Avery Hayes RW | PIT
Penguins' Avery Hayes: Called up from minors
Hayes was brought up from AHL Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on Monday.
Hayes has failed to register a point in his last 10 NHL games while chipping in 13 shots, 12 PIM and 11 hits. The decision to bring Hayes up from the minors would seem to indicate that Sidney Crosby (lower body) or Evgeni Malkin (upper body) won't be ready to face the Islanders on Monday.

Kirill Marchenko RW | CLB
Blue Jackets' Kirill Marchenko: Two helpers in shootout loss
Marchenko notched two assists, including one on the power play, in Sunday's 4-3 shootout loss to the Bruins.
All of Columbus' scoring came in the first period as the home team built a 3-0 lead that slipped away in the third. It was Marchenko's first multi-point performance in 12 games, as his namesake month hasn't been kind to him. Over those last 12 contests, Marchenko has three goals and seven points, and he hasn't found the back of the net in eight straight -- tying his longest drought of the season.

Jet Greaves G | CLB
Blue Jackets' Jet Greaves: Tough shootout loss Sunday
Greaves turned aside 35 of 38 shots in regulation and overtime and one of three shootout attempts in Sunday's 4-3 loss to the Bruins.
The 25-year-old netminder took a shutout into the third period as Columbus seemed to have the game well in hand with a 3-0 lead, but Boston stormed back to force OT with a rally that included two Pavel Zacha power-play tallies -- the second of which came with just 11 seconds left on the clock. Greaves has taken over the top spot in the Blue Jackets' crease as the team pushes for the playoffs, starting seven of the last nine games and not allowing more than three goals in any of them. Over that stretch, Greaves has produced a 4-2-1 record with a dazzling 1.83 GAA and .927 save percentage.

Arvidsson then secured the extra point for Boston with a slick double move on Jet Greaves in the third round of the shootout. The veteran winger has erupted for two goals and six points in the last three games, and he's up to 21 goals and 47 points through 62 contests on the season as he creeps closer to his fourth career 50-point campaign.

He kept his cool and shut down the Columbus offense the rest of the way, giving his teammates a chance to rally. Swayman has just one regulation loss in his last seven starts, going 5-1-1 over that stretch with a sharp 2.36 GAA and a .922 save percentage. Boston is now six points clear of Ottawa and Detroit for a wild-card spot with eight games left on its schedule.

Adam Fox D | NYR
Rangers' Adam Fox: Two-point effort Sunday
Fox produced a goal and an assist in Sunday's 3-1 win over the Panthers.
All the game's scoring came in the third period. Fox sparked the Rangers' offense by setting up Adam Sykora for the opening tally before the star blueliner flipped home an empty-netter that traveled the entire length of the ice. Fox has gotten onto the scoresheet in 10 of the last 12 games, racking up two goals and 13 points over that stretch as he finishes a disappointing season on a high note.
