Rodriguez has gone 6-for-16 over four games since he was dropped to fifth in the batting order. The outfielder was one of five Mariners to collect at least three hits in Saturday's onslaught of offense. For the season, Rodriguez is batting .243 with a .701 OPS, 21 home runs, 65 RBI, 68 runs scored, 22 doubles and 20 stolen bases over 138 contests, putting him in line for the worst year of his career in most categories.

Mariners' Julio Rodriguez: Clubs clutch three-run homer
Rodriguez went 1-for-3 with a three-run home run in Thursday's 4-3 win over the Rangers.
Jacob deGrom dominated Texas over the first six innings of Thursday's matchup, but Seattle pounced in the seventh following deGrom's departure. Rodriguez came up with the big hit in that frame, belting a three-run shot to left-center field to turn a 3-1 deficit into a 4-3 lead. The long ball snapped a 14-game homerless stretch for Rodriguez, and he had been ice cold during that span, slashing just .153/.180/.203 with a 27.9 percent strikeout rate. He did steal four bases during that stretch, however, and with 21 homers and 20 thefts on the campaign, Rodriguez is one of seven big leaguers to reach the 20/20 mark to this point in the season.

Rodriguez went 1-for-4 with a double, a walk, a run, two RBI and three stolen bases in a loss to the Athletics on Thursday.
Rodriguez plated Seattle's first run with a double in the first inning and added another RBI on a fielder's choice groundout in the sixth. However, his most impactful production from a fantasy perspective was the three stolen bases he tallied over the course of the contest. The trio of thefts pushed Rodriguez up to 20 steals this season -- a mark he's now reached in each of his first five MLB campaigns. Per MLB, he's the first player in league history to log both 20 stolen bases and 20 homers in five consecutive seasons to begin a career.

Rodriguez went 2-for-5 with a three-run home run and an additional run scored Monday in a 9-2 victory versus the Phillies.
Rodriguez helped Seattle get off to a fast start with a three-run blast off Zack Wheeler in the first inning. The long ball snapped a 10-game homerless stretch during which he batted just .159 (7-for-44) with only one RBI and a 1:17 BB:K. Rodriguez has gone 10-for-25 (.400) with two homers and two steals during his seven-game hitting streak. His blast Friday prevented the Mariners from getting shut out, but it came with two outs in the ninth inning. The Mariners pulled Rodriguez from Monday's game against the Reds as a precaution, Tim Booth of The Seattle Times reports.
Manager Dan Wilson stated after the game that the team isn't overly concerned about a potential strain, but Wilson did want to get Rodriguez out of the game after he was hit by the throw from shortstop. Rodriguez was removed during the sixth inning of Monday's game against the Reds for an unspecified reason, Adam Jude of The Seattle Times reports.
Rodriguez was struck by an errant throw on a play at first base in the bottom of the fifth inning and looked to grabbing at his left hamstring, per Jude, but the team has yet to provide an official update. Weston Wilson was deployed in right field and Victor Robles was bumped over to center in Rodriguez's place.

The Mariners reinstated Rodriguez from the 7-day injured list Saturday.
Rodriguez (concussion) is back from his brief absence on the 7-day IL, which began July 3. The 25-year-old adds a much-needed bat to Seattle's lineup, as he has slashed .259/.323/.424 with 14 homers and 40 RBI in 378 plate appearances this season. In order to make room for Rodriguez on the active roster, Seattle designated Miles Mastrobuoni for assignment. Rodriguez is in Saturday's lineup, batting second and acting as the designated hitter for Seattle.

Rodriguez (concussion) is not in the Mariners' starting lineup against the Giants on Friday.
Rodriguez has been on the 7-day injured list since July 3 after entering the league's concussion protocol. He's not quite ready to return following the All-Star break, but Mariners general manager Justin Hollander told reporters Friday that the hope is that Rodriguez is back in the lineup for Saturday's contest, per Tim Booth of The Seattle Times.
