Larsson (illness) is slated to play versus the Senators on Saturday, per the NHL media site.
Larsson was one of three players named who were battling an illness, but the defenseman is poised to play through any lingering issues. He's missed just one game in his five seasons with the Kraken. The defenseman will be paired with Vince Dunn as usual for Saturday's game.

Kraken's Joey Daccord: Expected to start Saturday
Daccord is slated to start at home against Ottawa on Saturday, per Circling Seattle Sports.
Daccord has an 18-13-5 record, 2.74 GAA and .906 save percentage in 36 appearances in 2025-26. He's gone 6-1-0 across his past seven outings while posting a 2.00 GAA and a .934 save percentage. However, Ottawa has been similarly hot, going 7-1-2 while averaging 3.80 goals per game over its past 10 matches.

Penguins' Rickard Rakell: Two-point night in loss
Rakell had a goal and an assist in Saturday's 4-3 shootout loss to the Flyers.
The goal was Rakell's 12th goal of the season. He has 27 points in 41 games this season, and he'll be expected to carry a lot with Sidney Crosby (lower body) out and Evgeni Malkin serving the first game of a five-game suspension. Rakell is more of a passenger than a driver, so his game could shrink in the short term.

Lindgren (illness) won't play Saturday versus the Senators.
The Kraken have a bug going around the locker room, and it'll cost Lindgren a game. One of Josh Mahura or Cale Fleury will check into the lineup for Lindgren in this contest. Lindgren will have until Tuesday to get healthy before the Kraken host the Predators.

Kraken's Frederick Gaudreau: Set to miss Saturday's game
Gaudreau (illness) isn't expected to play Saturday versus Ottawa.
Gaudreau has four goals and 18 points in 48 appearances this season. Ryan Winterton will probably draw into the lineup as a result of Gaudreau's absence. The 32-year-old Gaudreau might be able to return Tuesday versus Nashville.

Flyers' Alex Bump: Goal in NHL debut
Bump scored a goal in Saturday's 4-3 shootout win over the Penguins.
Bump scored in his NHL debut. It was a wrist shot through traffic from the right circle. He has put up 26 points, including 11 goals, in 36 games with Lehigh Valley of the AHL this season. Bump will return to the AHL when Travis Konecny (upper body) returns to action.

Senators' Linus Ullmark: Getting start in Seattle
Ullmark will protect the road goal versus the Kraken on Saturday, Julian McKenzie of The Athletic reports.
Ullmark will make his fifth straight start. He's gone 2-0-2 in his last four outings, allowing 10 goals on 100 shots. The 32-year-old netminder has a somewhat favorable matchup against the inconsistent Kraken. Seattle has scored just 11 goals over its last five games.

Capitals' Aliaksei Protas: Scores in return
Protas scored a goal Saturday in a 3-1 loss to Boston.
It was a prototypical Protas goal. He was at the top of the crease when a rebound fell onto his stick, and he made no mistake. Protas has five points, including two goals, and eight shots in four appearances since returning from the Olympic break. He also missed one game for personal reasons. Protas is up to 21 goals, 22 assists and 131 shots in 60 games this season. He is currently on pace to top the 55-point mark.

Capitals' Logan Thompson: Losing side of goalie duel
Thompson made 27 saves in a 3-1 loss to Boston on Saturday. He allowed two goals.
Thompson and Jeremy Swayman were both perfect in the first period. Thompson stopped nine shots that frame, and Swayman turned away seven. It was a bit of a duel all game long between the two netminders. The first goal Thompson allowed was a rebound battled out of the air during a second-period power play, and the second came on a breakaway. The loss ended his three-game winning streak.

Lindholm earned an assist in a 3-1 win over the Capitals on Saturday.
Lindholm has chipped in two assists in five games since returning from the 2026 Winter Olympics, where he represented Team Sweden. He has provided four goals and 21 points in 48 appearances this season.
