  • Quinn Hughes D | MIN

Wild's Quinn Hughes: One of each Tuesday

Hughes scored a goal on four shots, added a power-play assist and blocked two shots in Tuesday's 5-1 win over the Lightning.

Hughes set up Mats Zuccarello's tally in the second period and added a goal of his own in the third. Over his last 14 outings, Hughes has three goals and 19 helpers, with 10 of those assists coming on the power play. He's up to six goals, 61 points (28 on the power play), 155 shots on net, 63 blocked shots and a minus-2 rating over 56 appearances between the Wild and the Canucks this season.

  • Wild's Filip Gustavsson: Sharp against Lightning

Gustavsson stopped 24 of 25 shots in Tuesday's 5-1 win over the Lightning.

The game was close through two periods, and Gustavsson did his job while the Wild worked to build a lead. The lone goal against was a second-period tally by Nikita Kucherov. Gustavsson has won five of his last six games, allowing two or fewer goals in four of those outings. He's now at a 22-10-6 record with a 2.54 GAA and a .911 save percentage over 39 appearances this season. Gustavsson has started three of the Wild's fourth games since the Olympics, suggesting he will get a majority of the workload as the team competes for its positioning in the Central Division. The Wild's next game is Friday in Vegas.

  • Wild's Marcus Johansson: Exits early after high hit

Johansson sustained an apparent upper-body injury in the third period of Tuesday's game versus the Lightning and didn't return, Dylan Loucks of The Hockey News reports.

Johansson exited the game after Darren Raddysh's hit in the third period. Prior to his exit, Johansson earned an assist, giving him 39 points over 57 contests this season. With no postgame update on his status, Johansson's availability for the Wild's two-game road trip (Friday in Vegas, Sunday in Colorado) is in doubt.

  • Tim Stutzle LW | OTT

Senators' Tim Stutzle: Provides pair of helpers

Stutzle logged two assists, including one on the power play, in Tuesday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Oilers.

Stutzle extended his point streak to 10 games with the effort, his fourth multi-point outing during the hot stretch. The 24-year-old has six goals and eight assists during the streak. The German center is up to 65 points (22 on the power play), 148 shots on net, 94 hits, 39 blocked shots, 31 PIM and a plus-5 rating over 60 appearances. He could take a run at his career-best 90-point campaign from 2022-23 if he finishes this season hot.

  • Senators' Michael Amadio: Finds twine Tuesday

Amadio scored a goal in Tuesday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Oilers.

Amadio had just one assist over his previous four games. The 29-year-old continues to fill a third-line role, though anywhere in Ottawa's top nine is a fine spot for offense. Amadio is up to nine goals, 23 points, 72 shots on net, 83 hits, 33 blocked shots and a plus-5 rating through 60 appearances. At that pace, he should get over the 30-point mark for the first time in his career, as long as he's able to avoid injuries down the stretch.

  • Dylan Cozens C | OTT

Senators' Dylan Cozens: Scores in overtime loss

Cozens scored a goal on three shots and added two hits in Tuesday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Oilers.

Cozens opened the scoring just 3:34 into the game. He has three goals and an assist over his last two games as he continues to show well on offense from a second-line role. For the season, the 25-year-old center has 21 goals, 47 points, 142 shots on net, 163 hits, 49 PIM and a minus-11 rating over 60 appearances. He's matched his point total from each of the last two years and is poised to top the 50-point mark for the first time since his career year of 31 goals and 68 points in 81 outings in 2022-23.

  • Panthers' Sergei Bobrovsky: Good not good enough

Bobrovsky made 28 saves Tuesday in a 5-1 loss to the Devils. He allowed three goals.

Bob tried to be the difference maker, and, to be honest, he was. Bobrovsky kept his teammates in the game when they were on their heels. "Our goaltending was good, but we got behind the game and we're having a hard time generating, so we tried to do it a whole bunch of different ways that weren't particularly effective," Florida coach Paul Maurice told reporters after the game. Bobrovsky has allowed eight goals in his last two games, and he's 1-2-0 in three starts since the break.

  • Senators' Drake Batherson: Tallies twice in overtime loss

Batherson scored two goals on three shots in Tuesday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Oilers.

Batherson's first goal was on the power play. It's his second multi-goal game in a row after he went 10 contests without scoring. The 27-year-old winger is up to 23 goals, 53 points (19 on the power play), 123 shots on net, 82 hits, 23 PIM and a minus-4 rating over 57 appearances. His shot volume is down slightly this year, but he remains a reliable scorer in a top-six role. He has a chance at the 30-goal mark and should also top 60 points for the fourth year in a row.

  • Senators' Linus Ullmark: Takes overtime loss

Ullmark stopped 32 of 37 shots in Tuesday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Oilers.

Ullmark wasn't able to contain a strong offense, squandering three separate leads before Evan Bouchard's goal in overtime decided the contest. The 32-year-old Ullmark hadn't allowed more than two goals in any of his previous four outings since he returned from a personal absence. He's now 17-8-7 with a 2.86 GAA and an .884 save percentage on the season. The remainder of the Senators' road trip is far less intimidating, and it continues Thursday in Calgary.

  • Oilers' Connor McDavid: Adds two more assists

McDavid notched two power-play assists and four shots on goal in Tuesday's 5-4 overtime win over the Senators.

McDavid extended his point streak to five games (one goal, nine assists) with this effort. He helped out on goals by Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and Evan Bouchard, with the latter's being the game-winner. McDavid has 105 points (43 on the power play) and has reached the 70-assist mark in each of the last six campaigns. He's added 232 shots on net, 31 hits, 24 blocked shots and a plus-11 rating over 62 appearances this season.
