  • Rangers' Jonathan Quick: Facing Hurricanes

Quick is expected to defend the home crease versus Carolina on Thursday, per Vince Z. Mercogliano of The Athletic.

Quick got off to a nice start this season, winning three of his first four assignments, but it has not gone well for the 40-year-old netminder since mid-November. Quick is 1-12-2 with a 3.78 GAA and an .865 save percentage in 15 starts since his 3-1-0 start. Overall, Quick has a 4-13-2 record with a 3.22 GAA and an .883 save percentage. The Hurricanes won't provide much relief for Quick, as they are fifth in NHL scoring, tallying 3.41 goals per game.

  • Flyers' Samuel Ersson: Out until after break

Ersson (lower body) will not be available Thursday against the Senators and should return after the Olympic break, according to Charlie O'Connor of PHLY Sports.

Ersson managed to participate at practice Thursday, but won't be part of the Philadelphia lineup Thursday versus Ottawa. He will miss his third straight game. Ersson is 8-10-5 with a 3.51 GAA and an .856 GAA across 24 appearances this season.

  • Capitals' Pierre-Luc Dubois: Suiting up Thursday

Dubois (abdomen) will be in the lineup against the Predators on Thursday.

Dubois returns after a 47-game stint on injured reserve following his abdominal surgery. The 27-year-old winger figures to slot into a top-six role with the Caps, in addition to linking up with one of the power-play units. Dubois was held without a point in his first six games this year and will not have enough time to get over the 60-point threshold, missing that mark for just the second time in the last five years.

  • Lightning's Andrei Vasilevskiy: Starting Thursday

Vasilevskiy was the first goaltender off the ice at morning skate and will patrol the home crease versus Florida on Thursday, Benjamin Pierce of the Lightning's official site reports.

Vasilevskiy has won seven straight games, allowing 12 goals on 174 shots (.931 save percentage). He is 26-7-3 with a 2.14 GAA and a .917 save percentage over 36 starts this season. The Panthers are generating 3.02 goals per game this season, 19th in the NHL.

  • Dylan Guenther RW | UTA

Mammoth's Dylan Guenther: Finds twine in win

Guenther tallied a goal, put four shots on net and served two PIM in Wednesday's 4-1 win over the Red Wings.

Guenther potted an unassisted goal less than five minutes into the third period to place the Mammoth up by a trio of tallies. With the twine finder, he is up to 25 goals, 47 points, 178 shots on net and 43 hits across 55 games this season. Since Jan. 13, the 22-year-old winger has 10 points and 30 shots on net across nine games. He's been effective in multiple different line combinations this season and ranks third on the Mammoth in points. He'll look to continue his solid run of play and remains a strong fantasy option in most standard leagues following the Olympic break.

  • Dan Vladar G | PHI

Flyers' Dan Vladar: In goal Thursday

Vladar will get the starting nod at home against the Senators on Thursday, Jordan Hall of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.

Vladar will make his fifth straight appearance in the crease for the Flyers, having gone 1-1-0 in his last four outings while sporting a 2.70 GAA. Once the backstop wraps up Thursday's tilt, he can focus on joining Team Czechia in Milan, though he may face an uphill battle for starts with Lukas Dostal and Karel Vejmelka, the other two Czech netminders.

  • Clayton Keller RW | UTA

Mammoth's Clayton Keller: Adds two points in win

Keller scored an empty-net goal, supplied an assist and placed three shots on net in Wednesday's 4-1 win over Detroit.

Keller picked up a secondary helper on Nick Schmaltz's power-play goal before later finding twine himself against Detroit's empty net. With one of each in Wednesday's victory, Keller is up to 17 goals, 37 assists, 152 shots on net and 22 blocked shots across 57 games played this season. Since the calendar flipped to 2026, the 27-year-old winger has eight multi-point performances and 21 points overall through 17 games. Utah's captain has consistently displayed his big-game potential all season long en route to his current point total of 54, which leads the team and ties him for 35th in the NHL. He'll stay active during the Olympic break with Team USA before returning to the Mammoth, who are looking to secure the top wild-card spot in the Western Conference this season.

  • Jets' Connor Hellebuyck: Struggles continue Wednesday

Hellebuyck stopped 22 of 26 shots in Wednesday's 5-1 loss to the Canadiens, with Montreal's final goal getting scored into an empty net.

The Jets briefly held a 1-0 lead in the first period, but things unraveled quickly for the home squad once Oliver Kapanen beat Hellebuyck to a rebound and slotted it past the sprawling netminder before the first intermission. The three-time Vezina winner has just one win in his last eight starts, going 1-4-3 with a 3.01 GAA and .895 save percentage, and Hellebuyck will try to find his form in Milan while representing Team USA at the Olympics.

  • Mammoth's Nick Schmaltz: One of each in big win

Schmaltz scored a power-play goal, distributed an assist and fired six shots on net in Wednesday's 4-1 win over the Red Wings.

With the pair of points, Schmaltz is up to 23 goals, 30 assists, 137 shots on net and 35 blocked shots across 57 games this season. The 29-year-old forward is on pace for a career year and is just 11 points shy of surpassing the 63 points he compiled across 82 games a season ago. The natural winger has done this all from Utah's top-line center role due to the absence of Logan Cooley (lower body). Schmaltz will have the chance to rest during the Olympic break, which should prepare him to pick up where he left off in fantasy once the Mammoth are back in action.

  • Noah Dobson D | MON

Canadiens' Noah Dobson: Two-point effort Wednesday

Dobson delivered two assists in Wednesday's 5-1 win over the Jets.

The former Islander helped set up the Canadiens' first and last goals of the night. Dobson heads into the Olympic break riding a five-game point streak in which he's produced a goal and seven points, and through his first 57 games with Montreal he's racked up 10 goals, 38 points, 139 blocked shots, 114 shots on net, 39 hits, 28 PIM and a plus-12 rating.
