  • Ross Colton C | COL

    Avalanche's Ross Colton: Out Thursday

Colton (upper body) isn't expected to play Thursday versus Seattle, per Corey Masisak of The Denver Post.

Colton suffered the injury during Tuesday's game against Edmonton. He has eight goals and 23 points in 60 appearances in 2025-26. The Avalanche are expected to dress 11 forwards and seven defensemen Thursday, which should result in Nick Blankenburg drawing back into the lineup.

  • Avalanche's Scott Wedgewood: Set to face Seattle

Wedgewood is expected to start on the road against Seattle on Thursday, per Corey Masisak of The Denver Post.

Wedgewood has a 24-4-5 record, 2.19 GAA and .916 save percentage in 35 appearances in 2025-26. He's won his past four outings while allowing just five goals on 102 shots (.951 save percentage). Seattle has lost its past three games while being outscored 14-8.

  • Bobby McMann C | SEA

    Kraken's Bobby McMann: Still unavailable

McMann (not injury related) isn't expected to be available to play Thursday versus Colorado, per 93.3 KJR.

McMann was acquired by Seattle from Toronto on Friday, but it's taking him longer than expected to go through the visa process. Head coach Lane Lambert described the situation as "extremely disappointing." McMann had 19 goals and 32 points in 60 outings with the Maple Leafs before the trade.

  • Penguins' Arturs Silovs: Facing Vegas

Silovs will be between the visiting pipes in Vegas on Thursday, per Penguins play-by-play announcer Josh Getzoff.

Silovs is 4-1-0 in his last five starts, allowing 11 goals on 132 shots (.917 save percentage). Overall, the 24-year-old netminder is 14-8-8 with a pair of shutouts, a 2.84 GAA and an .897 save percentage over 30 appearances this season. The Golden Knights are producing 3.22 goals per game, 13th in the NHL.

  • Austin Watson LW | DET

Red Wings' Austin Watson: Up from AHL

Watson was called up by the Red Wings under emergency conditions Thursday.

Watson has 11 goals, 20 points and 137 PIM in 48 appearances with AHL Grand Rapids in 2025-26. The 34-year-old has participated in 528 career NHL regular-season games, but he hasn't played at the top level this campaign.

  • Penguins' Samuel Girard: Not available Thursday

Girard (upper body) has been ruled out of Thursday's clash in Vegas.

Girard missed Tuesday's tilt against Carolina. The defenseman has yet to pick up a point in seven games with the Penguins after accumulating three goals and nine assists in 40 games with Colorado before his trade Feb. 24. Look for Ilya Solovyov to remain in the lineup in Girard's absence.

  • Evander Kane LW | VAN

Canucks' Evander Kane: Set to return

Kane (upper body) is expected to play against Nashville on Thursday, per Izzy Cheung of The Hockey News.

Kane missed Monday's 2-0 loss to Ottawa because of the injury. He has 11 goals, 27 points, 78 PIM and 102 hits in 61 outings with the Canucks in 2025-26. Nils Hoglander is projected to be a healthy scratch as a result of Kane's return.

  • Mark Stone RW | LV

Golden Knights' Mark Stone: Game-time call Thursday

Head coach Bruce Cassidy refused to rule Stone (upper body) in or out of the lineup Thursday in Pittsburgh, SinBin.vegas reports.

Stone has missed the last five games and though he practiced Thursday, it was in a non-contact jersey. Stone has 21 goals and 39 assists, including 22 points on the power play, in 43 games this season. While is appears likely that he will sit out at least one more game, there is still a chance that Stone could play Thursday.

  • Blues' Jonathan Drouin: Won't play Thursday

Drouin (not injury related) will miss Thursday's game in Carolina, per Andy Strickland of the FanDuel Sports Network.

Drouin was acquired by St. Louis from the Islanders on March 6, but the Islanders were on the road when he was dealt, and he hasn't gotten the opportunity to return to New York to pick up his things. For that reason, Drouin has briefly parted ways with the Blues to gather his stuff. He's expected to be an option for Friday's home game against the Oilers. Nathan Walker might play Thursday due to Drouin's absence.
