  • Red Sox's Raymond Burgos: Moves up from Triple-A

Boston recalled Burgos from Triple-A Worcester on Sunday. Burgos will join the big-league club for the second time this season, replacing the injured Justin Slaten (elbow) on the active roster. During his brief stint with Boston earlier this month, Burgos made a pair of relief appearances and gave up two earned runs while striking out four over six innings.

  • Red Sox's Raymond Burgos: Added to big-league bullpen

The Red Sox selected Burgos' contract from Triple-A Worcester on Friday. Boston burned through its bullpen in Thursday's extra-innings win over the White Sox, and Burgos is being summoned as a fresh arm. He's worked almost exclusively as a starter with Worcester but will provide long relief for the Red Sox. He's pitched to a 5.63 ERA, 1.63 WHIP and 52:26 K:BB across 64 innings at Triple-A.

  • Giants' Raymond Burgos: Back in San Francisco on MiLB deal

The Giants re-signed Burgos to a minor-league contract on Dec. 14. Burgos made one appearance for the Giants in 2024 before being removed from their 40-man roster, but he'll stick around in the organization on a minors pact. The 26-year-old posted a 1.69 ERA and 27:5 K:BB across 26.2 innings at Triple-A Sacramento in 2024.

  • Giants' Raymond Burgos: Outrighted to Triple-A

The Giants outrighted Burgos to Triple-A Sacramento on Monday, Andrew Baggarly of The Athletic reports. Burgos made just one appearance for San Francisco before losing his place on its 40-man roster. He will stick around in the organization after passing through waivers unclaimed.

  • Giants' Raymond Burgos: Selected by San Francisco

The Giants selected Burgos' contract from Triple-A Sacramento on Monday. The move corresponds with the Giants designating Trenton Brooks for assignment. In nine games with Sacramento this season, Burgos has a 1.64 ERA, 0.82 WHIP and 23:2 K:BB over 22 innings. The 25-year-old southpaw will work out of the Giants' bullpen, likely as a multi-inning reliever.
