- The Mariners won't trade Felix Hernandez, but Jason Vargas and Kevin Millwood could be in play. Olney mentions the Nationals as a destination for Millwood once they shut down Stephen Strasburg. The Mariners will also listen to offers for Chone Figgins and Brandon League.
- The Athletics will listen to offers for Brandon McCarthy, Kurt Suzuki, Bartolo Colon and Grant Balfour.
- The Angels could be in the market for a starting pitcher, but Olney doesn't think it will be Zack Greinke or Cole Hamels. Olney mentions McCarthy, Colon and Millwood as good fits for the Angels.
- The Indians need a right-handed bat, and should take a look at Carlos Quentin. They were major players for Kevin Youkilis before he was dealt to the White Sox.
- The White Sox could use a stop-gap starter, like Millwood, if they want to give Chris Sale some rest. The White Sox have already put out some calls for help in the bullpen.
- The Tigers could use a second baseman, but there really aren't many strong ones on the market. They could make a play for Huston Street to shore up their bullpen.
- The Blue Jays will assess their situation at the All-Star break, but Olney thinks they'll be sellers. Edwin Encarnacion could be an attractive piece, particularly to the Indians.
- The Orioles will look for pitching, but they won't make any major deals.
- The Twins will take calls on Francisco Liriano, Josh Willingham and Denard Span. They really need starting pitching.
- The Yankees are waiting until their needs are more defined. They could go after an outfielder depending on Brett Gardner's status.
