Astros' Carlos Correa: Sitting out season finale
Correa is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Angels.
With Houston having been officially eliminated from playoff contention following Saturday's action, Correa and other key regulars will sit for the season finale. Ramon Urias will step in at third base in place of Correa, who rebounded with a .290/.355/.430 slash line, six home runs, 21 RBI and 23 runs in 51 games with the Astros after being acquired from the Twins on July 31.

Astros' Carlos Correa: Scores twice in win
Correa went 2-for-4 with two runs scored Wednesday against the Rangers.
Correa singled in each of his first two plate appearances and came around to score on each occasion. He has at least one hit in 14 of his 16 starts in September, hitting .294 with three homers, six RBI and 10 runs scored in that span.

Astros' Carlos Correa: Records 200th career homer
Correa went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Wednesday's 3-2 win over Toronto.
Correa blasted his 13th homer of the season and the 200th of his excellent career. The slugging infielder now has at least one hit in eight of his first nine outings in September. Correa had a middling .705 OPS for the Twins this year, but he's slashing .297/.354/.455 with six long balls, five doubles, 19 RBI and 18 runs scored over 158 plate appearances for the Astros to improve his OPS to .737 for the campaign.

Astros' Carlos Correa: Pops 12th homer
Correa went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run and a walk Tuesday against the Blue Jays.
Correa popped his home run in the first inning, bringing his total on the season to 12. He's hit well recently, recording at least one hit in seven of his last eight starts while hitting .278 with two homers, five RBI and five runs scored. Correa continues to hit in a premium spot in the Houston lineup, and he hit third Tuesday night while flipping spots with Jose Altuve.
