  • Oilers' Andrew Mangiapane: Earns two points in win

Mangiapane scored a goal on three shots, added an assist and went plus-2 in Thursday's 8-1 win over the Kings.

Mangiapane was involved in the Oilers' second and third goals, making an early impact in this blowout win. He snapped a six-game point drought with the effort, a span that also included three healthy scratches. Mangiapane is now at seven goals, 14 points, 51 shots on net, 50 hits, 36 PIM and a minus-19 rating through 51 appearances this season, putting him on track for his worst full NHL campaign. He's tough to trust in fantasy while logging bottom-six minutes.

  • Oilers' Connor McDavid: First to 100 points this season

McDavid scored a goal on three shots and added a power-play assist in Thursday's 8-1 win over the Kings.

McDavid scored in the second period and set up Leon Draisaitl's goal early in the third. This effort made McDavid the first player to reach the 100-point mark in the NHL this season, doing so in a mere 60 contests with 35 goals and 65 helpers. He's earned 40 of his points with the man advantage while adding 225 shots on net and a plus-13 rating. This matches his point total from 67 regular-season games a year ago. McDavid's on pace to push for the 130-point mark for the third time in four years, though his career high of 153 points from 2022-23 is likely to be out of reach.

  • Zach Hyman C | EDM

Oilers' Zach Hyman: Posts three points in win

Hyman scored a power-play goal on three shots and added two assists in Thursday's 8-1 win over the Kings.

Hyman did all his damage in a span of 5:45 during the second period. He has four points over two contests since the Olympic break. For the season, the 33-year-old winger continues to produce at a sizzling pace with 24 goals, 16 helpers, 125 shots on net, 38 hits and a plus-12 rating across 41 appearances.

  • Oilers' Leon Draisaitl: Racks up four points in win

Draisaitl scored a power-play goal and added three assists in Thursday's 8-1 win over the Kings.

Draisaitl's first helper also came on the power play. The 30-year-old's goal was set up by Connor McDavid, who got to the 100-point mark on the play. Draisaitl has five goals and 12 helpers over his last eight outings, which has him up to 30 tallies, 84 points (36 on the power play), 165 shots on net and a plus-12 rating through 57 appearances this season. While he's not leading the way for the Oilers this season, Draisaitl is still on track to secure his fifth straight 100-point campaign.

  • Jake Walman D | EDM

Oilers' Jake Walman: Tacks on two goals in blowout win

Walman scored twice on four shots and went plus-3 in Thursday's 8-1 win over the Kings.

Walman had the Oilers' last two goals of the game. He's up to seven tallies this season, including four over his last nine outings. The veteran defenseman is at 17 points, 59 shots on net, 52 blocked shots and a minus-6 rating through 31 contests overall, playing mainly in a second-pairing role.

  • Oilers' Connor Ingram: Bounces back Thursday

Ingram stopped 21 of 22 shots in Thursday's 8-1 win over the Kings.

Ingram was stuck with a relief loss versus the Ducks on Wednesday, but he looked good in his start a day later. The 28-year-old limited the damage to a Warren Foegele tally in the first period, and the Oilers offered plenty of scoring support after that. Ingram has allowed 10 goals on 60 shots over his previous four games. He's now at a 7-5-1 record with a 2.58 GAA and an .899 save percentage in 15 appearances this season. The top job in Edmonton's crease should be up for grabs given Tristan Jarry's struggles, and it could go to Ingram if he strings together a few strong performances. The Oilers' next game is Saturday in San Jose.

  • Sharks' Tyler Toffoli: Tallies lone goal in loss

Toffoli scored a goal on three shots and went minus-2 in Thursday's 4-1 loss to the Flames.

Toffoli was limited to 13:30 of ice time in a third-line role. He battled a lower-body injury after practices resumed late in the Olympic break, but he was able to suit up Thursday. The winger has gone 12 games without a multi-point effort, earning three goals and three assists in that span. Overall, he has 16 goals, 37 points, 132 shots on net and a minus-8 rating across 56 appearances this season.

  • Sharks' Yaroslav Askarov: Takes another loss

Askarov stopped 25 of 28 shots in Thursday's 4-1 loss to the Flames. The fourth goal was an empty-netter.

Askarov took his third straight regulation loss, a span in which he's allowed 10 goals on 79 shots. The 23-year-old has been skidding for much of 2026, holding an opponent under three goals just once in 10 appearances since the start of the new year. For the season, Askarov has a 17-16-2 record with a 3.52 GAA and an .888 save percentage in 36 starts. It would take a lot for the Sharks to mount a playoff push, so Askarov and Alex Nedeljkovic may share the crease down the stretch. Both goalies should start this weekend, as the Sharks host the Oilers on Saturday and the Jets on Sunday.

  • Taylor Hall LW | CAR

Hurricanes' Taylor Hall: Two-point night in win

Hall scored a goal and added an assist Thursday in a 5-4 win over Tampa Bay.

The points were Hall's first in six games (12 shots). The former Hart Trophy winner has a modest 29 points (13 goals, 16 assists) in 58 games this season. Hall's last real offensive impact came in Boston in 2021-22 when he scored 61 points. This season, he's a 40-point winger with limited impact. Fantasy managers can likely do betteron the waiver wire, even for spot starts.

  • Flames' Mikael Backlund: Collects two points

Backlund scored an empty-net goal on five shots, added an assist and went plus-2 in Thursday's 4-1 win over the Sharks.

Backlund ended his nine-game goal drought with the empty-netter. In that span, he was limited to two assists. The veteran center has enjoyed a bounce-back campaign in 2025-26, earning 13 goals, 35 points, 140 shots on net and a plus-15 rating over 57 appearances after being held to 32 points in 76 games a year ago. Backlund should continue to see top-six minutes, and he could challenge for the 50-point mark if he avoids having significant slumps.
