Stransky was one of several Czech players who recorded multiple points in this rout of Team France. With a matchup against Switzerland on the horizon Sunday, Stransky could have another favorable matchup on paper.

Vladar was the backup behind Lukas Dostal in the 5-0 loss to Canada, but the former earned the win in this contest despite posting a .750 save percentage. Vladar allowed all three goals in the opening six minutes of the second period. It remains to be seen whether Dostal or Vladar will get the nod for the final group-stage game against Switzerland on Sunday.

Morrissey (undisclosed) will not participate in Canada's final group-stage game versus France on Sunday, Ryan Rishaug of TSN reports.

Canada has already secured the top spot in Group A, securing its advancement to the tournament's quarterfinals round. As such, Morrissey won't need to risk further injury in the last group-stage game. He hasn't been ruled out for the remainder of the Olympics, but it remains to be seen if the defenseman will suit up in the quarterfinals.
