  • Adrian Kempe RW | LA

Kings' Adrian Kempe: Late scratch Monday

Kempe will not play in Monday's road game against the Rangers due to a lower-body injury.

Kempe seems to have sustained the injury during warmups -- he was on the ice for pregame line rushes. This will be the first time Kempe has missed a game in 2025-26. Mathieu Joseph was originally going to be a healthy scratch Monday, but he'll stay in the lineup due to Kempe's absence. The Kings' next game is at home Thursday versus the Flyers.

  • John Gibson G | DET

Red Wings' John Gibson: Starting against Calgary

Gibson will start Monday's home game against the Flames, Red Wings in-game host Kara Wolfbauer reports.

Gibson has been inconsistent over the past week and a half, going 1-3-1 with a 2.58 GAA and .902 save percentage. He made a road start against Calgary on Dec. 10 and allowed three goals on 37 shots (.919 save percentage) in a 4-3 win. On the season, the Flames are generating 2.47 goals per game, which is the worst mark in the league.

  • Canadiens' Alexander Zharovsky: Reaches 40-point mark Sunday

Zharovsky scored a goal and added an assist in Salavat Yulaev Ufa's 5-3 win over the Shanghai Dragons on Sunday in the KHL.

With the effort, Zharovsky earned a 40-point campaign (15 goals, 25 assists) in 57 appearances. It's been a breakout year for the 19-year-old winger, who is among the better NHL-affiliated prospects currently in the KHL. Ufa will be in the playoffs, so he'll have a chance to keep contributing for a few more weeks.

  • Alex Newhook C | MON

Canadiens' Alex Newhook: Finds twine Sunday

Newhook scored a goal in Sunday's 4-3 loss to the Ducks.

Newhook got the Canadiens on the board at 1:33 of the second period. The forward has picked up where he left off after a lengthy absence due to an ankle injury, earning three goals and four assists over nine contests since his return following the Olympic break. The 25-year-old is up to nine goals, 19 points, 34 shots on net, 35 hits and a plus-9 rating over 26 appearances.

  • Chris Kreider LW | ANA

Ducks' Chris Kreider: Dishes pair of helpers

Kreider notched two assists, two shots on goal and a plus-2 rating in Sunday's 4-3 win over the Canadiens.

Kreider has tapped into his playmaking more in March, earning a goal and eight assists over nine games this month. He had a hand in goals by linemates Leo Carlsson and Troy Terry in Sunday's win. Kreider is up to 42 points (21 goals, 21 helpers) with 112 shots on net, 53 hits, 26 PIM and a minus-3 rating across 61 appearances.

  • Sharks' Zack Ostapchuk: Little offense since break

Ostapchuk has earned one assist over 10 games since the Olympic break after being held scoreless in Sunday's 7-4 loss to the Senators.

Ostapchuk has played in every game since the break, filling a fourth-line role. He's at five points, 101 hits, 30 shots on net, 17 PIM and a minus-9 rating over 42 appearances. The 22-year-old was a second-round pick in 2021, so there's still potential for him to grow into a middle-six center at some point, but the Sharks have enough prospect depth to make that an uphill battle for him.

  • Sharks' Vincent Desharnais: Notches helper in loss

Desharnais recorded an assist, four hits and two PIM in Sunday's 7-4 loss to the Senators.

Desharnais ended a 10-game point drought with the helper. The 29-year-old defenseman continues to fill a third-pairing role with time on the penalty kill. The helper was his fifth point of the season to go with 23 shots on net, 68 hits, 61 blocked shots, 58 PIM and a plus-5 rating over 38 appearances.

  • Sharks' Michael Misa: Lights lamp in loss

Misa scored a goal in Sunday's 7-4 loss to the Senators.

Misa has three points over his last three games. His tally Sunday tied the game at 4-4 before the Senators pulled away late in the third period. Misa is now at seven goals, 16 points, 36 shots on net and a plus-4 rating over 28 appearances. He's nowhere near his peak potential yet, so fantasy managers should continue to keep an eye on his progress.

  • Collin Graf RW | SJ

Sharks' Collin Graf: Scores again Sunday

Graf scored a goal on two shots in Sunday's 7-4 loss to the Senators.

Graf has scored in three straight games, picking up five points and seven shots on net in that span. He is back on the top line after Igor Chernyshov (upper body) sustained an injury early in Saturday's contest versus the Canadiens. Graf has found success in a versatile role this season, with his goal giving him 40 points (19 tallies, 21 helpers) over 64 appearances. He's added 91 shots on net, 68 hits, 42 blocked shots and a plus-4 rating.

  • Artem Zub D | OTT

Senators' Artem Zub: Send two assists in win

Zub notched two assists, two PIM and three blocked shots in Sunday's 7-4 win over the Sharks.

Zub has picked up the pace with five helpers and a plus-5 rating over his last six games. The 30-year-old defenseman is playing in a top-four role, and there's been a little more room for him offensively in the absence of Jake Sanderson (upper body). Zub has 24 points -- one shy of his career high from 2023-24 -- and he's added 70 shots on net, 58 hits, 92 blocked shots, 40 PIM and a plus-17 rating over 65 outings.
