Rangers' Mika Zibanejad: Climbs Swedish all-time goal list
Zibanejad scored a power-play goal in a 3-2 shootout win over the Penguins on Saturday.
It was Zibanejad's team-leading 24th goal and 12th on the power play. He has 53 points and 159 shots in 58 games this season. Zibanejad's goal was his 338th in the NHL, which surpassed Henrik Zetterberg for the seventh-most by a Sweden-born player.

Igor Shesterkin G | NYR
Rangers' Igor Shesterkin: Laser sharp in shootout win
Shesterkin made 31 saves in a 3-2 shootout win over Pittsburgh on Saturday.
Shesterkin was especially sharp in overtime with five great saves to force the shootout. He missed 13 games prior to the Olympic break due to a lower-body injury, and the extra rest during the break clearly has done the netminder some good. The win snapped a five-game skid for a Rangers team that sits last in the Eastern Conference and 30th overall in the NHL. Still, Shesterkin could deliver solid results for fantasy managers.

Juuse Saros G | NSH
Predators' Juuse Saros: In goal Saturday
Saros will protect the road goal versus the Stars on Saturday, Brooks Bratten of the Predators' official site reports.
Saros will get the nod for the first time following his stint with Finland at the Olympics. The 30-year-old went 6-5-2 with a 3.81 GAA and an .880 save percentage over his 14 games prior to the break. Saros is a risky play even against a Stars team missing multiple key players.

Anton Forsberg G | LA
Kings' Anton Forsberg: Slated to face Calgary
Forsberg is expected to start at home against Calgary on Saturday, per Zach Dooley of the Kings' official site.
Forsberg is 0-2-1 with a 4.54 GAA and an .843 save percentage across his past four appearances with the Kings. That's dropped him to 8-9-5 with a 2.80 GAA and an .899 save percentage across 24 outings in 2025-26. The Flames own a subpar 24-27-6 record this campaign, but they've gone 3-1-0 over their past four games while outscoring the opposition by a 13-10 margin.

Dustin Wolf G | CGY
Flames' Dustin Wolf: Set to start in goal
Wolf will protect the road goal versus the Kings on Saturday, Zach Dooley of the Kings' official site reports.
Wolf will go for his second straight win coming out of the Olympic break. He stopped 34 of 35 shots in Thursday's win over the Sharks. With Wolf starting Saturday, expect Devin Cooley to draw a tougher assignment Sunday versus the Ducks.

Cirelli (undisclosed) is slated to play Saturday versus Buffalo, per Benjamin Pierce of the Lightning's official site.
Cirelli missed Tampa Bay's last four games and his chance to play for Team Canada in the 2026 Winter Games due to the injury. He has 15 goals and 35 points in 49 outings in 2025-26. Cirelli is projected to center the second line with Brandon Hagel and Jake Guentzel as his wingers Saturday.

Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen G | BUF
Sabres' Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen: Tending twine Saturday
Luukkonen will guard the road goal versus the Lightning on Saturday, Mike Harrington of The Buffalo News reports.
This will be a tough matchup, as the Lightning are one of the league's top teams. Luukkonen won his first start coming out of the Olympic break, which was also his return from a lower-body injury. He stopped 27 of 28 shots in his win over the Devils on Wednesday. Luukkonen will need to stay sharp between the pipes to maintain a timeshare with Alex Lyon.

Joel Eriksson Ek C | MIN
Wild's Joel Eriksson Ek: Expected to play Sunday after all
Eriksson Ek (face) is set to play Sunday versus St. Louis, per Michael Russo of The Athletic.
Eriksson Ek was originally considered doubtful for that game, but he received good news from the doctor. Eriksson Ek won't end up missing a match after being struck by a high stick during Friday's 5-2 loss to Utah. He has 17 goals and 42 points in 54 appearances in 2025-26.

Joel Armia RW | LA
Kings' Joel Armia: Out of action Saturday
Armia (upper body) won't suit up in Saturday's game versus the Flames, Zach Dooley of the Kings' official site reports.
Armia was hurt Thursday versus the Oilers and will need to miss time. The 32-year-old winger's next chance to play is Monday versus the Avalanche. Samuel Helenius is expected to draw into the lineup in a bottom-six role.
