Vikings' Kyler Murray: Will start Week 3
Murray has cleared concussion protocol and will return to the starting lineup Sunday against the Buccaneers, Tom Pelissero of Netflix reports.
Murray was concussed 11 snaps into his regular-season Vikings debut in Week 1 against the Packers and missed this past Sunday's win over the Bears. His return to the lineup will send Carson Wentz back to the bench as the QB2 after he completed 23 of 39 passes (59 percent) for 276 yards (7.1 YPA) and three touchdowns with no interceptions across the last two weeks against Green Bay and Chicago. Murray's return and Wentz's retreat to backup duties doesn't change much for the Minnesota pass catchers from a fantasy perspective.

Vikings' Kyler Murray: Should be available Week 3
Murray has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Bears, but he's expected to clear concussion protocol next week and is "on track" to play Sept. 27 at Tampa Bay, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Carson Wentz will draw the start for Minnesota in Week 2, after he came on in relief of a concussed Murray in the season opener and helped lead the Vikings to a come-from-behind 39-22 win over the Packers. Murray was already able to take some steps forward in his recovery from the concussion by practicing in a limited fashion Wednesday through Friday, but he'll still need to upgrade to full participation and receive clearance from an independent neurologist before he's officially removed from the protocol.

Vikings' Kyler Murray: Ruled out for Sunday's game
Murray (concussion) won't play in Sunday's contest at Chicago.
In Murray's stead, coach Kevin O'Connell said that Carson Wentz will start Week 2, while J.J. McCarthy will serve as the backup QB, per Dane Mizutani of the St. Paul Pioneer Press. As for Murray, O'Connell relayed to Kevin Seifert of ESPN.com that Murray is expected to clear the concussion protocol next week, meaning he has a good chance to be under center at Tampa Bay on Sunday, Sept. 27.

Vikings' Kyler Murray: Practicing again Friday
Murray (concussion) was present for the start of Friday's practice, Kevin Seifert of ESPN.com reports.
This marks three consecutive practices for Murray in the wake of suffering a concussion during a Week 1 win against the Packers, though in the first two Wednesday and Thursday, he was a limited participant in both. Even if Murray logs a full practice Friday, he'll still need to gain clearance from an independent neurologist to be able to play Sunday at Chicago. If that doesn't happen, Murray will yield starting duties to backup QB Carson Wentz.
