Vasilevskiy is coming off a 30-save shutout in Friday's 1-0 overtime win over the Canadiens in Game 6. He has surrendered 14 goals on 147 shots en route to a 3-3 record this postseason. The winner of Sunday's matchup between Tampa Bay and Montreal will visit Buffalo on Wednesday in Game 1 of the second round of the playoffs.

Viktor Arvidsson LW | BOS
Bruins' Viktor Arvidsson: Had fractured rib, punctured lung
Arvidsson suffered a fractured rib and a punctured lung during the 2026 Stanley Cup Playoffs, Amalie Benjamin of NHL.com reports Sunday.
Arvidsson sat out the final two games of Boston's first-round series loss to Buffalo, but he reportedly had a chance to play had the Bruins forced a Game 7 and avoided elimination at the hands of the Sabres on Friday. Buffalo emerged victorious in Game 6, so Arvidsson will have the summer to recover, and he should be ready for training camp in the fall.

Isak Posch G | COL
Avalanche's Isak Posch: Summoned from AHL
Posch was recalled from AHL Colorado on Saturday.
Posch will serve as the third goaltender for the Avalanche in the 2026 Stanley Cup Playoffs behind Scott Wedgewood and Mackenzie Blackwood. The 24-year-old Posch posted a 15-8-5 record with a 2.78 GAA and an .891 save percentage in 28 regular-season appearances for AHL Colorado in 2025-26.

Mike Reilly D | CAR
Hurricanes' Mike Reilly: Dishes pair of helpers
Reilly had two assists, two PIM and a plus-3 rating in Saturday's 3-0 win over the Flyers in Game 1 of the second round.
Reilly didn't feature during the first-round series versus the Senators, but he filled in Saturday for Alexander Nikishin (concussion). The 32-year-old Reilly played in the final four games of the regular season, but these helpers were his first points since his March 14 assist against the Lightning. He had nine points over 42 regular-season appearances, and in his career prior to this year, he had picked up just six points over 21 postseason outings across four campaigns.

Jackson Blake RW | CAR
Hurricanes' Jackson Blake: Goal, assist in win
Blake scored a goal on two shots, dished an assist, added 12 PIM, logged three hits and went plus-2 in Saturday's 3-0 win over the Flyers in Game 1 of the second round.
Blake has gotten on the scoresheet in four of the Hurricanes' five playoff games. He has two goals, four assists, 10 shots on net, five hits, 16 PIM and a plus-5 rating this postseason. Blake's offense is stronger than his non-scoring production, and he'll continue to offer plenty of upside as long as he stays on the second line with the red-hot Logan Stankoven.

Logan Stankoven C | CAR
Hurricanes' Logan Stankoven: Scores twice to lead offense in win
Stankoven scored two goals on five shots and went plus-3 in Saturday's 3-0 win over the Flyers in Game 1 of the second round.
Stankoven opened the scoring just 1:31 into the game and added another tally in the second period. The 23-year-old's point streak is up to 13 games in total, and he's racked up 13 goals and five assists in that span, which dates back to March 31. Stankoven has earned six goals and a helper over five playoff contests, and his line with Jackson Blake and Taylor Hall continues to lead the charge for the Hurricanes' offense.

Frederik Andersen G | CAR
Hurricanes' Frederik Andersen: Sets Carolina record in Game 1 win
Andersen posted a 19-save shutout in Saturday's 3-0 win over the Flyers in Game 1 of the second round.
Andersen's win was his 24th playoff victory for the Hurricanes, surpassing Cam Ward's team record. The 36-year-old Andersen has earned five of those wins, including two shutouts, this postseason. He's allowed just five goals on 129 shots over five playoff games, cementing his status as the Hurricanes' No. 1 goalie. Look for Andersen to get the nod again in Game 2 on Monday.
-
Dan Vladar G | PHI
Flyers' Dan Vladar: Allows three goals in loss
Vladar stopped 20 of 23 shots in Saturday's 3-0 loss to the Hurricanes in Game 1 of the second round.
Vladar and the Flyers were down 2-0 by the 7:30 mark of the first period as the Hurricanes' second line showed no rust after a week off. While Vladar was able to settle in after that, the Flyers' offense made no inroads against the Hurricanes' defensive structure, totaling just 19 shots on net for the game. Vladar would have to really struggle to lose his spot as the Flyers' No. 1 goalie. He's 4-3 this postseason and has allowed no more than three goals in any of his seven games so far. Expect him back between the pipes for Game 2 on Monday.

Kashawn Aitcheson D | NYI
Islanders' Kashawn Aitcheson: Racks up three helpers for Colts
Aitcheson produced three assists in OHL Barrie's 4-3 overtime win over Brantford in Game 6 on Saturday.
Aitcheson's effort helped the Colts force Game 7, which will have a trip to the OHL finals on the line. He has earned two goals and six assists over six outings against Brantford in this series. Overall, Aitcheson has picked up five goals and 16 assists across 14 playoff contests.

Alexander Nikishin D | CAR
Hurricanes' Alexander Nikishin: Not ready for Game 1
Nikishin (concussion) won't be in the lineup for Game 1 of the second round versus the Flyers on Saturday, Ryan Henkel of The Hockey News reports.
Nikishin was considered a game-time decision, but he apparently hasn't cleared the last hurdle to return to action. The 24-year-old defenseman doesn't seem to be far off at this point, so it wouldn't be surprising to see him back at some point during this series.
