  • Blues' Oskar Sundqvist: Available for Saturday's matchup

Sundqvist (upper body) will be available for Saturday's game against the Devils, Lou Korac of NHL.com reports.

Sundqvist underwent surgery during the Olympic break and was forced to miss Thursday's game against Seattle, but he's been cleared to suit up for the first half of a back-to-back set Saturday. Over 43 appearances this season, Sundqvist has recorded four goals, 10 assists, 53 hits, 24 blocked shots and 16 PIM while averaging 13:15 of ice time.

  • Dylan Holloway LW | STL

Blues' Dylan Holloway: Stars in return

Holloway scored a hat trick and added an assist in Thursday's 5-1 win over the Kraken.

Holloway opened the scoring at the 7:58 mark of the first period with a snap shot and made it a 3-1 game for St. Louis with a poke shot just 1:35 into the second frame. The 24-year-old, who was returning from an ankle injury that had kept him sidelined for all but one game since mid-December, completed his hat trick with an empty-netter late in the third period. Holloway is up to 11 goals on the season, but as a bottom-six forward, he's not expected to be a very productive fantasy option in most formats.

  • Kaapo Kakko RW | SEA

Kraken's Kaapo Kakko: Lights lamp in loss

Kakko scored a goal in Thursday's 5-1 loss to the Blues.

Kakko didn't play in Wednesday's 4-1 loss to Dallas, but he made his presence felt in this contest despite the fact that Seattle suffered yet another loss. Kakko has three points in his last four games, and he looked pretty good for Finland in the Olympics as well, but his fantasy prospects remain limited. Kakko has seven goals and 15 assists in 41 contests this season, and his bottom-six role in the lineup doesn't exactly help his chances of being a regular scoring threat.

  • Rangers' Alexis Lafreniere: Bags goal vs. Philly

Lafreniere scored a goal in Thursday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Flyers.

Lafreniere went scoreless in the 2-0 loss to the Hurricanes on Feb. 5, the Rangers' last game before the break, but prior to that, he had delivered a three-point effort against Pittsburgh on Jan. 31. The 24-year-old winger has 33 points (13 goals, 20 assists) in 58 games this season.

  • Matvei Michkov RW | PHI

Flyers' Matvei Michkov: Scores twice in win

Michkov scored two goals, one on the power play and one in overtime, in Thursday's 3-2 overtime win over the Rangers.

Michkov opened the door for a Flyers' comeback at the 10:25 mark of the second period with a power-play tally. He'd later score the game-winning goal at 2:10 of overtime with a wrister. The 21-year-old winger netted multiple goals for the third time this season, and he has 15 goals and 31 points in 57 contests. That said, those numbers represent a downgrade compared to his rookie year, when he posted 26 goals and 63 points across 80 contests in 2024-25.

  • Mammoth's Karel Vejmelka: Slated to start Friday

Vejmelka was the first goaltender off the ice at morning skate, Brogan Houston of the Deseret News reports, and is expected to patrol the home crease versus Minnesota on Friday.

Vejmelka is 27-15-2 with a 2.61 GAA and a .901 save percentage across 45 contests this season. He will face the Wild, who are 10th in NHL scoring, generating 3.34 goals per game.

  • Joel Hofer G | STL

Blues' Joel Hofer: Strong showing vs. Seattle

Hofer stopped 23 of 24 shots in Thursday's 5-1 win over the Kraken.

Hofer didn't have a lot of work against an anemic Seattle offense that has scored just two goals in two games since the league resumed. It also allowed Hofer to get back to winning ways, as he had allowed six goals on 28 shots in a loss to Nashville before the break in his previous outing. Hofer is alternating with Jordan Binnington, and the latter is likely to get the start against the Devils on Saturday. Hofer has gone 13-11-3 with a 2.87 GAA and an .897 save percentage this season.

  • Kraken's Philipp Grubauer: Beaten four times Thursday

Grubauer stopped 27 of 31 shots in Thursday's loss to the Blues. The fifth goal was an empty-netter with 3:01 left in the game.

Grubauer made his first start since returning from Olympic duty but wasn't at his best. The struggles have been real of late for Grubauer, who has given up at least three goals in three of his last four starts dating back to Jan. 23. He owns a 2.56 GAA and a .911 save percentage since the beginning of January, however, so he's been much better than those recent numbers indicate.

  • Rangers' Igor Shesterkin: Tagged with OT loss

Shesterkin allowed three goals on 24 shots in Thursday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Flyers.

The 30-year-old goaltender was making his return to the lineup after missing the Rangers' last 13 games due to a lower-body injury. Shesterkin has made 35 starts this season, and while his 17-12-5 record is far from ideal, he's been one of the few bright spots for a struggling Rangers team in 2025-26 with a 2.47 GAA and a .912 save percentage.

  • Flyers' Samuel Ersson: Earns OT win Thursday

Ersson stopped 22 of 24 shots in Thursday's 3-2 overtime win over the Rangers.

Ersson protected the Flyers' crease for the first time since Jan. 29, when he gave up five goals on 20 shots in a loss to the Bruins, but he did a good job this time out. It was Ersson's first win since Jan. 23, but he should revert to his regular backup role behind Dan Vladar when the Flyers take on the Bruins on Saturday.
