    Rangers' Brett Berard: Sent to minors

    Berard was reassigned to AHL Hartford on Saturday.

    Vincent Iorio was claimed off waivers from San Jose in a corresponding move. Berard has no points, six PIM, 10 shots, 17 hits and nine blocks in 13 appearances with the Rangers in 2025-26.

  • Sharks' Shakir Mukhamadullin: Set to play

    Mukhamadullin (upper body) will be removed from injured reserve ahead of his return to the lineup against Calgary on Saturday, per Sheng Peng of San Jose Hockey Now.

    After missing the last 11 games, Mukhamadullin will replace Timothy Liljegren in Saturday's lineup against the Flames. The 24-year-old Mukhamadullin has registered two goals, four assists, 18 shots on net, 27 blocked shots and 11 hits in 23 appearances this season.

  • Sharks' Philipp Kurashev: Ready to rock

    Kurashev (upper body) will be activated from injured reserve ahead of his return to the lineup against Calgary on Saturday, Sheng Peng of San Jose Hockey Now reports.

    Following a 19-game absence, Kurashev will replace Pavol Regenda in Saturday's lineup. The 26-year-old Kurashev has generated six goals, 15 points, 49 shots on net and 30 hits in 31 appearances this season.

  • Kraken's Berkly Catton: Won't play before Olympic break

    Catton (upper body) will miss Seattle's final three games before the Olympic break, the team announced Saturday.

    Catton left Thursday's 5-2 win over Toronto because of the injury. He has five goals and 11 points in 40 appearances in 2025-26. Seattle's last three games before the break are Saturday in Vegas, Tuesday in Anaheim and Wednesday in Los Angeles.

  • Mammoth's Karel Vejmelka: Set to face Dallas

    Vejmelka was the first goalie off the ice at the morning skate, Cole Bagley of KSL Sports reports, indicating he will patrol the home crease against the Stars on Saturday.

    Vejmelka has lost his last two outings, including a 28-save effort in Thursday's 5-4 loss to Carolina. He has a 25-13-2 record this campaign with a 2.62 GAA, an .899 save percentage and one shutout through 41 appearances. Dallas sits 11th in the league this season with 3.28 goals per game.

  • Rangers' Vincent Iorio: Claimed off waivers

    Iorio was claimed off waivers by the Rangers from San Jose on Saturday, per Chris Johnston of The Athletic.

    Iorio had three assists, 12 PIM, 10 shots, 11 hits and 32 blocks in 21 outings with the Sharks in 2025-26 before being waived. The Rangers are missing Adam Fox (lower body), so they could use the added defensive depth that Iorio provides. Even so, there's no guarantee Iorio will get into the lineup.

    Nedeljkovic will defend the visiting goal in Calgary on Saturday, according to Sheng Peng of San Jose Hockey Now.

    Nedeljkovic has won five straight games, allowing 10 goals on 144 shots. His outstanding play of late has boosted his record to 10-8-2 with a 2.87 GAA and an .899 save percentage across 23 outings in 2025-26. The Flames are the lowest-scoring team in the NHL this season, averaging a measly 2.47 goals per game.

    Panthers' Brad Marchand: Ruled out Saturday

    Marchand (undisclosed) will miss Saturday's game versus Winnipeg, Jameson Olive of the Panthers' official site reports.

    Marchand was forced to leave Thursday's contest versus St. Louis in the third period. Marchand is having a stellar season with the Panthers, tallying 25 goals and 25 assists in 45 appearances. Marchand should be considered day-to-day at this time.

  • Penguins' Stuart Skinner: Defending crease Saturday

    Skinner will protect the home net against the Rangers on Saturday, according to Michelle Crechiolo of the Penguins' official site.

    Skinner has won his last four outings while stopping 99 of the 108 shots he has faced. Since being acquired by the Penguins from the Oilers on Dec. 12, he has gone 7-4-0 with a 2.31 GAA and a .906 save percentage in 11 appearances. The Rangers rank 27th in the league with 2.62 goals per game this season.

  • Panthers' Anton Lundell: Not available Saturday

    Lundell (upper body) has been ruled out of Saturday's tilt against Winnipeg, according to Jameson Olive of the Panthers' official site.

    Lundell will miss his second straight game. The center has 15 goals and 21 assists across 52 appearances this season. He could return as early as Monday when the Panthers face Buffalo in Florida.
