Mark Bowman@mlbbowman1D agoThis was an encouraging outing for Ian Anderson. He walked two and allowed a hit after having to sit through the Braves' 9-run fifth. He pitched around a couple second-inning walks, but was otherwise consistently in the strike zone before encountering the long 5th inn wait. -
David O'Brien@DOBrienATL1D agoAfter looong #Braves 9-run 5th, Ian Anderson in a jam to start the bottom of 5th. I'm a little surprised they brought him back out, given the length of that half-inning, but obviously they wanted him to get in 5 if he could. Sanchez double, Urías walk, Holliday walk to start 5th. -
David O'Brien@DOBrienATL1D agoMichael Harris II has TWO homers in an eight-run fifth inning for #Braves. The center fielder had a quiet spring before today. First was against O's starter RH Dean Kremer, second was 3-run shot off RH Logan Rinehart, who had a brutal and brief (two outs) appearance.

David O'Brien@DOBrienATL1D agoSandy León 3-run homer (off RH Logan Rinehart) ups #Braves lead to 7-0 in 5th vs. O's. The 35-year-old catcher León has 4 hits in 12 ABs this spring, and 3 of them were homers. Ian Anderson has allowed just 1 hit, 2 walks so far today, continuing his strong spring.
