  • Owen Martin C | WPG

Jets' Owen Martin: Four points in Spokane win

Martin scored a goal and added three assists in WHL Spokane's 5-2 win over Tri-City on Saturday.

Martin has found his stride lately with seven goals and nine assists over his last six games. This was his second four-point effort in that span. For the season, he is up to 21 goals and 26 helpers through 56 appearances. The Jets prospect still doesn't project as a big scorer in the professional ranks, but his recent play has helped him get his 2025-26 campaign back on track after a slow start to the year.

  • Dylan Cozens C | OTT

    Senators' Dylan Cozens: Three-point outburst

Cozens scored twice and had an assist in a 5-2 win over Toronto on Saturday.

Cozens is in the midst of his best season since 2022-23, when he tallied 31 goals and 37 assists in 81 games with Buffalo. His second goal in Saturday's win, which came on the power play, was his 20th of the season. Cozens has been especially effective with the man advantage, with 25 of his points and 11 of his goals coming on power-play situations. He also has 343 faceoff wins, and his 53.5 winning percentage is an improvement over his career average of 48.4 percent.

  • Ryan Shea D | PIT

Penguins' Ryan Shea: Outstanding season continues

Shea scored a goal in Saturday's 3-2 shootout loss to the Rangers.

Shea has a point in each of the Pens' two games since the Olympic break (one goal, one assist). The 29-year-old defender is having an outstanding season. Shea had six points (three goals, three assists), 36 shots and a minus-8 rating in 70 games over the last two seasons, but he already has four goals, 20 assists, 59 shots and a plus-23 stat line in 2025-26. That would give Shea a reasonable shot at a 33-point season. Not bad for a guy with 186 AHL games under his belt after a full four-year career at Northeastern University.

  • Penguins' Stuart Skinner: Winning streak ends

Skinner made 23 saves in a 3-2 shootout loss to the Rangers on Saturday.

Skinner hasn't lost in regulation since Jan. 11, and he's 5-0-2 in his last seven outings. He has also gone 8-1-2 since Christmas. Skinner allowed 12 goals in his first three games in Pittsburgh, but since then, he has allowed two or fewer goals in seven of 11 games. Skinner has a 2.76 GAA and an .891 save percentage in 37 appearances this season between the Penguins and Oilers.

  • Lightning's Dominic James: Sustains apparent leg injury

James (leg) left Saturday's game versus the Sabres, and there was no update on his status following the contest, Benjamin Pierce of the Lightning's official site reports. He scored his seventh goal of the season prior to the injury.

Per Eduardo A. Encina of the Tampa Bay Times, James was hurt late in the third period and couldn't put weight on his right leg after a collision with Michael Kesselring. This could be the type of injury that costs James time, which may force the Lightning to make roster moves to get more center depth. More information should be available prior to Tuesday's game versus the Wild.

  • Lightning's Gage Goncalves: Leaves Saturday's game

Goncalves didn't finish Saturday's game versus the Sabres due to an undisclosed injury, and there was no update on his status from head coach Jon Cooper, Benjamin Pierce of the Lightning's official site reports.

Goncalves was limited to 8:17 of ice time in the contest. The 25-year-old has been filling a larger role recently as a top-six option at even strength while the Lightning roll with 11 forwards and seven defensemen. Curtis Douglas and Scott Sabourin are the extra forwards currently on the roster, though Oliver Bjorkstrand would likely get a bigger bump in usage if Goncalves misses time.

  • Dylan Duke LW | TB

Lightning's Dylan Duke: Two goals in Crunch win

Duke scored two goals in AHL Syracuse's 6-4 win over Laval on Saturday.

Duke is up to 27 goals and 45 points through 52 outings this season. The 22-year-old forward has earned six goals and four assists during a seven-game point streak. The Lightning don't have a need for an extra forward at the NHL level yet, but Duke's performance suggests he should be in the conversation if call-ups are made in the future.

  • Sammy Blais LW | MON

Canadiens' Sammy Blais: Three more points in AHL loss

Blais scored a goal and added two assists in AHL Laval's 6-4 loss to Syracuse on Saturday.

Blais has five points over his last two games. He's up to seven goals and 22 points through 20 AHL outings this season. If he keeps piling up points, he should be at the top of the list for a call-up to the Canadiens should the need arise.

  • Joshua Roy RW | MON

Canadiens' Joshua Roy: Puts up three points

Roy scored a goal and added two assists in AHL Laval's 6-4 loss to Syracuse on Saturday.

Roy has five points over his last two games and a total of six goals and seven assists across 12 outings in February. For the season, he's at 33 points, 136 shots on net and a minus-6 rating through 42 contests. He's on pace for a career-high total in points, needing just three to set a new mark, but he's had the time to do so since he's received no call-ups since November.

  • Red Wings' Michael Brandsegg-Nygard: Adds three more points

Brandsegg-Nygard scored twice and added an assist in AHL Grand Rapids' 6-2 win over Iowa on Saturday.

Brandsegg-Nygard has seven goals and an assist over his last six outings. The 20-year-old prospect is up to 15 goals and 34 points over 48 appearances this season. The Norwegian likely won't need long in the AHL before getting a full-time look with the Red Wings.
