  • Dan Vladar G | PHI

Flyers' Dan Vladar: First goalie off Wednesday

Vladar was the first goalie to exit the home ice ahead of Game 6 against the Penguins on Wednesday, Jordan Hall of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports, indicating he'll be in goal.

Vladar has given up six goals on 42 shots (.857 save percentage) in back-to-back losses to the Penguins. Overall, the 28-year-old netminder is sporting a 2.03 GAA and .914 save percentage this playoffs, including one shutout. He'll have his third crack at closing out Philadelphia's opening-round series versus the Penguins on Wednesday.

  • Lightning's Charle-Edouard D'Astous: Game-time call Wednesday

D'Astous (undisclosed) will be a game-time decision for Game 5 against Montreal on Wednesday, per Eduardo A. Encina of the Tampa Bay Times.

D'Astous has missed Tampa Bay's past three games due to the injury. He had six goals, 29 points, 112 PIM, 96 hits and 74 blocks in 70 regular-season outings in 2025-26. Max Crozier might be a healthy scratch if D'Astous draws into the lineup.

  • Bruins' Viktor Arvidsson: Doubtful for Game 6

Arvidsson (upper body) is unlikely to play in Game 6 against the Sabres on Friday after head coach Marco Sturm told reporters, "It's going to be hard," Steve Conroy of the Boston Herald reports.

At this point, Arvidsson will have to hope that his teammates can force a Game 7 if he wants to return to this series. Prior to getting hurt, the veteran winger notched two goals, 11 shots and three blocks in four postseason contests. With Arvidsson set to miss out, Michael Eyssimont figures to remain in a bottom-six role heading into Friday's matchup.

  • Alex Lyon G | BUF

Sabres' Alex Lyon: Falls to Bruins in OT

Lyon stopped 27 shots Tuesday in the Sabres' 2-1 overtime loss to the Bruins in Game 5 of their first-round series.

The Sabres grabbed an early 1-0 lead on a Rasmus Dahlin power-play tally in the first period. However, they weren't able to build on that advantage. The 33-year-old Lyon has given up just four goals on 78 shots (.949 save percentage) in three starts during the series. He'll probably get another shot at leading Buffalo into the second round in Game 6 on Friday.

  • David Pastrnak RW | BOS

Bruins' David Pastrnak: Gives Boston reprieve in OT

Pastrnak scored the winner in the Bruins' 2-1 overtime victory over the Sabres on Tuesday in Game 5 of their first-round series.

Pastrnak maneuvered behind the Buffalo defense and made a great move to extend the series. He didn't find the scoresheet in two contests going into Tuesday's matchup, but he has two goals and six points through five outings this postseason. He'll have more work to do in Game 6 on Friday if the Bruins are going to avoid elimination again.

  • Bruins' Jeremy Swayman: Sharp in OT win Tuesday

Swayman made 24 saves Tuesday in the Bruins' 2-1 overtime win over the Sabres in Game 5 of their first-round series.

Rasmus Dahlin opened the scoring early in the first period with a power-play tally, but Swayman shut the door the rest of the way. The 27-year-old Swayman gave his team a chance to rally and avoid elimination. He has had a strong postseason so far despite his 2-3 record, posting a 2.87 GAA and .910 save percentage. Swayman should be between the pipes when the series shifts back to Boston for Game 6 on Friday.

  • Alex Killorn LW | ANA

Ducks' Alex Killorn: Scores lone goal in loss

Killorn scored a power-play goal on three shots, added three hits and went minus-2 in Thursday's 4-1 loss to the Oilers in Game 5.

Killorn is up to three goals, three assists, four power-play points, 13 shots on net, eight hits and a minus-3 rating over five playoff contests. The 36-year-old has been consistent so far -- he was held off the scoresheet only in Game 1. Killorn should continue to see top-six minutes and power-play time, making him a solid option for DFS as long as the Ducks' postseason run is going.

  • Ville Husso G | ANA

Ducks' Ville Husso: Makes relief appearance

Husso stopped 10 of 11 shots in relief of Lukas Dostal in Tuesday's 4-1 loss to the Oilers in Game 5.

Husso made his first playoff appearance since 2022, when he went 2-5 with a 3.67 GAA and an .890 save percentage over seven games for the Blues. The 31-year-old was brought in to spark the Ducks after a sluggish start to this contest. Husso isn't likely to see much additional playing time this postseason as long as Dostal stays healthy. Expect Husso to be back in the backup role for Game 6 in Anaheim on Thursday.

  • Lukas Dostal G | ANA

Ducks' Lukas Dostal: Chased early in Game 5

Dostal stopped six of nine shots in Tuesday's 4-1 loss to the Oilers in Game 5.

The Ducks got blitzed in the first period, leading to head coach Joel Quenneville pulling Dostal after the third goal in an effort to light a spark under his team. While no comeback materialized, Dostal ended up getting some rest that should allow him to be fresher for Thursday's Game 6 in Anaheim. He's 3-2 with 18 goals allowed on 132 shots over five games this postseason, so Dostal represents a high-risk option for fantasy managers who want to turn to him moving forward.

  • Oilers' Ryan Nugent-Hopkins: Picks up two helpers

Nugent-Hopkins notched two assists, three hits and a plus-2 rating in Tuesday's 4-1 win over the Ducks in Game 5.

Nugent-Hopkins came away with his first multi-point effort since March 10 in Colorado. The 33-year-old has two goals, three helpers, five shots on net, six hits, four blocked shots and a plus-1 rating over five playoff outings. Whether as a center or a wing, Nugent-Hopkins will continue to see significant minutes in all situations for the Oilers.
