  • Roman Josi D | NSH

Predators' Roman Josi: Four helpers in comeback win

Josi collected four assists, one on the power play, in Monday's 6-5 win over the Blues.

The Predators were facing a 5-1 deficit early in the second period, but Josi helped spark a comeback with his season-high four assists. The veteran blueliner has delivered six multi-point performances in the last 11 games, a scoring surge in which he's piled up five goals and 19 points, including two goals and seven assists with the man advantage.

  • Predators' Justus Annunen: Picks up win in relief

Annunen turned aside all 13 shots he faced after replacing Juuse Saros early in the second period Monday, recording the win in a 6-5 victory over the Blues.

The Predators were staring at a 5-1 deficit when the goalie switch was made, but Annunen stood tall as his teammates put together a remarkable comeback. A seven-goal disaster in Vegas on Jan. 17 still mars his numbers, but that's the only outing Annunen's had since the beginning of December in which he's allowed more than three goals. Over that stretch, he's gone 4-2-1 in nine appearances with a 2.45 GAA and a .918 save percentage. With Nashville trying to stay in the playoff picture, Annunen could begin to push a struggling Saros for playing time.

  • Ivan Demidov RW | MON

Canadiens' Ivan Demidov: Finds twine Monday

Demidov scored a goal in Monday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Wild.

Demidov tallied the second consecutive goal for the Canadiens to tie Monday's contest at two apiece late in the second period. With the twine finder, he is up to 12 goals, 46 points and 81 shots on net across 56 outings this season. The 20-year-old winger has 10 points across his last 11 games, which has kept him firmly in the conversation for this season's Calder Trophy. Regardless, his rookie campaign has been highlighted by exceptional offense, which has helped keep the Habs in a playoff spot in a competitive Atlantic Division.

  • Juuse Saros G | NSH

Predators' Juuse Saros: Gets hook against St. Louis

Saros gave up five goals on 21 shots before being replaced by Justus Annunen early in the second period of Monday's 6-5 win over the Blues.

Three St. Louis goals in the first four minutes of the second frame spelled the end for Saros, but the move paid off for Nashville as the home squad somehow rallied from a 5-1 deficit. It still continued a tough stretch for Saros in which he's allowed at least three goals in eight straight outings, going 4-2-1 with a 4.11 GAA and an .877 save percentage over that span.

  • Maple Leafs' Matias Maccelli: Pots goal vs. Calgary

Maccelli scored a goal in Monday's 4-2 win over the Flames.

Maccelli scored a goal for the first time since Jan. 10, when he found the twine in a 5-0 victory over the Canucks. Maccelli has 22 points (eight goals, 14 assists) in 45 contests this season, so he's not expected to be a massive fantasy contributor any time soon -- even if he finds a way to crack the scoresheet from time to time.

  • Maple Leafs' William Nylander: Three points in win

Nylander recorded a goal, two assists, three shots on goal and a plus-1 rating in Monday's 4-2 win over the Flames.

Playing in just his second game since returning from a seven-game absence due to a groin injury, Nylander made his presence felt and was involved in three of the team's four goals. Nylander should remain a key player for the Maple Leafs now that he's healthy. The 29-year-old playmaker is averaging well over a point per game with 51 points (18 goals, 33 assists) in 39 contests.

  • Canadiens' Brendan Gallagher: Lights lamp in loss

Gallagher tallied a goal and fired two shots on net in Monday's 4-3 overtime loss to Minnesota.

Gallagher deked past Quinn Hughes before depositing the puck past Filip Gustavsson for Montreal's first goal of the game. With the twine finder, Gallagher is up to five goals, 16 points, 93 shots on net and 66 hits across 56 games this season. Monday's tally snapped his eight-game stretch without a goal and was his third of the calendar year. While he's slowed down as a playmaker, he's begun to find his scoring touch as of late, which could elevate Gallagher down the stretch. He's reached the double-digit mark for goals 11 times in his 14-year career and has a solid chance to do so again by the end of the regular season.

  • Joseph Woll G | TOR

Maple Leafs' Joseph Woll: Earns win vs. Calgary

Woll stopped 28 of 30 shots in Monday's 4-2 win over the Flames.

Woll was beaten twice over a 2:31 span in the second period, but Toronto provided him enough support on offense to hand him a second straight win -- something he hadn't achieved since a three-game winning run between Jan. 6 and Jan. 12. Woll has posted uneven numbers since the calendar flipped to 2026, going 5-3-3 with a 3.36 GAA and an .896 save percentage in 12 appearances. Fantasy managers will have to wait to see Woll on the net once again since Anthony Stolarz will get the start against the Oilers on Tuesday.

  • Blues' Philip Broberg: Two-point effort Monday

Broberg scored a goal and added an assist in Monday's 6-5 loss to the Predators.

It was the first multi-point performance for Broberg since Dec. 11, when he picked up two assists -- a game that also took place in Nashville. The 24-year-old blueliner has contributed three goals, 18 points, 78 blocked shots and 71 shots on net through 55 games this season.

  • Nick Paul C | TB

Lightning's Nick Paul: Won't play until after Olympics

Paul sustained an undisclosed injury during Sunday's 6-5 shootout win over the Bruins and has been ruled out for the Lightning's last two games prior to the Olympic break, Erik Erlendsson of LightningInsider.com reports Tuesday.

Paul's first chance to return to the lineup will be in the first half of a back-to-back set Feb. 25 against Toronto. The Olympic break will be coming at a good time for the Lightning, as their center depth has taken a hit from injuries. Paul has six goals, 12 points, 48 shots, 42 hits and a minus-10 rating over 34 appearances this season.
