  • Oilers' Mattias Janmark: Done for season

Janmark (undisclosed) underwent season-ending surgery, per Mark Spector of Sportsnet on Friday.

Janmark was injured in the first period Feb. 25 in Anaheim and did not return. He managed one goal and seven assists in 43 games with the Oilers this season. He is expected to be healthy for the start of training camp in September.

  • Nicolas Roy C | COL

Avalanche's Nicolas Roy: Playing against Stars

Roy (not injury related) is expected to make his Colorado debut against Dallas on Friday, Evan Rawal of the Denver Gazette reports.

Roy has scored just one goal in his last 23 outings while chipping in five assists and 17 shots. If the 29-year-old forward is going to offer Colorado some depth scoring, he is going to need to shoot the puck more. While Roy shouldn't be expected to serve in a power-play capacity, he could see minutes on the penalty kill.

  • Oilers' Tristan Jarry: Drawing start Friday

Jarry will start Friday's home game against the Hurricanes, Tony Brar of Oilers TV reports.

Jarry has sat out the last three games after a cold spell in which he's gone 2-3-0 with a 5.47 GAA and .826 save percentage over his last six appearances. He'll have a difficult matchup in his return to the crease Friday, as the Hurricanes rank fifth in the NHL with 3.44 goals per game this year.

  • John Carlson D | ANA

Ducks' John Carlson: Won't make team debut Friday

Carlson (lower body) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Canadiens, Eric Engels of Sportsnet reports.

Carlson missed the last four games due to a lower-body injury before being traded to the Ducks from the Capitals late Thursday night. He won't join the Ducks until Friday afternoon, and he'll be held out for at least one more matchup. It's not yet clear whether he'll be able to make his team debut against the Blues on Sunday, but he should claim a top-four role and time on the power play once he's deemed healthy enough to suit up for Anaheim.

  • Jordan Eberle RW | SEA

Kraken's Jordan Eberle: Inks two-year extension

Eberle signed a two-year, $11 million contract extension with the Kraken on Friday, according to Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet.

Eberle is having a good season with the Kraken, tallying 22 goals while adding 20 assists over 59 games. The 35-year-old is seeing first-line action as well as power-play time with the No. 1 unit. He has four goals and 11 assists with the man advantage in 2025-26.

  • Panthers' Vinnie Hinostroza: Headed for Sunshine State

Hinostroza is being traded to the Panthers from the Wild for future considerations Friday, Michael Russo of The Athletic reports.

Hinostroza became expendable when the Wild brought in Nick Foligno, also for future considerations. In 48 games this year, the 31-year-old Hinostroza has generated three goals, seven helpers and 46 shots while averaging just 10:18 of ice time. Fantasy managers should expect Hinostroza to fill a similar role with the Cats, making him a relative non-factor in fantasy contests.

  • Avalanche's Mackenzie Blackwood: Set to start Friday

Blackwood is slated to start Friday's road game against Dallas, Evan Rawal of the Denver Gazette reports.

Blackwood will tend the twine for the fourth time in Colorado's six games since the Olympic break. Across his three starts following the layoff, he's gone 2-1-0 with a 2.03 GAA and .914 save percentage. He'll face a tough test Friday, as the Stars rank sixth in the NHL with 3.41 goals per game this year.

  • Corey Perry RW | TB

Lightning's Corey Perry: Returns to Tampa Bay

Perry was acquired by the Lightning from the Kings on Friday in exchange for a 2028 second-round pick, according to Chris Johnston of The Athletic.

Perry played two seasons with the Lightning in 2021-22 and the following year, generating 31 goals and 65 points across 163 regular-season games. The 40-year-old veteran had 11 goals and 28 points in 50 games with the Kings prior to his trade to Tampa Bay.

  • Brett Pesce D | NJ

Devils' Brett Pesce: Set to miss next two games

Pesce (lower body) will not be available against the Rangers or Red Wings on Saturday or Sunday, respectively, Amanda Stein of the Devils' official site reports.

Pesce has already missed one game, but he will now have to be out for at least two more. The 31-year-old blueliner hasn't found the back of the net since Dec. 23 versus the Islanders, a stretch of 24 games during which he has managed just three helpers. With his limited offensive upside, Pesce figures to be a mid-range fantasy option, at best, once cleared to play.

  • Blackhawks' Andrew Mangiapane: Set to make team debut Friday

Mangiapane (not injury related) is available for Friday's game against Vancouver, Ben Pope of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

Mangiapane was traded to Chicago from Edmonton on Wednesday, but his status for Friday's matchup was in question due to his visa application. However, he'll officially be able to make his first appearance with his new team. The 29-year-old has made 52 appearances for the Oilers this year, recording seven goals, seven assists, 51 hits, 36 PIM and 19 blocked shots while averaging 12:36 of ice time.
