  • Kings' Jimmy Lombardi: Two goals in OHL win

    Lombardi scored twice in OHL Flint's 4-2 win over Windsor on Saturday.

    Lombardi had two goals and three assists over eight contests between multi-point efforts. The Kings prospect is up to 33 goals, 66 points, 168 shots on net and a plus-31 rating through 60 appearances this season. He's grown his offense from last year's 45-point performance in 63 regular-season outings, which is a positive sign. The 19-year-old signed his entry-level deal in December, so he's likely to play one more year of junior hockey before moving on to the AHL.

  • Penguins' Stuart Skinner: Four-game losing streak

    Skinner made 12 saves Saturday in a 4-3 shootout loss to Philadelphia.

    Skinner is 0-1-3 in his last four starts; he has allowed 12 goals in that span (0.857). Prior to that, Skinner won eight of his previous nine games. He has a 2.63 GAA with Pittsburgh this season, which is about as strong as he's had at any point in his career. However, Skinner's .889 save percentage in black and gold is his worst result, other than in the single game he played in 2020-21.

  • Penguins' Yegor Chinakhov: Apple fritter night in loss

    Chinakhov had two assists in a 4-3 shootout loss to Philadelphia on Saturday.

    Chinakhov has 10 goals, six assists and 55 shots in 24 games with the Penguins. He had just three goals, three assists and 36 shots in 29 games with Columbus before the deal that brought him to Pittsburgh. Chinakhov has high-end offensive talent, but he's never been able to translate talent into output.

  • Panthers' Sandis Vilmanis: Two goals in AHL return

    Vilmanis scored twice in AHL Charlotte's 5-4 overtime win over Lehigh Valley on Saturday.

    Vilmanis was back in the AHL after two months with the Panthers. He showed up well with five points over 19 outings in a limited bottom-six role. For Charlotte this season, he's earned 10 goals and 21 points through 32 appearances. He'll likely close out 2025-26 in the AHL before competing for an NHL role in training camp in the fall.

  • Olle Lycksell RW | OTT

    Senators' Olle Lycksell: Four points in Belleville win

    Lycksell scored a goal and added three assists in AHL Belleville's 7-3 win over Utica on Saturday.

    Lycksell hadn't earned a multi-point effort since Dec. 31. His output Saturday matched his total from his previous eight games combined. Overall, the winger has 11 goals and 23 points through 32 appearances for Belleville this season.

  • Flyers' Denver Barkey: First goal in 11 games

    Barkey scored a goal in Saturday's 4-3 shootout win over the Penguins.

    Barkey's goal tied the game 3-3 midway through the second period. He took a pass from Matvei Michkov as he drove the net, and he lifted a backhand in at the right post. It was Barkey's first goal in 11 games. He has three goals, eight assists and 30 shots in 27 games this season.

    Flyers' Owen Tippett: Fourth straight 20-goal season

    Tippett scored a goal Saturday in a 4-3 shootout win over the Penguins.

    Tippett scored on a one-timer from the inside edge of the left circle; it was the Flyers' first shot of the game, and it came at 3:54 of the first period. Tippett has 20 goals and 17 assists this campaign (62 games), which makes this his fourth straight 20-goal regular season.

    Flyers' Dan Vladar: Prevails in shootout

    Vladar made 20 saves in a 4-3 shootout win over Pittsburgh on Saturday.

    Vladar is 3-2-0 with 10 goals allowed in his last five games. He stopped all shooters in the shootout. Vladar is having the best season of his career. He's put up a 20-10-6 record, 2.40 GAA and .907 save percentage.

  • Adam Larsson D | SEA

    Kraken's Adam Larsson: Set to play Saturday

    Larsson (illness) is slated to play versus the Senators on Saturday, per the NHL media site.

    Larsson was one of three players named who were battling an illness, but the defenseman is poised to play through any lingering issues. He's missed just one game in his five seasons with the Kraken. The defenseman will be paired with Vince Dunn as usual for Saturday's game.

  • Joey Daccord G | SEA

    Kraken's Joey Daccord: Expected to start Saturday

    Daccord is slated to start at home against Ottawa on Saturday, per Circling Seattle Sports.

    Daccord has an 18-13-5 record, 2.74 GAA and .906 save percentage in 36 appearances in 2025-26. He's gone 6-1-0 across his past seven outings while posting a 2.00 GAA and a .934 save percentage. However, Ottawa has been similarly hot, going 7-1-2 while averaging 3.80 goals per game over its past 10 matches.
