Malkin (undisclosed) will be a game-time decision against the Rangers on Saturday, per Michelle Crechiolo of the Penguins' official site.

Malkin was absent from Friday's practice and could miss Saturday's contest. He has produced 13 goals, 96 shots on net and 41 points across 37 appearances this season.

Bobrovsky will defend the home goal versus Winnipeg on Saturday, per Jameson Olive of the Panthers' official site.

Jarry will patrol the home crease against Minnesota on Saturday, per Tony Brar of Oilers TV.

Suter (ankle) was activated from injured reserve Saturday.

Following a 15-game absence, Suter is poised to return to the lineup against Columbus on Saturday. He has contributed seven goals, 14 points, 62 shots on net and 29 hits through 37 appearances this season.

Toews (upper body) won't play against Detroit on Saturday, per the NHL media site.

Toews is day-to-day now after being considered week-to-week, but he will miss his 13th straight outing. He has accounted for one goal, 13 points, 68 shots on net, 58 blocked shots and a plus-26 rating across 40 appearances this season.

Necas (lower body) won't play against Detroit on Saturday, Aarif Dean of Colorado Hockey Now reports.

Necas is day-to-day and will miss at least one game. He has compiled 22 goals, 62 points, 124 shots on net and 57 hits across 52 appearances this season. Taylor Makar will draw into Saturday's lineup due to Necas' absence.

Blackwood will defend the road net against the Red Wings on Saturday.

Blackwood has lost three of his last four outings while allowing 15 goals on 101 shots. He has a 14-4-1 record with a 2.44 GAA, a .909 save percentage and two shutouts in 19 appearances this season. Detroit ranks 18th in the league with 3.07 goals per game this campaign.

Contrary to an earlier report, Wedgewood will not start in Detroit on Saturday, Ansar Khan of MLive.com reports.

Mackenzie Blackwood will get the start instead of Wedgewood. Wedgewood is expected to get one start next week, as the Avalanche play a pair of home games against the Red Wings on Monday and Sharks on Wednesday.
