Kokko is 1-1-0 with five goals allowed on 56 shots over the last two games while he fills in at the NHL level. This will be his third straight start, and he could go again Thursday versus the Avalanche if Joey Daccord (lower body) and Philipp Grubauer (lower body) both remain out.

Schwartz's injury could also keep him out of Thursday's season finale versus the Avalanche. The 33-year-old winger has been limited to 26 points in 50 appearances this season, his lowest totals in both areas in the last four years. Jani Nyman is likely to play in Schwartz's absence.

Mangiapane (lower body) won't play Wednesday versus the Sharks, Ben Pope of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
Mangiapane will miss a second straight game to close out the campaign. The 30-year-old ends the year with 16 points, 58 shots on net, 65 hits and a minus-21 rating over 62 appearances between Chicago and Edmonton. He is under contract for 2026-27, but he is at risk of getting passed over by the Blackhawks' prospects.

Hyman was initially labeled doubtful to play Thursday, but he's apparently feeling well enough to get back in action before the playoffs. The 33-year-old winger will likely slot into a top-six role and see power-play time.

Samuelsson (rest) is out of the lineup Wednesday versus the Stars, Heather Engel of NHL.com reports.
Samuelsson certainly earned some rest after producing 13 goals and 41 points over 78 outings in a breakout campaign. He also set career highs with 154 blocked shots, 132 hits, a plus-41 rating and 109 shots on goal. Samuelsson should be in his usual top-pairing role for Game 1 of the playoffs versus the Bruins.

Zucker won't play in the regular-season finale, ending the campaign at 45 points (16 on the power play) in 62 appearances. The 34-year-old winger should be fine for Game 1 against the Bruins. He'll be a top-six option and a power-play producer during the postseason.
