Marchment sustained a lower-body injury Thursday versus the Panthers and will be evaluated Friday, Jeff Svoboda of the Blue Jackets' official site reports.

Lucas Beckman G | OTT
Senators' Lucas Beckman: Earns fourth shutout
Beckman recorded a 16-save shutout in QMJHL Chicoutimi's 7-0 win over Gatineau on Thursday.
This was Beckman's fourth shutout of the campaign, earning two each between Chicoutimi and Baie-Comeau. He's now 12-15-3 with a 2.75 GAA and a .914 save percentage over 32 appearances this season. The Senators prospect has been more of a timeshare goalie since joining Chicoutimi, and his performance has drastically improved behind a strong team.

Justin Carbonneau RW | STL
Blues' Justin Carbonneau: Reaches 50-goal mark
Carbonneau scored twice and added an assist in QMJHL Blainville-Boisbriand's 6-3 win over Halifax on Thursday.
Carbonneau reached the 50-goal mark in the QMJHL this season. He's at 77 points, 280 shots on net and a plus-28 rating. Carbonneau has eight goals and four assists during a five-game point streak, and he's still got some time to add to his impressive scoring totals before the playoffs.

Darcy Kuemper G | LA
Kings' Darcy Kuemper: Slated to start Thursday
Kuemper (illness) is expected to start at home against the Islanders on Thursday, per Zach Dooley of the Kings' official site.
Kuemper missed Monday's game against Colorado due to the illness. He has a 14-12-9 record, 2.68 GAA and .897 save percentage in 37 outings in 2025-26. The Islanders suffered a 5-1 loss to Anaheim on Wednesday, which snapped New York's five-game winning streak. The Islanders are 35-22-5 this season.

David Perron LW | DET
Red Wings' David Perron: Shipped to Detroit
Perron (groin) was traded to the Red Wings from the Senators on Thursday in exchange for a conditional 2026 fourth-round pick.
Perron likely would have been squeezed out of the lineup once he recovers from groin surgery, so the Senators were able to find a deal for him. The 37-year-old is six weeks into a 5-7 week recovery timeline, so he could be available fairly soon. Perron figures to be a middle-six option for the Red Wings once healthy. He had 25 points in 49 contests this season prior to his absence.

Nikolas Matinpalo D | OTT
Senators' Nikolas Matinpalo: Won't play Thursday
Matinpalo (undisclosed) will miss Thursday's game against Calgary, per the NHL media site.
Matinpalo has four assists in 30 appearances in 2025-26. Even when Matinpalo is ready to return, he might not draw into the lineup.

Ryan Pulock D | NYI
Islanders' Ryan Pulock: Slated to play
Pulock (upper body) is slated to be in the lineup versus the Kings on Thursday, Andrew Gross of Newsday reports.
Pulock sat out Wednesday versus the Ducks. The 31-year-old defenseman is presumably healthy enough to retake his top-four role, and he should see some time on the penalty kill as well.

Andrei Vasilevskiy G | TB
Lightning's Andrei Vasilevskiy: Set to face Winnipeg
Vasilevskiy is expected to start on the road against Winnipeg on Thursday.
Vasilevskiy has a 28-9-3 record, 2.26 GAA and .914 save percentage in 40 appearances in 2025-26. While he's having a great campaign, the netminder has struggled recently, losing his past two outings while allowing nine goals on 35 shots (.743 save percentage). Winnipeg is coming off a 3-2 overtime victory over Chicago on Tuesday, but the Jets are still an underwhelming 5-4-5 across their past 14 games.

A.J. Greer LW | FLA
Panthers' A.J. Greer: Out for roster management
Greer didn't suit up versus the Blue Jackets on Thursday for roster-management purposes, Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reports.
The Panthers didn't specify a reason prior to the game, leaving some doubt as to if the fourth-liner was a scratch or part of an impending trade. Greer may be moved before Friday's deadline, but if not, expect him back in the lineup Friday versus the Red Wings.

Ryan Poehling C | ANA
Ducks' Ryan Poehling: Staying in Anaheim
Poehling signed a four-year contract extension with the Ducks on Thursday. Per Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet, Poehling's deal is at a $3.75 million AAV.
Poehling was a pending unrestricted free agent this summer, but he decided to stick with a team on the rise. The 27-year-old has 24 points in 54 appearances with the Ducks, and he should be a reliable bottom-six center throughout the term of this new deal, which begins in 2026-27.
