  • Nikolaj Ehlers LW | CAR

Hurricanes' Nikolaj Ehlers: Scores in back-to-back games

Ehlers scored a goal and took two shots in Saturday's 4-3 shootout win over the Flyers.

Ehlers has scored in back-to-back games for the second time this season, having done so in a two-game set Nov. 4 and Nov. 6. Ehlers has eight goals and 22 points this season. Despite being available regularly for the Hurricanes, he's a bit off the pace to reach 60 points for a third consecutive campaign.

  • Seth Jarvis C | CAR

Hurricanes' Seth Jarvis: Scores vs. Philly

Jarvis scored a goal, took three shots and recorded five hits in Saturday's 4-3 shootout win over the Flyers.

Jarvis scored his 18th goal of the season at the 12:26 mark of the third period with a wrister that gave the Canes a 3-2 lead. Although the team couldn't sustain it, Carolina ended up winning after a shootout in which Jarvis couldn't score. The star winger remains productive and has netted seven goals over his last nine appearances, a stretch in which he's also racked up an assist, 33 shots on goal, 18 hits, three blocked shots and a minus-2 rating.

  • Jets' Domenic DiVincentiis: Returned to minors

DiVincentiis was loaned to AHL Manitoba on Sunday.

Connor Hellebuyck made 24 saves in a 5-1 win over Washington on Saturday in his return to the lineup from a knee injury. As a result, the Jets no longer need DiVincentiis on the roster. He has a 6-7-0 record with a 2.49 GAA and a .915 save percentage across 13 AHL appearances this season.

  • Golden Knights' Brayden McNabb: Scores game-winner Saturday

McNabb scored the game-winning goal in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Blue Jackets.

McNabb found the back of the net for the first time this season and did it in style, potting a snap shot past Jet Greaves to give the Golden Knights a comeback win. This was McNabb's first goal and second point of the season despite playing every game for Vegas, so his fantasy appeal shouldn't be very high any time soon.

  • Jet Greaves G | CLB

Blue Jackets' Jet Greaves: Suffers another defeat

Greaves stopped 22 of 25 shots in Saturday's 3-2 loss to the Golden Knights.

Greaves was beaten once in the second period and twice in the final frame, and the 24-year-old netminder has lost in each of his last four starts. Over that stretch, he's allowed three or fewer goals each time, so the Blue Jackets are clearly slumping on offense. Greaves owns a 2.49 GAA and a .922 save percentage during his four-game losing skid, numbers that show he's been much better than what his record indicates.

  • Blue Jackets' Charlie Coyle: Ends scoring drought

Coyle scored a goal and took four shots in Saturday's 3-2 loss to the Golden Knights.

Coyle found the back of the net at the 7:02 mark of the first period with a wrister that gave Columbus a one-goal lead. However, the team was unable to sustain it and lost a fifth straight game. At least Coyle snapped his scoring drought, as this was his first goal since Dec. 1. With only five points (two goals, three assists) in seven December games and a bottom-six role entrenched, Coyle shouldn't carry a ton of fantasy upside moving forward.

  • Golden Knights' Mitch Marner: Three assists in win

Marner had three assists, including one on the power play, in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Blue Jackets.

Marner remains a highly productive player for the Golden Knights, and he's cracked the scoresheet in seven of his last nine outings. Over that stretch, the 28-year-old winger has two goals and 11 assists. His elite playmaking ability has led him to record 26 assists in 31 games so far this season, tied for the 10th-best mark in the NHL.

  • Carter Hart G | LV

Golden Knights' Carter Hart: Secures another win

Hart stopped 27 of 29 shots in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Blue Jackets.

Hart has won three of his four starts this season, and he's yet to suffer a defeat in regulation. Over his four outings, he's 3-0-1 with a 2.61 GAA and a .900 save percentage. Hart remains a solid streaming option while Adin Hill (lower body) remains on injured reserve.

  • Nils Hoglander LW | VAN

Canucks' Nils Hoglander: Set to play

Hoglander (illness) is expected to play against the Devils on Sunday, according to Brendan Batchelor of Sportsnet 650.

Despite sitting out Saturday's practice, Hoglander won't miss any game action. He hasn't earned a point in two appearances this season while posting two shots on net and three hits.

  • Canucks' Thatcher Demko: Defending crease Sunday

Demko will guard the road goal against New Jersey on Sunday, per Mike Morreale of NHL.com.

Demko is coming off a 12-save effort in Thursday's 3-2 loss to Buffalo. He has a 5-5-0 record with a 2.83 GAA and an .898 save percentage through 11 appearances this season. New Jersey is tied for 19th in the league with 2.94 goals per game this year.
