Red Sox's Raymond Burgos: Optioned to Worcester
Boston optioned Burgos to Triple-A Worcester after Saturday's matchup with the Athletics, Christopher Smith of MassLive.com reports.
After being called up Friday, Burgos will head back to Worcester after two appearances with the big-league club. The 27-year-old pitched a scoreless three innings with two strikeouts on Friday against the A's en route to his first major league save. The southpaw recorded another three frames Saturday, allowing two runs while striking out two. Boston has yet to announce a corresponding move.

Giants' Raymond Burgos: Sent to minors camp
The Giants reassigned Burgos to minor-league camp Wednesday, Justice delos Santos of The San Jose Mercury News reports.
The lefty reliever reached the big leagues for the first time last June, giving up one earned run on three hits and one walk in one inning before the Giants booted him off the 40-man roster. He re-signed with the Giants on a minor-league deal over the winter and is expected to serve as bullpen depth at Triple-A Sacramento for the majority of the upcoming season.

Giants' Raymond Burgos: Designated for assignment
The Giants designated Burgos for assignment Wednesday, Andrew Baggarly of The Athletic reports.
In the span of just two days, Burgos has been selected from Triple-A, optioned back to the minors and now will lose his spot on the 40-man roster. The 25-year-old lefty gave up a run during his only MLB appearance Monday but sports a 1.64 ERA in Triple-A, which could spark some interest from other organizations in need of bullpen help. Hayden Birdsong was selected from Sacramento in a corresponding move.

Giants' Raymond Burgos: Sent back to minors
The Giants optioned Burgos to Triple-A Sacramento on Tuesday, Shayna Rubin of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Burgos' contract was selected from Triple-A on Monday, and he'll now head back to Sacramento after spending just 24 hours in the big leagues. He gave up an earned run on three hits and a walk over one inning in his MLB debut. The 25-year-old southpaw has turned in a 1.64 ERA and 0.82 WHIP through 22 frames in the minors, however, so a return to San Francisco later in the year is definitely possible. Mason Black was recalled in a corresponding move.

Giants' Raymond Burgos: Selected by San Francisco
The Giants selected Burgos' contract from Triple-A Sacramento on Monday.
The move corresponds with the Giants designating Trenton Brooks for assignment. In nine games with Sacramento this season, Burgos has a 1.64 ERA, 0.82 WHIP and 23:2 K:BB over 22 innings. The 25-year-old southpaw will work out of the Giants' bullpen, likely as a multi-inning reliever.
