Bobby Brink RW | PHI
Flyers' Bobby Brink: Scores again in Tuesday's win
Brink scored a goal on two shots and added two hits in Tuesday's 4-1 win over the Canadiens.
Brink has three goals and two assists over his last seven outings. The winger had a poor November but has found much consistency in December while remaining in a third-line role. He's up to nine goals, 15 points, 61 shots on net, 39 hits and a minus-3 rating over 32 appearances, and he's still playing around the pace necessary to at least match last year's 41-point output.

Barrett Hayton C | UTA
Mammoth's Barrett Hayton: Gets back in goal column
Hayton scored a power-play goal in Tuesday's 4-1 loss to the Bruins.
Hayton's tally opened the scoring at 8:34 of the first period, but it was all the Mammoth could muster against Jeremy Swayman. The 25-year-old has two points over his last two games after going six contests without one and getting scratched twice in that span. The center has struggled this year despite regularly seeing top-six minutes, earning seven points, 50 shots on net, 20 PIM, 11 blocked shots and a minus-3 rating over 30 appearances.

Nikita Zadorov D | BOS
Bruins' Nikita Zadorov: Snags helper Tuesday
Zadorov posted an assist, four hits, five blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Tuesday's 4-1 win over the Mammoth.
Zadorov has been chipping in regularly in December, earning four assists over his first seven games of the month. He's added 10 hits, 19 blocks, 18 PIM and a plus-10 rating in that span. The Bruins are missing four blueliners to injuries, but most of them would fill depth roles rather than challenging Zadorov for a top-four spot. On the year, Zadorov has 12 points, 40 shots on net, 95 hits, 55 blocked shots, 66 PIM and a plus-12 rating, putting him on a career-best scoring pace with ample contributions everywhere except the power play.

Mikey Eyssimont C | BOS
Bruins' Michael Eyssimont: Tallies late in win
Eyssimont scored a goal on two shots and added two PIM in Tuesday's 4-1 win over the Mammoth.
Eyssimont had the last goal of the game. The 29-year-old has a goal and an assist over his last two outings following a pair of healthy scratches last week. He'll need to stay sharp on offense to avoid losing his place once Viktor Arvidsson (lower body) returns. For the year, Eyssimont has 14 points, 71 shots on net, 23 hits, 19 PIM and a minus-6 rating over 32 outings. He put up 16 points in 77 regular-season games between the Kraken and the Lightning last year, and he's in position to challenge his career high of 25 points from the 2023-24 campaign.

Casey Mittelstadt C | BOS
Bruins' Casey Mittelstadt: Finds twine in win
Mittelstadt scored a goal in Tuesday's 4-1 win over the Mammoth.
Mittelstadt has three goals over his last five games, though he's taken just four shots in that span. The 27-year-old's lack of physical play means his offense needs to be the driving factor in getting him on fantasy rosters, and that will be tough to do without more shots. Overall, he's earned eight goals, 14 points, 25 shots and a minus-1 rating through 24 appearances.

Michael Kesselring D | BUF
Sabres' Michael Kesselring: Slated to return Thursday
Kesselring (lower body) is expected to be activated off injured reserve and play Thursday versus Philadelphia, per Paul Hamilton of WGR Sports Radio 550.
Kesselring hasn't been in the lineup since Nov. 15 due to the injury. He has no points, two PIM, seven hits and nine blocks in nine appearances this season. Kesselring is projected to serve on the third pairing in his return. Jacob Bryson might be a healthy scratch as a result.

Jason Zucker LW | BUF
Sabres' Jason Zucker: Targeting post-Christmas return
Zucker (lower body) might be back following the Christmas break, according to head coach Lindy Ruff, Paul Hamilton of WGR Sports Radio 550 reports Wednesday.
Zucker has been sidelined for the Sabres' last three games and is poised to miss at least four more, given his current timeline. Prior to his most recent absence, the veteran winger generated five goals and six assists in his last nine outings, including five power-play points. Once cleared to return, Zucker should fill a top-six role in addition to seeing minutes with the No. 1 power-play unit, though he'll need to be activated off injured reserve first.

Peyton Krebs C | BUF
Sabres' Peyton Krebs: Dealing with illness
Head coach Lindy Ruff said Wednesday that Krebs is dealing with an illness, Paul Hamilton of WGR Sports Radio 550 reports.
Krebs was absent from Wednesday's practice session due to his illness, and it's not yet clear whether he'll be able to suit up for Thursday's home game against the Flyers. The 24-year-old hasn't yet missed a game this year, and he's recorded nine assists, 76 hits, 40 PIM and 19 blocked shots while averaging 13:45 of ice time over 32 appearances. If he's unable to suit up against Philadelphia, Tyson Kozak could enter the lineup.

Brandon Hagel LW | TB
Lightning's Brandon Hagel: Considered day-to-day
Assistant coach Rob Zettler said Wednesday that Hagel is considered day-to-day due to an upper-body injury, Benjamin Pierce of the Lightning's official site reports.
Hagel exited Monday's loss to the Panthers in the third period, and head coach Jon Cooper didn't provide an update on the 27-year-old's status after the game. Hagel's injury doesn't seem to be particularly serious, but the Lightning will see how he feels ahead of Thursday's game against the Kings before determining his status. If Hagel is unable to suit up against Los Angeles, Dominic James will be a candidate to enter the lineup.

Connor Hellebuyck G | WPG
Jets' Connor Hellebuyck: Set to face St. Louis
Hellebuyck is expected to start on the road against St. Louis on Wednesday, per Mike McIntyre of the Winnipeg Free Press.
Hellebuyck has a 9-6-1 record, 2.44 GAA and .915 save percentage in 16 appearances this season. He's 1-0-1 and has stopped 52 of 56 shots (.929 save percentage) in two outings since returning from a knee injury Saturday. St. Louis ranks 29th in the league in goals per game with 2.53.
