  • Panthers' Sergei Bobrovsky: Dialed in and dominant in paint

Bobrovsky made 28 saves in a 5-1 win over Toronto on Thursday.

Bobrovsky was especially strong in the second period when he made 11 saves to keep the score 3-0. His shutout bid ended 47 seconds into the third. Bobrovsky hasn't been having a great season (3.08 GAA and .874 save percentage), and the Panthers are eight points from a Wild Card spot. There is a chance they enter into a semi-rebuild and 37-year-old Bobrovsky could be on the move. His contract expires this offseason, but he's a big money goalie in the playoffs if they make it.

  • Joel Armia RW | LA

Kings' Joel Armia: Sustains upper-body injury

Armia (upper body) won't return to Thursday's game versus the Oilers.

Armia logged just 4:46 of ice time in this contest. If he's unavailable for Saturday's game versus the Flames, Samuel Helenius will likely replace him in the lineup.

  • Golden Knights' Raphael Lavoie: Scores twice for Henderson

Lavoie scored two goals in AHL Henderson's 6-2 win over Coachella Valley on Thursday.

Lavoie has five goals and three assists over eight games in February. He missed nearly three months in the middle of the campaign, but it hasn't slowed down his offense. For the season, he's earned 22 points, 88 shots on net and a minus-4 rating over 22 outings.

  • Joel Kiviranta LW | COL

    Avalanche's Joel Kiviranta: Undergoing evaluation

Kiviranta is undergoing an evaluation for an undisclosed injury sustained Thursday versus the Wild, Bailey Curtis of DNVR Sports reports.

Kiviranta was injured on a second-period hit. The 29-year-old should be considered day-to-day for now. If he can't play Saturday versus the Blackhawks, expect Zakhar Bardakov to replace Kiviranta in the lineup.

  • Panthers' Evan Rodrigues: Four points in last four games

Rodrigues scored a goal and added an assist in a 5-1 win over Toronto on Thursday.

The goal came shorthanded; it was the first shortie of his NHL career (604 games). Rodrigues also made it into the franchise record book. He had seven shots in the first period, which was the most by a Florida player in a first period since the great Pavel Bure had nine March 16, 2001. Rodrigues has four points (two goals, two assists) and 20 shots in his last four games.

  • Wild's Filip Gustavsson: Leaves game late

Gustavsson exited Thursday's game versus the Avalanche late in the third period after getting ill in his crease, Joe Smith of The Athletic reports.

Prior to his exit, Gustavsson stopped 44 of 45 shots in what was ultimately a winning effort. It's all the more impressive that he was able to play that well at less than 100 percent health. The goalie will likely be on the bench Friday versus the Mammoth, as Jesper Wallstedt seems likely to get the nod in the second half of a back-to-back set.

  • Brad Marchand LW | FLA

Panthers' Brad Marchand: Twice lucky in win

Marchand scored twice Thursday in a 5-1 win over Toronto.

He opened the scoring on a turnover in the Leafs' zone, and he had an empty-net goal in the third to push the score to 4-1. Marchand has 27 goals this season and that ties a franchise record with Jaromir Jagr (2015-16) for the most in a season for a player aged 37 or older. Marchand is having a renaissance season with the kitties after putting up just 51 points in 71 games last season between Boston and Florida. He already has 52 points and 130 shots in just 47 games.

  • Brady Tkachuk LW | OTT

Senators' Brady Tkachuk: Gets goal and misconduct

Tkachuk scored a power-play goal Thursday in a 2-1 overtime loss to Detroit. He also had 10 PIM.

The misconduct came after he jawed at Simon Edvinsson in the penalty box. Edvinsson had flattened Tkachuk with a big hit that bloodied the forward's nose. Dylan Cozens fought Edvinsson to defend his teammate, and Tkachuk went to the glass and started chirping the defender. The goal was Tkachuk's 15th of the season; he has 38 points, 44 PIM and 147 shots in 38 games.

  • Blues' Georgi Romanov: Sent back down

Romanov was reassigned to AHL Springfield on Thursday.

Romanov backed up Joel Hofer in the Blues' 5-1 win over the Kraken on Thursday. Jordan Binnington should be available to start one game of the Blues' upcoming back-to-back, either Saturday at home versus the Devils or Sunday on the road in Minnesota.

  • Senators' Linus Ullmark: Sharp in OT loss

Ullmark made 18 saves in a 2-1 overtime loss to the Red Wings on Thursday.

Ullmark is coming off a restful Olympic break -- he didn't even watch the games. He looked sharp, which bodes well for the stretch run. Despite a below-average save percentage (.884), Ullmark has carried the Sens this season. According to Sportsnet.ca, the team has played at a 101-point pace with Ullmark in the paint. Without him, they've played at a 70-point pace.
