  • Mariners' Randy Arozarena: Placed on injured list

The Mariners placed Arozarena on the 10-day injured list Tuesday with left hamstring inflammation, Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times reports.

The Mariners originally anticipated Arozarena would return to the starting lineup as soon as Wednesday. However, an MRI on his hamstring revealed more inflammation than the team was expecting, so he will have to spend time on the injured list. Rob Refsnyder is a likely candidate to receive more playing time while Arozarena is out, and the Mariners will select Curtis Washington from High-A Everett to provide emergency bench depth.

  • Mariners' Randy Arozarena: Won't start Tuesday

Arozarena (hamstring) isn't in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Orioles, Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times reports.

Although Arozarena is set to miss a third straight start due to left hamstring soreness, general manager Justin Hollander said the 31-year-old could be available off the bench Tuesday and is likely to return to the starting nine Wednesday. In the meantime, Victor Robles, Julio Rodriguez and Dominic Canzone will form Seattle's outfield trio.

  • Mariners' Randy Arozarena: Remaining on bench Sunday

Arozarena (hamstring) is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Nationals.

Luke Raley will draw another start in left field while the Mariners keep Arozarena on the bench for a second straight game due to left hamstring soreness. Per MLB.com, Arozarena went through strength tests that indicated an MRI wouldn't be necessary, and he'll likely avoid a stint on the injured list. He'll benefit from a team off day Monday before the Mariners open a three-game home set versus the Orioles on Tuesday.

  • Mariners' Randy Arozarena: Out of Saturday's lineup

Arozarena (hamstring) isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Nationals.

Arozarena tweaked his hamstring while attempting to leg out an infield single in the third inning of Friday's contest. He'll now miss his first start of the season to allow his hamstring to recover, which will move Luke Raley to left field Saturday while Victor Robles starts in right. Arozarena said Friday that he expects to miss just a couple of days, per Adam Jude of The Seattle Times, so a trip to the IL may not be necessary.

  • Mariners' Randy Arozarena: Goes yard in 10th in Baltimore

Arozarena went 3-for-5 with a home run, two runs scored and three RBI in Tuesday's 6-5 extra-inning win over the Orioles.

After leading off the Mariners' three-run fourth inning with a single and coming around to score, and then bringing home another run in the seventh, Arozarena capped his big night with a two-run homer off Rico Garcia in the top of the 10th to finally put the game away. The veteran outfielder snapped a 12-game power drought with the performance, but he's come racing out of the gates in June, slashing .367/.472/.533 through the first eight games of the month with two doubles, three steals, five runs and seven RBI.

Arozarena went 1-for-3 with a two-run homer, three total runs scored and two stolen bases in Wednesday's 5-4 win over the White Sox.

It's Arozarena's fifth homer this season and just his second in his last 18 games, though he has gone 21-for-65 (.323) in that span. • Mariners' Randy Arozarena: Stays active on basepaths

Arozarena went 2-for-4 with a stolen base in Friday's 2-0 loss to the Padres.

Arozarena has gone 15-for-31 (.484) with four steals on five attempts over his last eight games. The outfielder's success at the plate is helping to fuel his work on the basepaths. He's successfully stolen 12 bases on 14 attempts this year, right in line with last year's 31-for-37 showing in steal attempts during the regular season. Arozarena has added four home runs, 16 RBI, 32 runs scored, 11 doubles and a triple while batting .305 with an .847 OPS. He's also sporting a .392 BABIP, which is 94 points higher than last year when he was held to a .238/.334/.426 regular-season slash line, so he's getting plenty of good luck in 2026.

  • Mariners' Randy Arozarena: Pops homer Friday

Arozarena went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's 7-6 loss to the Royals.

Arozarena had gone nine games without a long ball, though he had four doubles, a triple and two stolen bases in that span. The outfielder has been striking out a bit too much lately with 15 of them over his last 10 contests. Still, he's batting .288 with an .835 OPS, three homers, 12 RBI, 23 runs scored, seven stolen bases, nine doubles and one triple across 33 games on the year.

  • Rangers' MacKenzie Gore: Yields three homers in loss

Gore (2-2) allowed five runs on seven hits and a walk while striking out five over five innings to take the loss Sunday versus the Mariners.

Gore's control issues from his previous outing didn't return in this one, as he threw 61 of 90 pitches for strikes. However, the Mariners were able to tee off against him, beginning with Rob Refsnyder's solo shot to open the bottom of the first. J.P. Crawford and Randy Arozarena also had two-run blasts in the game, making it Gore's worst outing of the season in terms of runs allowed. The southpaw has been passable to open his Rangers tenure, posting a 4.15 ERA, 1.19 WHIP and 35:12 K:BB over 26 innings across his first five starts with his new team. The strikeout upside is there, but Gore's also carried a high walk rate often in his career, and this season's 4.2 BB/9 is an extension of that trend. His next start is projected to be at home versus the Athletics.
