Jake McCabe D | TOR
Maple Leafs' Jake McCabe: Gathers helper in win
McCabe notched an assist, four shots on goal, three blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Oilers.
This was McCabe's second point, both assists, in 14 outings since he returned from a two-game absence for a lower-body injury. He's gone minus-9 in that span while adding 21 hits and 29 blocks. The 32-year-old is filling a shutdown role in the Maple Leafs' top four, though he's had decent success on offense. He's at three goals, 15 assists, 50 shots on net, 79 hits, 133 blocks, 31 PIM and a plus-17 rating across 55 appearances this season.

Bobby McMann C | SEA
Maple Leafs' Bobby McMann: Second straight empty-netter
McMann scored an empty-net goal on five shots and added four hits in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Oilers.
For the second game in a row, McMann found the empty net to seal a win. This goal gave him seven points over his last seven outings. The 29-year-old winger continues to carry multi-category appeal with 19 goals, 32 points, 116 shots on net, 126 hits, 30 PIM and an even plus-minus rating over 56 contests this season. McMann's fantasy value is boosted as long as he stays on the top line, though this was the Maple Leafs' last game before the Olympic break.

John Tavares C | TOR
Maple Leafs' John Tavares: Buries power-play tally
Tavares scored a power-play goal on two shots in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Oilers.
Tavares snapped a five-game goal drought and earned his first power-play point since Jan. 19 versus the Wild. The 35-year-old center's goal also stood as the game-winner as the Maple Leafs pulled away in the third period. Tavares is up to 20 goals, a mark he's reached in every full-length season of his career, and 47 points (eight on the power play) through 57 outings. He's added 140 shots on net, 52 hits and a minus-16 rating while holding onto a top-six role.

Nikita Kucherov RW | TB
Lightning's Nikita Kucherov: Third four-point game in last five
Kucherov had a goal and three assists in a 4-3 win over the Sabres on Tuesday.
It was Kucherov's second-straight four-point game and third in his last five games. He extended his point streak to nine games and 23 points (six goals, 17 assists). Kucherov is third in the NHL in points (90) behind Connor McDavid and Nathan MacKinnon, but he's first in points-per-game (1.80).

Matthew Knies LW | TOR
Maple Leafs' Matthew Knies: Pair of points in win
Knies scored a goal and added a power-play assist in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Oilers.
Knies snapped a three-game dry spell with his two-point effort. He had three multi-point performances over 16 contests in January, totaling nine points and a minus-11 rating in a rather lackluster month. The winger is up to 14 goals, 46 points, 104 shots on net, 111 hits, 21 PIM and a minus-11 rating across 54 games this season. He's currently seeing middle-six minutes, but with his power-play role intact, Knies should continue to offer multi-category upside.

Matias Maccelli LW | TOR
Maple Leafs' Matias Maccelli: Tallies twice in win
Maccelli scored two goals on four shots and blocked two shots in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Oilers.
Maccelli opened the scoring at 7:12 of the second period, and he added a power-play marker in the third. The 25-year-old has opened February with three goals over two games after scoring just twice with six assists over 16 contests in January. The playmaking winger is up to 10 goals, 24 points, 58 shots on net and a minus-12 rating over 46 appearances. He won't come near the 57-point output he had in 2023-24 with the Coyotes, but he could challenge the 17-goal total he had that year.

Anthony Stolarz G | TOR
Maple Leafs' Anthony Stolarz: Sharp in Tuesday's win
Stolarz stopped 34 of 36 shots in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Oilers.
Stolarz picked up his first win in three outings since he returned from an upper-body injury. The 32-year-old netminder looked to be in his 2024-25 form for this one, as he struggled even before his long-term absence this season. He's now 7-7-1 with a 3.55 GAA and an .882 save percentage over 16 starts. The Maple Leafs come out of the Olympic break with a back-to-back against division rivals -- they visit the Lightning on Feb. 25 and then face the Panthers a day later, so Stolarz and Joseph Woll will likely each get a start in that two-game sequence.

Yegor Chinakhov RW | PIT
Penguins' Yegor Chinakhov: Tallies again Tuesday
Chinakhov scored a goal on three shots in Tuesday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Islanders.
Chinakhov has scored in five of his last seven games, adding two assists and 18 shots on net in that span. The 25-year-old continues to thrive on the Penguins' second line even though his overall usage is still occasionally limited. Chinakhov is up to 11 goals, 17 points, 71 shots on net, 38 hits and a minus-2 rating over 46 appearances between Pittsburgh and Columbus this season.

Anthony Mantha RW | PIT
Penguins' Anthony Mantha: Reaches 20-goal mark
Mantha scored a goal on two shots in Tuesday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Islanders.
Mantha has surged to the 20-goal mark for the season, netting six tallies and adding six assists over his last 10 games. The winger opened the scoring Tuesday. He's 41 points, 104 shots on net, 31 hits, 26 blocked shots and a plus-13 rating over 55 appearances. Mantha has never reached the 50-point mark in a season, coming as close as 48 in his first two full NHL campaigns, but he's on pace for a career year in 2025-26.

Bryan Rust RW | PIT
Penguins' Bryan Rust: Scores in return from suspension
Rust scored a goal in Tuesday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Islanders.
Rust sat out the last three games to serve a suspension for his illegal check to the head on the Canucks' Brock Boeser on Jan. 25. The 33-year-old Rust immediately resumed his usual top-line role and netted a second-period goal to put the Penguins ahead 3-2. He had a tough January with five points over 11 outings, but he's up to 19 goals, 40 points, 126 shots on net, 52 blocked shots and a minus-1 rating through 48 appearances this season.
