Alexandre Carrier D | MON
Canadiens' Alexandre Carrier: Nets goal Thursday
Carrier scored a goal on two shots and blocked two shots in Thursday's 7-3 win over the Avalanche.
Carrier has five goals over his last nine outings. That's a solid rate for any player, and especially a shutdown defenseman. For the season, he's at six goals, 17 points, 46 shots on net, 121 blocked shots, 22 PIM and a minus-5 rating over 54 appearances. Carrier continues to have appeal in deeper fantasy formats, especially while he's being productive on offense.

Noah Dobson D | MON
Canadiens' Noah Dobson: Opens scoring in win
Dobson scored a goal on five shots, added two hits, blocked two shots and went plus-2 in Thursday's 7-3 win over the Avalanche.
Dobson has put up six points, a plus-6 rating and 27 blocked shots over his last 11 games. The defenseman tallied the opening goal just 56 seconds into Thursday's win, setting the tone for an impressive performance for the Canadiens. He's reached the 10-goal mark for the fifth year in a row while adding 23 assists, 106 shots on net, 133 blocked shots and a plus-7 rating over 54 appearances.

Ivan Barbashev LW | LV
Golden Knights' Ivan Barbashev: Tickles twine Thursday
Barbashev scored a goal on four shots and added three hits in Thursday's 5-4 shootout loss to the Stars.
Barbashev started the game in a third-line role, though he was on with the top line when he scored at 13:54 of the third period. The winger has typically played on the top line for much of the season, but he got shuffled down in part due to a 16-game goal drought that came to an end Thursday. Barbashev is up to 13 goals, 36 points, 78 shots on net, 85 hits, 27 blocked shots and a plus-9 rating over 53 appearances. He should continue to offer decent offense with a physical edge.

Reilly Smith RW | LV
Golden Knights' Reilly Smith: Sparks comeback with shortie
Smith scored a shorthanded goal in Thursday's 5-4 shootout loss to the Stars.
Smith set the Golden Knights on the comeback trail with his goal at 4:04 of the third period, the first of the team's three tallies in the frame. This ended a 10-game goal drought for Smith, a span in which he had just two assists. He's up to nine goals, seven helpers, 55 shots on net, 19 hits and a minus-11 rating over 49 appearances. He got a top-line look to start this game, but Smith has most often filled a bottom-six role and will be pressed by Ivan Barbashev for the spot alongside Jack Eichel.

Keegan Kolesar RW | LV
Golden Knights' Keegan Kolesar: Collects pair of points
Kolesar scored a goal on two shots, added an assist and logged five hits in Thursday's 5-4 shootout loss to the Stars.
Kolesar is up to five goals this season, four of which have come in his last eight games. He's added two assists in that span, which corresponds with a recent move onto the third line. Kolesar is at 14 points, 48 shots on net, 182 hits, 42 PIM and a minus-11 rating over 53 appearances for the season.

Mitchell Marner RW | LV
Golden Knights' Mitch Marner: Earns two points in shootout loss
Marner scored a goal on two shots and added an assist in Thursday's 5-4 shootout loss to the Stars.
Marner snapped a three-game skid with this performance, which saw him move back to center between Pavel Dorofeyev and Braeden Bowman. The 28-year-old Marner has six multi-point efforts over his last 13 outings as he remains a big part of the Golden Knights' offense. For the season, he's at 13 goals, 54 points, 104 shots on net, 34 blocked shots and a plus-12 rating through 53 appearances.

Adin Hill G | LV
Golden Knights' Adin Hill: Another poor outing
Hill stopped 23 of 27 shots in Thursday's 5-4 shootout loss to the Stars.
Hill is now 2-2-1 over five games since he returned from a lower-body injury. He's allowed 21 goals in that span, with the Stars' top six rallying for three goals during the second period to turn this performance upside down for the netminder. He's now at a 3-2-3 record with a 3.56 GAA and an .855 save percentage over 10 appearances. The Golden Knights' defense tends to limit shots against, so Hill's save percentage is likely to remain quite low as long as he's regularly leaking three or more goals. He won't have to wait long for his next start -- the Golden Knights host the Kraken on Saturday before visiting the Ducks on Sunday for a weekend back-to-back set, which will likely see Hill and Akira Schmid split the starts.

Sam Steel C | DAL
Stars' Sam Steel: Supplies pair of assists
Steel notched two assists and two shots on goal in Thursday's 5-4 shootout win over the Golden Knights.
Steel has three helpers over his last two games. The 27-year-old forward has struggled with consistency at times this season, but he remains a versatile part of the Stars' offense. He's at 22 points, 61 shots on net, 55 hits, 23 blocked shots, 20 PIM and a minus-2 rating over 54 appearances. Steel is on track to surpass his career high of 28 points in 65 games from the 2022-23 campaign with the Wild.

Jamie Benn LW | DAL
Stars' Jamie Benn: Provides pair of helpers
Benn logged two assists and two blocked shots in Thursday's 5-4 shootout win over the Golden Knights.
Benn had gone a month without getting on the scoresheet, coming up empty in 12 games while missing three contests due to an upper-body injury. The 36-year-old forward has been firmly in a bottom-six role since his return, though he's still a factor on the second power-play unit. Benn has 16 points, 42 shots on net, 42 hits, 21 PIM and a plus-8 rating over 32 appearances this season.

Matt Duchene C | DAL
Stars' Matt Duchene: Strikes early in shootout win
Duchene scored a goal in Thursday's 5-4 shootout win over the Golden Knights.
Duchene has four goals over the last three games. The 35-year-old looks to be getting some positive regression after struggling to find the net earlier in the season. He's now at eight goals, 15 points, 42 shots on net and a minus-6 rating over 29 appearances in a middle-six role.
