John Gibson G | DET
Red Wings' John Gibson: Great start to stretch run
Gibson made 26 saves in a 2-1 overtime win over Ottawa on Thursday.
The only goal that beat Gibson came on a power play in the first period. He earned the game's first star for his work. It's a great start to the stretch run for the Wings after they had lost four of five (1-3-1) heading into the Olympic break. Gibson is 23-12-2 with four shutouts, 2.57 GAA and .905 save percentage in 38 starts this season. He also has one assist.

Lucas Raymond LW | DET
Red Wings' Lucas Raymond: Brings Olympic offense back to NHL
Raymond set up both goals in a 2-1 overtime win over the Senators on Thursday.
Raymond has four points (one goal, three assists) in his last three games, fresh off finishing third in scoring at the Olympics with nine points. That put him behind only Connor McDavid and Macklin Celebrini, who were both MVP contenders. Raymond's eight assists were second-best, with McDavid leading the way. He was Sweden's best forward, and his ability to drive play and create offense on that stage bodes well for the stretch run in Detroit.

Ethan Czata C | TB
Lightning's Ethan Czata: Puts up three points Thursday
Czata scored a goal and added two assists in OHL Niagara's 5-4 win over Erie on Thursday.
Czata has five points over his last two games. The Lightning prospect is up to 23 goals, 46 points and 66 PIM through 53 appearances, but he's also carrying a minus-17 rating. Czata is shaping up to be a bottom-six grinder, as he is doing only marginally better on offense than he did last year.

Dylan Larkin C | DET
Red Wings' Dylan Larkin: Carries team to victory
Larkin scored two goals in a 2-1 overtime win over Ottawa on Thursday.
Larkin was fresh off an Olympic gold medal win with Team USA, and he carried the Wings. His first goal came in the second period on the power play to tie the game 1-1. His second came when he beat Shane Pinto to the puck before sliding it five-hole on Linus Ullmark. Larkin is on a three-game, five-point scoring streak (three goals, two assists; six shots).

Tyler Toffoli RW | SJ
Sharks' Tyler Toffoli: Set to play Thursday
Toffoli (lower body) is good to play Thursday, according to Max Miller of NHL.com.
Toffoli sustained a lower-body injury during the Olympic break, but he didn't end up missing any playing time. He has 15 goals and 36 points in 55 outings in 2025-26. Toffoli is projected to play on the third line alongside William Eklund and Michael Misa on Thursday.

Connor Ingram G | EDM
Oilers' Connor Ingram: Set to start Thursday
Ingram is expected to start on the road against the Kings on Thursday, per Oilers TV reporter Paige Martin.
Ingram drew into Wednesday's 6-5 loss to Anaheim in relief of Tristan Jarry, stopping three of four shots in 12:41 of ice time. Ingram was also charged with the loss for allowing Anaheim's final goal. The 28-year-old has a 6-5-1 record, 2.70 GAA and .895 save percentage in 14 outings with Edmonton in 2025-26. The Kings will attempt to end their four-game losing streak (0-3-1). They've been outscored 17-9 over that stretch.

Dustin Wolf G | CGY
Flames' Dustin Wolf: Facing Sharks
Wolf will guard the road goal versus the Sharks on Thursday, Max Miller of NHL.com reports.
Wolf is set to get the first game coming out of the Olympic break. The 24-year-old went 2-3-1 with 19 goals allowed on 164 shots over his six outings prior to the break, which saw him mostly alternate starts with Devin Cooley. One of his wins in that stretch was a 23-save performance at home versus the Sharks on Jan. 31.

Mattias Janmark C | EDM
Oilers' Mattias Janmark: Out long-term
Janmark is dealing with a chronic injury that will keep him out long-term, Mark Spector of Sportsnet reports Thursday.
Janmark was limited to 2:30 of ice time Wednesday versus the Ducks. The 33-year-old's absence will likely lead to him landing on long-term injured reserve to provide a bit of cap relief for the Oilers. In Thursday's game versus the Kings, expect the team to play short one forward.

Andrei Kuzmenko LW | LA
Kings' Andrei Kuzmenko: Out Thursday
Kuzmenko (undisclosed) isn't available for Thursday's game against Edmonton, per Zach Dooley of the Kings' official site.
Kuzmenko is considered day-to-day, so he still might be an option Saturday versus Calgary. He has 13 goals and 25 points in 52 outings in 2025-26. Taylor Ward and Jeff Malott are expected to draw back into the lineup, while Samuel Helenius will be a healthy scratch after playing Wednesday versus Vegas.

MacKenzie Blackwood G | COL
Avalanche's Mackenzie Blackwood: Receiving start Thursday
Blackwood will guard the home goal versus the Wild on Thursday.
Blackwood will play the second half of a back-to-back after Scott Wedgewood earned a 4-2 win over the Mammoth on Wednesday. Prior to the Olympic break, Blackwood went 3-3-0 with 13 goals allowed on 150 shots over his previous six outings. He's been pretty good this season, but the Wild will be a tough test.
