Alexis Cournoyer G | MON
Canadiens' Alexis Cournoyer: Honored by conference again
Cournoyer earned ECAC Rookie of the Week honors Monday.
Cournoyer has been excellent for Cornell University this season. He's been named the ECAC's Rookie of the Week three times in 2025-26, as well as one honor as Goalie of the Week. For the season, he is 13-4-0 with a 1.84 GAA and a .923 save percentage in 17 appearances. It'll be a while before he's an option for the Canadiens, but he's looking like a good fifth-round pick after being taken 145th overall in 2025.

Dylan Coghlan D | LV
Golden Knights' Dylan Coghlan: Optioned to minors
Coghlan was assigned to AHL Henderson on Tuesday.
The Golden Knights now have only six healthy blueliners on their roster, so this move may have been made to allow Coghlan to get some games in with the minor-league club, as the AHL will not be on hiatus during the 2026 Winter Olympics. The right-shot blueliner has gotten into just two games with the big club this season.

Tanner Laczynski C | LV
Golden Knights' Tanner Laczynski: Reassigned to AHL
Laczynski was loaned to AHL Henderson on Tuesday.
Vegas recalled Kai Uchacz from the minors in a corresponding move. Laczynski has two assists, 12 shots on goal, five blocked shots and two hits in nine NHL appearances this season. He also has 13 goals and 36 points in 33 AHL outings during the 2025-26 campaign.

Brandon Carlo D | TOR
Maple Leafs' Brandon Carlo: Chips in with helper
Carlo logged an assist and two blocked shots in Monday's 4-2 win over the Flames.
Carlo has put up three helpers in 15 appearances since he returned from foot surgery. He's up to five assists, 38 shots on net, 64 blocked shots, 33 hits and a plus-3 rating over 33 outings this season. Carlo is in a top-four role as a shutdown defenseman for the Maple Leafs, but he has limited scoring upside.

Troy Stecher D | TOR
Maple Leafs' Troy Stecher: Scores in Monday's win
Stecher scored a goal on four shots and blocked three shots in Monday's 4-2 win over the Flames.
Stecher, who saw 20 games with the Flames in 2022-23, scored the game-winning tally at 9:10 of the second period in this contest. He recorded four points, 24 blocked shots, 24 shots on net and a minus-4 rating over 16 outings in January. For the season, the veteran defenseman is at three goals, 11 points, 45 shots on net, 47 blocks and a plus-7 rating in 37 appearances. This is his best season on offense in three years, and it's earned him steady top-four minutes for Toronto.

Bobby McMann C | SEA
Maple Leafs' Bobby McMann: Deposits empty-netter
McMann scored an empty-net goal and added two hits in Monday's 4-2 win over the Flames.
McMann has gotten on the scoresheet in five of the last six games, totaling three goals and three helpers in that span. He put the cherry on top of Monday's win in Calgary. McMann has a good thing going on the top line, which is where he's typically been most productive over the last couple of years. He's produced 18 goals, 31 points, 111 shots on net, 122 hits and 30 PIM through 55 outings this season.

Joel Hanley D | CGY
Flames' Joel Hanley: Picks up assist Monday
Hanley notched an assist and three blocked shots in Monday's 4-2 loss to the Maple Leafs.
Hanley ended a month-long point drought with the helper on a Nazem Kadri goal. During that 15-game slump, Hanley had 10 hits, 13 blocks and a minus-5 rating. The 34-year-old defenseman is still firmly in a third-pairing role, but he could face challenges for playing time as the Flames look to get Zayne Parekh and Hunter Brzustewicz some on-the-job experience. Hanley is at seven assists, 29 shots on net, 27 PIM, 34 hits, 66 blocked shots and a minus-4 rating through 52 appearances this season.

Conor Garland RW | CLB
Canucks' Conor Garland: Records two assists in loss
Garland logged two assists in Monday's 6-2 loss to the Mammoth.
After a five-game absence due to an undisclosed injury, Garland went another 11 contests without a point. He broke the slump by setting up tallies by Liam Ohgren and Teddy Blueger in Monday's loss. Garland still has 24 points, 94 shots on net, 27 hits, 25 blocked shots, 30 PIM and a minus-13 rating over 45 appearances this season. Few Canucks have much upside at this point in the campaign, but Garland could be poised to bounce back after his lengthy dry spell, and he has the talent to do so.

Liam Ohgren LW | VAN
Canucks' Liam Ohgren: Lights lamp Monday
Ohgren scored a goal on two shots in Monday's 6-2 loss to the Mammoth.
Ohgren has a goal and two assists over his last five games. He saw a season-high 17:53 of ice time Monday, which suggests he's building some trust with the Canucks despite remaining in a third-line role. He's at eight points, 54 shots on net, 52 hits, 24 blocked shots and a minus-4 rating over 43 appearances between Vancouver and Minnesota this season, though all of his points have come in 25 outings with the Canucks.

Dylan Guenther RW | UTA
Mammoth's Dylan Guenther: Logs helper Monday
Guenther notched an assist, three shots on goal and a minus-2 rating in Monday's 6-2 win over the Canucks.
This was Guenther's first point since a two-game absence due to a lower-body injury. The 22-year-old winger's ice time has been a little down since he returned, so it's possible he's not at 100 percent and will need to rest up during the Olympic break. He's up to 24 goals, 22 assists, 174 shots on net, 43 hits and a plus-6 rating through 54 appearances in a middle-six role this season.
