Wisely went deep off Blake Walston in the third inning for the Giants' second three-run homer in the frame. The home run was Wisely's first since June 28 and his first extra-base hit since Aug. 31. The Giants elected to outright Thairo Estrada to Triple-A after he cleared waivers Friday, so Wisely will now come up from the minors to replenish San Francisco's infield depth. The 25-year-old has slashed .249/.285/.363 with 24 RBI across 215 plate appearances in the majors this year, though he's gone 10-for-37 with two homers and seven RBI since returning to Sacramento on Aug. 19. He could form a platoon at second base with the righty-hitting Casey Schmitt.

The Giants optioned Wisely to Triple-A Sacramento on Monday, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
San Francisco reinstated Thairo Estrada (wrist) from the 10-day injured list in a corresponding move. Wisely has been with the big club since May, but he saw his playing time diminish since the All-Star break while slashed .167/.207/.204 with six RBI across 56 plate appearances in the second half. Wisely should take back an everyday role as he returns to Sacramento.
