Nikita Kucherov RW | TB
Lightning's Nikita Kucherov: Another huge game in win
Kucherov scored twice on seven shots, dished two assists, added two PIM and went plus-3 in Saturday's 5-2 win over the Oilers.
There aren't many things Kucherov has left to do in his career, but he achieved one of them with his first-ever shorthanded goal and point when he scored at 16:58 of the second period. He was on the ice on the penalty kill after the expiration of his own tripping penalty. That tally also stood as his seventh game-winner of the campaign. Kucherov is on a heater on the road with at least three points in five straight contests away from Benchmark International Arena. The superstar winger has reached the 40-goal mark for the fourth time in his career, putting his career high of 44 tallies from the 2023-24 regular season in the crosshairs. He's at 118 points (34 on the power play), 198 shots on net, 44 PIM and a plus-44 rating through 64 outings this campaign.

Andrei Vasilevskiy G | TB
Lightning's Andrei Vasilevskiy: Defeats Oilers
Vasilevskiy stopped 25 of 27 shots in Saturday's 5-2 win over the Oilers.
Vasilevskiy gave up a goal to Connor McDavid late in the first period, but the Lightning bounced back with a three-goal middle frame. Vasilevskiy had no trouble making that lead stand, winning his third straight game and fourth in his last five outings. He's up to 33-12-3 with a 2.29 GAA and a .913 save percentage over 48 appearances this season. Jonas Johansson will likely get the nod for Sunday's game in Calgary, but expect Vasilevskiy to be between the pipes Tuesday at home versus the Wild.

Travis Hamonic D | DET
Red Wings' Travis Hamonic: No games since Olympic break
Hamonic was scratched for the 12th game in a row in Saturday's 4-2 loss to the Bruins.
Hamonic hasn't played since Feb. 4 in Utah. The Red Wings have a rare glut of right-shot blueliners, and it's most often been Hamonic and Axel Sandin-Pellikka who are stuck out of the lineup. The 35-year-old Hamonic has just two assists with a minus-10 rating, 27 hits, 41 blocked shots and 29 PIM over 25 appearances this season. With the Red Wings in a playoff race, they may be more inclined to turn to a veteran like Hamonic if they need to make a change on the blue line down the stretch, but he's unlikely to play his way into the fantasy picture.

Alex DeBrincat RW | DET
Red Wings' Alex DeBrincat: Point streak up to six games
DeBrincat scored a goal on seven shots in Saturday's 4-2 loss to the Bruins.
DeBrincat has two goals and eight assists during his six-game point streak. The 28-year-old winger is up to 35 goals, 73 points, 245 shots on net and a plus-7 rating over 70 appearances. He's reached the 35-goal and 70-point marks three other times in his career, and he's in position to challenge for his first 80-point campaign.

Lucas Raymond LW | DET
Red Wings' Lucas Raymond: Strikes on power play
Raymond scored a power-play goal on four shots and went minus-3 in Saturday's 4-2 loss to the Bruins.
Raymond's goal opened the scoring at 3:35 of the second period, but David Pastrnak responded for the Bruins just 1:32 later. It's been a bit of a quiet month for Raymond, who has three goals and three assists over 10 contests in March. Most of that stretch has been sans Dylan Larkin (leg), who is nearing a return that should boost the Detroit offense. Raymond is now at 22 goals, 68 points (24 on the power play), 148 shots on net and a plus-10 rating across 68 appearances this season.

John Gibson G | DET
Red Wings' John Gibson: Takes loss versus Bruins
Gibson allowed three goals on 26 shots in Saturday's 4-2 loss to the Bruins. The fourth goal was an empty-netter.
Gibson had won his last two starts. He's now 1-4-0 with 13 goals allowed over his last five games versus Atlantic Division rivals. The 32-year-old dropped to 26-16-3 on the year with a 2.54 GAA and a .907 save percentage across 47 appearances. The Red Wings' next game is Tuesday versus the Senators, and Gibson can be expected to get the nod again for that one, as head coach Todd McLellan has been relying on the netminder significantly since the Olympic break.

Charlie McAvoy D | BOS
Bruins' Charlie McAvoy: Provides two helpers in win
McAvoy notched two assists, including one on the power play, and levied six hits in Saturday's 4-2 win over the Red Wings.
McAvoy has four goals and eight helpers over 11 contests in March after putting together his third multi-point effort of the month. The 28-year-old defenseman is up to nine goals, 53 points, 95 shots on net, 68 hits, 104 blocked shots, 52 PIM and a plus-8 rating over 58 appearances. He's just three points shy of his career-high 56 from the 2021-22 campaign -- McAvoy has a real chance at 60 points for the first time if he can stay healthy and productive down the stretch.

Morgan Geekie C | BOS
Bruins' Morgan Geekie: Trio of assists in win
Geekie logged three assists, including one on the power play, and went plus-2 in Saturday's 4-2 win over the Red Wings.
Geekie's goal drought is up to nine games, but he has earned four helpers over his last two outings. The 27-year-old's regression comes at a rough time for fantasy managers, though he can still chip in with shots and hits even when the puck luck isn't on his side. The forward has 34 goals and 27 helpers for 61 points, all of which are career highs. He's added 158 shots on net, 98 hits, 27 blocked shots and 18 PIM over 69 contests this season.

Nikita Zadorov D | BOS
Bruins' Nikita Zadorov: Tallies game-winner Saturday
Zadorov scored a goal, went plus-2, added two hits and blocked four shots in Saturday's 4-2 win over the Red Wings.
Zadorov ended his nine-game point drought at 9:42 of the third period, and his goal stood as the game-winner. The 30-year-old defenseman is in the lineup for his physical work, but he can still chip in decent offense at times. He's at two goals, 19 points, 89 shots on net, 93 blocked shots, 134 PIM, 165 hits and a plus-19 rating over 69 appearances this season while averaging a career-best 21:05 of ice time.

Marat Khusnutdinov C | BOS
Bruins' Marat Khusnutdinov: Fills empty cage
Khusnutdinov scored an empty-net goal on two shots and went plus-2 in Saturday's 4-2 win over the Red Wings.
Khusnutdinov had gone nine games without a goal, adding just two assists in that span. He put the finishing touch on this win with his empty-netter. While he's been in a top-line role at even strength lately, his lack of production could see him get bumped back down the lineup eventually. He's contributed 30 points (14 goals, 16 assists), 72 shots on net, 37 hits, 33 blocked shots and a plus-14 rating across 65 appearances this season.
