  • Canucks' Elias Pettersson: Manages pair of helpers

Pettersson recorded two assists, including one on the power play, and fired three shots on net in Saturday's 7-3 loss to the Flames.

Pettersson has earned five assists over his last four contests, with four of them coming on the power play. The 27-year-old has four multi-point efforts in March. While he's hardly had the production worthy of the role, Pettersson remains the top-line center for lack of better options in Vancouver. He's at 15 goals, 45 points (18 on the power play), 113 shots on net, 56 hits, 99 blocked shots and a minus-23 rating over 64 appearances. That's an exact replication of his scoring line from 64 contests a year ago, which is discouraging that he wasn't able to shake off a down season.

  • Nils Hoglander LW | VAN

Canucks' Nils Hoglander: Puts away goal in loss

Hoglander scored a goal in Saturday's 7-3 loss to the Flames.

The tally snapped a seven-game point drought for the winger, who was scratched three times in that span. Even when Hoglander plays, he's been in a fourth-line role lately. He's now at two goals, four points, 27 shots on net, 40 hits and a minus-2 rating over 30 appearances this season. On a low-scoring team, Hoglander is a non-factor in virtually all fantasy formats.

  • Liam Ohgren LW | VAN

Canucks' Liam Ohgren: Pots goal in loss

Ohgren scored a goal on four shots in Saturday's 7-3 loss to the Flames.

Ohgren has two goals and two assists over his last eight games. He was bumped up to the first line Saturday and saw 17:51 of ice time, his most since March 7 versus the Jets. Ohgren is up to eight goals, 15 points, 82 shots on net, 61 hits and a minus-9 rating over 59 appearances between the Canucks and the Wild this season. If Ohgren stays on the top line, he'll be a moderately intriguing option for deeper fantasy formats to close out the campaign.

  • Jake DeBrusk LW | VAN

Canucks' Jake DeBrusk: Buries power-play goal in loss

DeBrusk scored a power-play goal on three shots and went minus-2 in Saturday's 7-3 loss to the Flames.

DeBrusk has scored twice over the last three games, with both goals coming on the power play. Consistency has been the biggest problem for the 29-year-old this season, as he's been prone to struggling alongside many of his teammates. The winger has 16 goals, 34 points (18 on the power play), 185 shots on net, 60 hits and a minus-28 rating through 71 appearances, and he continues to see bottom-six minutes at even strength in addition to his power-play role.

  • Canucks' Kevin Lankinen: Struggles in relief outing

Lankinen gave up three goals on 12 shots in relief of Nikita Tolopilo in Saturday's 7-3 loss to the Flames.

Lankinen got some rest for a period, but Tolopilo was pulled after giving up the fourth goal. Lankinen has allowed 18 goals on 133 shots (.865 save percentage) during a winless stretch of five appearances. That's somehow worse than his overall numbers, which are at a 3.65 GAA and an .876 save percentage in 42 outings this season, to go with an 8-25-5 record. The Canucks may opt to keep Lankinen heavily in the starting role down the stretch to avoid wrecking Tolopilo's confidence. Avoid the Vancouver crease at all costs, especially with road matchups in Vegas, Colorado and Minnesota next on the slate for the Canucks.

  • Canucks' Nikita Tolopilo: Poor showing in rare start

Tolopilo stopped seven of 11 shots in Saturday's 7-3 loss to the Flames.

Tolopilo got the start but was pulled 4:36 into the second period after Olli Maatta scored to put the Flames ahead 4-1. The Canucks weren't able to bail out Tolopilo, who ended up with the loss in his first game action in two weeks. He's now at 5-7-2 with a 3.53 GAA and an .886 save percentage over 16 appearances this season. Kevin Lankinen hasn't played that well either, and he gave up three goals on 12 shots in relief Saturday. Bottom line, the Canucks' goaltending is a unit to avoid at all costs in fantasy, especially with a gauntlet of a three-game road trip coming up. That trip kicks off Monday in Vegas.

  • Flames' Brennan Othmann: Logs helper in team debut

Othmann recorded an assist and two hits in Saturday's 7-3 win over the Canucks.

This was Othmann's debut with the Flames after he was traded from the Rangers for prospect forward Jacob Battaglia on March 6. The 23-year-old Othmann needed a change of scenery after posting just three points over 42 career NHL appearances over parts of three seasons with the Rangers. It's unclear if he'll remain in the NHL for the rest of the regular season, and he'll likely be limited to bottom-six minutes if he stays in the lineup.

  • Flames' Hunter Brzustewicz: Collects pair of helpers

Brzustewicz registered two assists, including one on the power play, and added two hits and a plus-2 rating in Saturday's 7-3 win over the Canucks.

Brzustewicz has three assists over the last four contests. He's played in seven straight games and should have a clear path to stay into the lineup since Joel Hanley (upper body) is set to miss the rest of the season and Yan Kuznetsov (upper body) is still battling his injury. Brzustewicz has collected five points, 26 shots on net, 14 blocked shots, 14 hits, six PIM and a plus-1 rating over 26 appearances as a rookie this season.

  • Adam Klapka RW | CGY

Flames' Adam Klapka: Nets late power-play goal

Klapka scored a power-play goal on three shots and added five PIM in Saturday's 7-3 win over the Canucks.

Klapka's goal came at 19:52 of the third period to give the Flames some extra insurance. The 25-year-old doesn't regularly get power-play time, so this is unlikely to lead to a significant boost in offense over the remainder of the season. It was his first goal since Jan. 17 versus the Islanders. The hulking winger has six goals, 16 points, 71 shots on net, 267 hits, 106 PIM, 46 blocked shots and a minus-10 rating over 71 appearances this season.

  • Joel Farabee LW | CGY

Flames' Joel Farabee: Tickles twine in win

Farabee scored a goal on two shots in Saturday's 7-3 win over the Canucks.

Farabee has earned three points and six shots on net over his last five games. The 26-year-old winger is seeing top-six usage, though that hasn't come with power-play time recently, which limits his scoring potential. Farabee is up to 17 goals, 33 points, 123 shots on net, 48 hits, 46 blocked shots and a minus-10 rating through 73 appearances this season.
