Alex Newhook C | MON
Canadiens' Alex Newhook: Scores, assists in win
Newhook scored a goal and added an assist in Saturday's 4-1 win over the Predators.
Newhook tallied his 11th goal of the season with a wrister at the 16:23 mark of the second frame, giving the Habs a commanding 4-0 lead. Newhook also made his presence felt in the early stages of the second period after assisting Oliver Kapanen's goal. Newhook not only snapped a two-game pointless skid with this outing, but it was also his first multi-point game of the season since March 3, when he scored twice in a 7-5 loss to the Sharks. On the season, Newhook, who missed 40 games between Nov. 15 and Feb. 26 due to an ankle injury, has 22 points (11 goals, 11 assists) in 32 regular-season contests.

Jacob Fowler G | MON
Canadiens' Jacob Fowler: Makes 23 saves in win
Fowler stopped 23 of 24 shots in Saturday's 4-1 win over the Predators.
Fowler was on his way to a shutout until he allowed a goal from Zachary L'Heureux, who found the back of the net just for the second time in 2025-26, at the 16:26 mark of the final frame. Still, this was another strong showing for Fowler, who has won three of his last four NHL outings despite being just 21 years old. Furthermore, he's allowed just six goals on 80 shots during those three wins. As good as he's looked of late, Fowler remains a matchup-based play since Jakub Dobes is the clear No. 1 option between the posts for Montreal.

Matthew Poitras C | BOS
Bruins' Matthew Poitras: Notches three helpers in AHL win
Poitras recorded three assists in AHL Providence's 6-4 win over Bridgeport on Saturday.
Poitras has a career-high 44 points in 60 outings after this effort. He has two goals and eight assists during his seven-game point streak as he continues to be a big producer for Providence. He'll likely get the chance to keep rolling into the AHL postseason in the coming weeks, which could help him prepare to push for an NHL job in 2026-27.

Riley Tufte LW | BOS
Bruins' Riley Tufte: Posts four points Saturday
Tufte scored three goals and added an assist in AHL Providence's 6-4 win over Bridgeport on Saturday.
Tufte crossed the 30-goal and 50-point marks in this contest. He's at 31 goals, 22 assists and a plus-28 rating over 56 appearances. He has six goals and two helpers over his last four outings as he looks to put together a strong performance late in the campaign.

Boris Katchouk LW | PHI
Flyers' Boris Katchouk: Big game for Phantoms
Katchouk scored three goals and added an assist in AHL Lehigh Valley's 4-2 win over Hershey on Saturday.
Katchouk has played for three organizations this season, but he's found his most success with Lehigh Valley. He's earned nine points in 10 games for the Phantoms since he was flipped from the Wild organization. Overall, the veteran winger has 22 points over 40 AHL appearances this season.

Topias Vilen D | NJ
Devils' Topias Vilen: Earns three assists in win
Vilen notched three assists in AHL Utica's 5-3 win over Cleveland on Saturday.
Vilen's production has been steady compared to last year -- he has 24 points in 57 games this season, the same total he logged in more games in the 2024-25 regular season. He has gone nine contests without a goal, but he's earned six helpers in that span. The Devils' blue line is still a strength at the NHL level, giving Vilen plenty of time to continue his development with Utica.

Ryan Schmelzer C | NJ
Devils' Ryan Schmelzer: Logs three points Saturday
Schmelzer scored a goal and added two assists in AHL Utica's 5-3 win over Cleveland on Saturday.
Schmelzer, the Comets' captain, hasn't done much on offense this season. He has been held to 22 points (three goals, 19 assists) over 57 appearances this season after logging 44 points in 72 regular-season games last year. At this point in his career, the 32-year-old Schmelzer is just an AHL veteran and is unlikely to see much time, if any, at the NHL level.

Thomas Milic G | WPG
Jets' Thomas Milic: Sharp in shutout for Manitoba
Milic posted a 32-save shutout in AHL Manitoba's 1-0 win over Belleville on Saturday.
Milic has four shutouts this season, including three over his last nine outings. The 22-year-old goalie is up to 17-11-4 with a 2.45 GAA and a .911 save percentage over 33 appearances this season. Milic has taken some strides this year in his development, but it's unclear if he'll start seeing more regular NHL minutes in 2026-27.

Adin Hill G | LV
Golden Knights' Adin Hill: Tending twine Saturday
Hill will protect the home goal versus the Capitals on Saturday, Jesse Granger of The Athletic reports.
Hill has been a little unlucky lately, going 3-5-1 despite a 2.48 GAA and .884 save percentage over his last nine games. The 29-year-old rarely faces a lot of shots behind Vegas' stingy defense, but the results haven't been going his way much lately. The Capitals have scored 17 goals over their last six games, going 3-1-2 in that span.

Josh Anderson RW | MON
Canadiens' Josh Anderson: Not returning to game
Anderson (illness) won't return to Saturday's game versus the Predators.
Anderson exited the game late in the second period and won't be able to return. That puts his status in doubt for Sunday's game against the Hurricanes as well. If Anderson can't play, the Canadiens may need to dress seven defensemen or make a call-up from AHL Laval, assuming Alexandre Texier (lower body) remains out.
