    Bruins' Lukas Reichel: Sent to AHL

    Reichel was assigned to AHL Providence on Sunday.

    Reichel had one assist, nine shots on net, eight blocked shots and six hits in 14 games during the 2025-26 NHL regular season. Following Boston's first-round exit from the postseason at the hands of Buffalo, Reichel will get a chance to continue playing at the minor-league level in the Calder Cup Playoffs.

    Coghlan was recalled from AHL Henderson on Sunday.

    Coghlan didn't earn a point in three appearances with Vegas during the regular season, but he contributed two shots on net, four blocked shots and four hits. He had 14 goals and 44 points in 62 regular-season games with AHL Henderson in 2025-26.

    Kiviranta (undisclosed) hasn't resumed skating yet, according to Bailey Curtis of DNVR Sports on Sunday.

    Kiviranta appears poised to miss his third straight outing against Minnesota in Sunday's Game 1 matchup. He is dealing with a day-to-day injury, but continuing to miss skates doesn't bode well for his progress. It's unclear when he will be ready to return to the lineup.

  • Wild's Joel Eriksson Ek: Out for first two games of Round 2

    Eriksson Ek (lower body) will miss the first two games of Minnesota's second-round series against Colorado, according to Michael Russo of The Athletic on Sunday.

    The Wild play in Game 1 against the Avalanche on Sunday, but Eriksson Ek didn't accompany his teammates on the road trip. However, the team is hopeful that Eriksson Ek can return for Game 3 on Saturday. He had three goals, five points, 24 shots on net and 15 hits in six games during Minnesota's first-round series win over Dallas.

    Avalanche's Josh Manson: Unavailable Sunday

    Manson (upper body) won't play in Game 1 against Minnesota on Sunday, Meghan Angley of Guerilla Sports reports.

    Manson will miss his second straight outing. He sustained the injury during the opening round of the postseason in a 4-2 win over the Kings in Game 3 on April 23. Manson has two assists and 10 hits in three appearances during the 2026 Stanley Cup Playoffs. Due to Manson's absence, Nick Blankenburg will be in the lineup for Sunday's matchup against the Wild.

  • Avalanche's Scott Wedgewood: Slated starter for Game 1

    Wedgewood is expected to protect the home net against Minnesota on Sunday in Game 1, Evan Rawal of the Denver Gazette reports.

    Wedgewood has a 4-0 record in the 2026 Stanley Cup Playoffs after allowing only five goals on 101 shots in Colorado's first-round sweep of the Kings. During the 2025-26 regular season, he stopped 69 of 73 shots en route to a 1-0-1 record against Minnesota. The Wild scored 23 goals in six games versus Dallas in Round 1 of the postseason.

    Stanley (illness) participated in Sunday's practice and should be available for Game 1 of the second round of the 2026 Stanley Cup Playoffs, per Heather Engel of NHL.com.

    Stanley sat out Friday's series-clinching 4-1 win over Boston in Game 6. He didn't have a point in the opening round of the postseason, but he registered five PIM, five shots on net, six blocked shots and six hits in five appearances.

    Sabres' Noah Ostlund: Poised to miss Round 2 of playoffs

    Ostlund (lower body) isn't expected to be available to play in the second round of the 2026 Stanley Cup Playoffs, according to Rachel Lenzi of The Buffalo News on Sunday.

    Ostlund sustained the injury in the first period of Game 5 against Boston on Tuesday. He had one goal, one assist, four shots on net and one blocked shot in three appearances during Buffalo's first-round series win over the Bruins. It remains unclear when he will be available to return to the lineup.

    Sabres' Sam Carrick: Not expected back in Round 2

    Carrick (arm) isn't expected to be an option in the second round of the 2026 Stanley Cup Playoffs, Rachel Lenzi of The Buffalo News reports Sunday.

    Carrick is still dealing with a week-to-week injury and hasn't played since March 31 against the Islanders. He had nine goals, 16 points, 75 shots on net and 106 hits across 73 appearances between the Sabres and Rangers during the 2025-26 regular season. It remains unclear when he will be available to return to the lineup.

    Canadiens' Noah Dobson: Game-time decision for Sunday

    Dobson (thumb) will be a game-time decision for Game 7 against Tampa Bay on Sunday, according to Eric Engels of Sportsnet.

    Dobson sat out the first six games of the playoffs and the final two games of the regular season. However, he could be available to play in Sunday's Round 1 finale versus the Lightning. Dobson produced 12 goals, 47 points, 158 shots on net, 188 blocked shots and 62 hits in 80 games during the 2025-26 regular season.
