-0 deficit, and McAvoy got the comeback started when he snapped a shot from the blue line through traffic to beat Jet Greaves. The 28-year-old defenseman has established a new career high with 57 points (11 goals, 46 assists) on the season thanks to a blistering March that has seen him pile up six goals and 16 points in 15 games.

  • Pavel Zacha C | BOS

Bruins' Pavel Zacha: Lights lamp twice on power play

Zacha scored two power-play goals and added an even-strength assist in Sunday's 4-3 shootout win over Columbus.

The Bruins did all their scoring in the third period to erase a 3-0 deficit, with Zacha's second goal coming with just 11 seconds left in regulation. The 28-year-old center has reeled off three straight multi-point performances and seven over 15 contests in March contests, erupting for 13 goals and 21 points on the month. Zacha is two snipes away from his first career 30-goal campaign and one point shy of reaching 60 for the first time, with eight games left on the schedule for Boston. He's already set new career highs with 10 goals and 21 points on the power play.

  • Bruins' Viktor Arvidsson: Stars in comeback win

Arvidsson recorded three assists, including two on the power play, and scored the shootout winner in Sunday's 4-3 victory over the Blue Jackets.

With the Bruins down 3-0 in the third period, Arvidsson got to work, helping to set up a Charlie McAvoy tally before having a hand in a pair of Pavel Zacha strikes -- the second of which came with just 11 seconds left on the clock to force overtime. Arvidsson then secured the extra point for Boston with a slick double move on Jet Greaves in the third round of the shootout. The veteran winger has erupted for two goals and six points in the last three games, and he's up to 21 goals and 47 points through 62 contests on the season as he creeps closer to his fourth career 50-point campaign.

  • Bruins' Jeremy Swayman: Hangs on for shootout win

Swayman turned aside 21 of 24 shots in regulation and overtime and two of three shootout attempts in Sunday's 4-3 win over the Blue Jackets.

Getting a rare back-to-back start as the Bruins try to lock down a playoff spot, Swayman found himself staring at a 3-0 deficit heading into the first intermission. He kept his cool and shut down the Columbus offense the rest of the way, giving his teammates a chance to rally. Swayman has just one regulation loss in his last seven starts, going 5-1-1 over that stretch with a sharp 2.36 GAA and a .922 save percentage. Boston is now six points clear of Ottawa and Detroit for a wild-card spot with eight games left on its schedule.

  • Adam Fox D | NYR

Rangers' Adam Fox: Two-point effort Sunday

Fox produced a goal and an assist in Sunday's 3-1 win over the Panthers.

All the game's scoring came in the third period. Fox sparked the Rangers' offense by setting up Adam Sykora for the opening tally before the star blueliner flipped home an empty-netter that traveled the entire length of the ice. Fox has gotten onto the scoresheet in 10 of the last 12 games, racking up two goals and 13 points over that stretch as he finishes a disappointing season on a high note.
