  • Blackhawks' Arvid Soderblom: Leads team out in warmups

Soderblom led the team out for warmups and will start Sunday's game against the Mammoth in net, Ben Pope of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

Soderblom hasn't played since Jan. 29, an amount of time that spans six games. However, with the Blackhawks on the second of a back-to-back, he'll get the start Sunday. The 26-year-old is 5-9-2 on the season with a 3.84 GAA and an .874 save percentage. He will face a Mammoth team that ranks 14th in the league at 3.22 goals per game as Soderblom tries for his first win since Jan. 4.

  • Sam Rinzel D | CHI

Blackhawks' Sam Rinzel: Not playing Sunday

Rinzel (illness) won't play against Utah on Sunday, per Ben Pope of the Chicago Sun-Times.

Rinzel will miss his second straight outing. He has collected two goals, 10 points, 51 shots on net, 37 blocked shots and 28 hits in 32 games this season. Due to Rinzel's absence, Kevin Korchinski will remain in the lineup for Sunday's matchup.

  • Kale Clague D | WPG

Jets' Kale Clague: Loaned to AHL

Clague has been loaned back to AHL Manitoba by the Jets, the team announced Sunday.

Clague going down is the corresponding move to the Jets activating Haydn Fleury (upper body) from injured reserve. The 27-year-old Clague was up just serving as insurance. He has 21 points (eight goals, 13 assists) in 44 AHL games on the season and hasn't appeared in an NHL game since the 2023-24 season.

  • Mammoth's Karel Vejmelka: Facing Blackhawks

Vejmelka will patrol the home crease against Chicago on Sunday.

Vejmelka is coming off a 21-save performance in Friday's 5-2 win over Minnesota. He has a 28-15-2 record this campaign with a 2.60 GAA, a .901 save percentage and one shutout through 46 appearances. Chicago sits 26th in the league with 2.61 goals per game this season.

  • Sam Rinzel D | CHI

    Blackhawks' Sam Rinzel: Game-time decision

Rinzel (illness) is a game-time decision for Sunday's game against the Mammoth, Scott Powers of The Athletic reports.

Rinzel missed Saturday's game against the Avalanche due to an illness, and he's a game-time decision for Sunday against the Mammoth. The 21-year-old has 10 points (two goals, eight assists) in 32 games on the season. He'll likely draw in for Kevin Korchinski, if Rinzel plays.

  • Luke Kunin C | FLA

Panthers' Luke Kunin: Pushed to waivers

Kunin has been placed on waivers by the Panthers, Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reports Sunday.

Kunin signed with the Panthers in free agency this past offseason, but it hasn't worked out too well. The 28-year-old has just four points (two goals, two assists) in 44 games on the season. If he clears waivers, he could be assigned to AHL Charlotte, but Kunin hasn't played a minor-league game since the 2018-19 season.

  • Mark Stone RW | LV

Golden Knights' Mark Stone: Suffers injury Sunday

Stone (upper body) won't return to Sunday's game against Pittsburgh, Danny Webster of the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports.

Stone logged just 6:06 of ice time before exiting the contest. He has amassed 21 goals and 60 points in 43 appearances this season. Braeden Bowman replaced Stone on the top line for the start of the second period. However, Mitch Marner also skated alongside Jack Eichel and Ivan Barbashev as Vegas' deficit on the scoreboard increased.

  • Canucks' Guillaume Brisebois: Waived for AHL demotion

Brisebois (lower body) was put on waivers Sunday or the purpose of assignment to AHL Abbotsford.

After starting the 2025-26 campaign on Vancouver's non-roster injured list, Brisebois appears ready to play. If he clears waivers, he will suit up for Abbotsford, where he had two goals and five points in 48 games during the 2024-25 regular season.

  • Oilers' Andrew Mangiapane: Lands on waivers

Mangiapane was placed on waivers Sunday.

Mangiapane has seven goals, 14 points, 51 shots on net and 51 hits across 52 appearances this season. If he clears waivers, he could head to AHL Bakersfield. He might also remain with the Oilers for Tuesday's matchup against Ottawa.

  • Capitals' Anthony Beauvillier: Provides two assists

Beauvillier notched two assists in Saturday's 6-2 loss to the Canadiens.

A return to the top line sparked some offense for Beauvillier, who had gone three games without a point. He's up to 22 points, 130 shots on net, 78 hits, 35 blocked shots and a plus-3 rating over 62 appearances this season. Beauvillier would need a strong finish to get to 30 points, which he hasn't reached since the 2021-22 regular season with the Islanders.
