  • Bruins' Charlie McAvoy: Provides two helpers in win

McAvoy notched two assists, including one on the power play, and levied six hits in Saturday's 4-2 win over the Red Wings.

McAvoy has four goals and eight helpers over 11 contests in March after putting together his third multi-point effort of the month. The 28-year-old defenseman is up to nine goals, 53 points, 95 shots on net, 68 hits, 104 blocked shots, 52 PIM and a plus-8 rating over 58 appearances. He's just three points shy of his career-high 56 from the 2021-22 campaign -- McAvoy has a real chance at 60 points for the first time if he can stay healthy and productive down the stretch.

  • Bruins' Morgan Geekie: Trio of assists in win

Geekie logged three assists, including one on the power play, and went plus-2 in Saturday's 4-2 win over the Red Wings.

Geekie's goal drought is up to nine games, but he has earned four helpers over his last two outings. The 27-year-old's regression comes at a rough time for fantasy managers, though he can still chip in with shots and hits even when the puck luck isn't on his side. The forward has 34 goals and 27 helpers for 61 points, all of which are career highs. He's added 158 shots on net, 98 hits, 27 blocked shots and 18 PIM over 69 contests this season.

  • Bruins' Nikita Zadorov: Tallies game-winner Saturday

Zadorov scored a goal, went plus-2, added two hits and blocked four shots in Saturday's 4-2 win over the Red Wings.

Zadorov ended his nine-game point drought at 9:42 of the third period, and his goal stood as the game-winner. The 30-year-old defenseman is in the lineup for his physical work, but he can still chip in decent offense at times. He's at two goals, 19 points, 89 shots on net, 93 blocked shots, 134 PIM, 165 hits and a plus-19 rating over 69 appearances this season while averaging a career-best 21:05 of ice time.

  • Bruins' Marat Khusnutdinov: Fills empty cage

Khusnutdinov scored an empty-net goal on two shots and went plus-2 in Saturday's 4-2 win over the Red Wings.

Khusnutdinov had gone nine games without a goal, adding just two assists in that span. He put the finishing touch on this win with his empty-netter. While he's been in a top-line role at even strength lately, his lack of production could see him get bumped back down the lineup eventually. He's contributed 30 points (14 goals, 16 assists), 72 shots on net, 37 hits, 33 blocked shots and a plus-14 rating across 65 appearances this season.

  • Bruins' Elias Lindholm: Goal, assist in win

Lindholm scored a goal on four shots, added an assist and went plus-2 in Saturday's 4-2 win over the Red Wings.

Lindholm snapped a seven-game slump with his first multi-point effort since Jan. 26 versus the Rangers. The 31-year-old center has found himself on the third line recently, though he gets enough usage in all situations to remain a top-six forward by ice time. Lindholm is up to 13 goals, 42 points, 94 shots on net, 50 blocked shots, 34 PIM and 33 hits over 57 appearances this season. He's missed the 50-point mark in each of the last two years but could get there if he heats up in the last few weeks of the campaign.

  • David Pastrnak RW | BOS

Bruins' David Pastrnak: Earns two more points in win

Pastrnak scored a power-play goal on two shots, added an assist and went plus-2 in Saturday's 4-2 win over the Red Wings.

Pastrnak is now on a nine-game point streak, and five of those contests have been multi-point efforts. He's earned six goals and eight helpers during the streak. The 29-year-old winger continues to play at an elite level with 28 goals, 86 points, 227 shots on net, 76 hits, 60 PIM and a plus-1 rating over 65 appearances this season. He's not a lock for the 100-point mark, but his recent surge has given him a chance to get there.

  • Bruins' Jeremy Swayman: Excellent showing in win

Swayman allowed two goals on 43 shots in Saturday's 4-2 win over the Red Wings.

Swayman faced some heavy traffic, but he got the job done with a big performance for his sixth win over eight outings in March. He's limited opponents to two goals or less in each of those victories. Swayman is up to 28-14-4 with a 2.71 GAA and a .907 save percentage over 47 appearances this season, putting him well on the way to his first 30-win campaign. The Bruins' next game is at home Tuesday versus the Maple Leafs, followed by a road game in Buffalo on Wednesday. It's the first of two back-to-back sets over the next week for Boston.

  • Emil Heineman LW | NYI

Islanders' Emil Heineman: Hits 20-goal mark

Heineman scored a power-play goal on three shots and added three hits in Saturday's 7-3 loss to the Canadiens.

Heineman has five goals over his last eight contests. This was his first power-play point since Dec. 20 versus the Sabres, though he has remained on the second unit for a majority of that stretch. The 24-year-old winger is up to 20 goals, 28 points, 158 shots on net, 223 hits, 42 blocked shots and a minus-8 rating over 70 appearances. He's building momentum again after a tough stretch in January and February.

  • Islanders' Simon Holmstrom: Buries goal Saturday

Holmstrom scored a goal in Saturday's 7-3 loss to the Canadiens.

Holmstrom has three goals and an assist over his last four games. The 24-year-old is playing in a middle-six role, though he gets ice time in all situations, which can help him remain productive. The winger is up to 17 goals, 37 points, 85 shots on net, 41 blocked shots and a plus-13 rating through 68 appearances on the year.

  • Islanders' Matthew Schaefer: Keeps marching toward history

Schaefer scored a power-play goal on three shots, blocked two shots and went minus-2 in Saturday's 7-3 loss to the Canadiens.

Schaefer is now one goal away from tying Brian Leetch's record of 23 for the most goals by a rookie defenseman. The 18-year-old Schaefer briefly tied this contest at 3-3 in the third period before the Canadiens took over. The Olympic break appears to have refreshed the phenom, who has six goals and six helpers over 12 contests since the NHL schedule resumed. He's at 22 goals, 51 points, 176 shots on net, 96 blocked shots and a plus-14 rating over 70 appearances. Schaefer's 22 goals put him just one behind Jakob Chychrun for the lead in goals among NHL blueliners this season.
