Marlins' Graham Pauley: Sent down to Jacksonville
The Marlins optioned Pauley to Triple-A Jacksonville on Tuesday.
Pauley went 2-for-6 with two doubles, two RBI and a run scored after rejoining the Marlins on Friday, but he'll now be pushed back to the minors to make room for Liam Hicks' (back) return from the injured list. Javier Sanoja figures to receive the majority of starts at third base now that Pauley is back in Jacksonville.

Marlins' Graham Pauley: Back on bench with lefty starting
Pauley is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Rockies.
The Marlins will send Pauley and two other left-handed batters (Griffin Conine and Owen Caissie) to the bench while lefty Sean Sullivan toes the rubber for Colorado in the series opener. After being called up from Triple-A Jacksonville on Friday, Pauley started at third base in two of the Marlins' three matchups with right-handed pitchers in St. Louis over the weekend, going 2-for-6 with two doubles, two RBI and one run. He could occupy the strong side of a loose platoon at the hot corner with Javier Sanoja, who will occupy the position Monday.

Marlins' Graham Pauley: Makes impact in return to majors
Pauley went 1-for-4 with a double, a run scored and an RBI in Friday's win over the Cardinals.
Called back up from Triple-A Jacksonville earlier in the day, Pauley was immediately inserted into the starting nine at third base and hit ninth in the order. Prior to his promotion, the 25-year-old had a .259/.343/.500 slash line over his last 16 games for the Jumbo Shrimp with two homers and three steals, and Pauley has a clear path to claiming the full-time job at the hot corner with Connor Norby demoted to Triple-A and Javier Sanoja better suited for a utility role.

Marlins' Graham Pauley: Recalled from Triple-A
The Marlins recalled Pauley from Triple-A Jacksonville on Friday.
Pauley sports just a .165/.211/.271 batting line across 33 games during his time with the Marlins this season. Miami has received very little offensively from third base, so Pauley could get another chance there, but there's no guarantee he'll play regularly.

Marlins' Graham Pauley: Joining big-league roster
Pauley is expected to be called up from Triple-A Jacksonville on Friday, Kevin Barral of FishonFirst.com reports.
Pauley will return to the major-league roster after being optioned to Jacksonville on May 29. The 25-year-old posted a .246 average with nine extra-base hits, including two homers, while also adding 11 RBI, seven runs scored and three stolen bases over 17 contests at the Triple-A level following his demotion. Connor Norby is expected to be sent to Jacksonville in a corresponding move.

Marlins' Graham Pauley: Dispatched back to Triple-A
The Marlins optioned Pauley to Triple-A Jacksonville on Friday, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.
Pauley has not got on track offensively this season, slashing just .165/.211/.271 across 91 plate appearances. He will look to get his swing in order at Jacksonville, and the Marlins will go with a combination of Javier Sanoja, Leo Jimenez and Connor Norby at third base.

Marlins' Graham Pauley: Recalled from Triple-A
The Marlins recalled Pauley from Triple-A Jacksonville on Thursday, Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald reports.
Since being demoted to Triple-A two weeks ago, Pauley has gone 8-for-36 with three homers, six RBI, six runs scored and a steal over nine games. He'll now return to Miami to replace the injured Leo Jimenez (neck) as infield depth for the Marlins.

Marlins' Graham Pauley: Sent down to minors
The Marlins optioned Pauley to Triple-A Jacksonville on Thursday.
Pauley has slashed a lowly .173/.225/.293 with a pathetic 17.5 percent hard-hit rate this season, which wasn't enough to keep a regular role despite solid defense. With Pauley in the minors, Connor Norby should see more reps at third base for the Marlins.

Marlins' Graham Pauley: Exiting starting lineup
Pauley is not in the lineup for Wednesday's contest against the Orioles.
Pauley is 0-for-15 at the dish over his last six games to drop his season batting line to an ugly .173/.225/.293. He'll get a day to regroup while Connor Norby handles third base.

Marlins' Graham Pauley: Taking seat Sunday
Pauley is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Phillies.
The Marlins will shield the left-handed hitter from a matchup with tough southpaw Jesus Luzardo. Leo Jimenez will get the nod at third base in place of Pauley.

Marlins' Graham Pauley: Taking seat Monday
Pauley is not in the Marlins' starting lineup against the Dodgers on Monday.
Pauley will take a seat for Monday's series opener while Javier Sanoja mans the hot corner and bats eighth. Pauley has gone 5-for-10 with one home run and four RBI during his current four-game hitting streak.

Marlins' Graham Pauley: Clubs first homer in loss
Pauley went 1-for-3 with a three-run home run in Sunday's 6-3 loss against the Giants.
Pauley connected on his first homer of 2026, clubbing a Landen Roupp curveball over the right-field wall in the second inning to give the Marlins a 3-0 advantage, though they wouldn't score again and ultimately relinquished the lead. Pauley's .621 OPS through 64 plate appearances isn't much to write home about, though he's currently riding a four-game hitting streak and should continue to see sizable playing time at the hot corner against right-handed pitching.

Marlins' Graham Pauley: Sitting against righty
Pauley is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Cardinals.
The left-handed-hitting Pauley often sits versus southpaws, but he'll be heading to the bench Wednesday while right-hander Kyle Leahy starts for the Cardinals. Though Javier Sanoja will fill in at third base in the series finale, Pauley could face a greater threat from Connor Norby for reps at the hot corner once Christopher Morel (oblique) returns from the injured list. Morel had been in line to serve as the Marlins' primary first baseman before straining his oblique prior to Opening Day, but Norby has been handling those duties through the first four weeks of the season and has produced a .738 OPS. Pauley, meanwhile, has struggled to a .492 OPS and has struck out at a 27.3 percent clip over 55 plate appearances.

Marlins' Graham Pauley: Good to go Sunday
Pauley (oblique) is starting at third base and batting ninth Sunday against the Brewers.
The 25-year-old picked up a minor oblique injury Friday versus Milwaukee and was held out of Saturday's contest, but he'll return to the lineup Sunday for the series finale. Pauley has yet to get on track at the plate this season with no homers, a 1:13 BB:K and .174/.191/.304 slash line through 68 plate appearances.

Marlins' Graham Pauley: Sitting out Saturday
Pauley (oblique) isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Brewers.
Oblique discomfort forced Pauley to make an early exit Friday and will officially keep him out of Saturday's contest as well. However, he said he was feeling better before the game and has taken swings, per Christina De Nicola of MLB.com, so he may be able to avoid a trip to the injured list. In the meantime, Javier Sanoja will start at the hot corner for Miami.

Marlins' Graham Pauley: Exits early Friday
Pauley was removed from Friday's game against the Brewers with oblique discomfort, Craig Mish of FanDuel Sports Network Florida reports.
Pauley took a pitch high and tight in the seventh inning, and although it didn't hit him, he tweaked his oblique while moving out of the way of the ball. The severity of his injury remains unknown, but if Pauley ends up having to miss time, Javier Sanoja would be an option to start at third base for Miami.

Marlins' Graham Pauley: Sitting against Skubal
Pauley is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Tigers.
Pauley had started the Marlins' last four games, but he'll take a seat against Tarik Skubal. He'll be joined on the bench by fellow left-handed hitters Owen Caissie and Liam Hicks.

Marlins' Graham Pauley: Idle against lefty again
Pauley is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Reds.
The Marlins are facing off against a third straight left-handed starting pitcher (Brandon Williamson), so the left-handed-hitting Pauley will once again cede third base to Javier Sanoja. Despite being out of the lineup for Sunday's series finale against the Yankees, Pauley was able to come up big off the bench, delivering a two-run double in the eighth inning to give the Marlins the lead in their eventual 7-6 win.

Marlins' Graham Pauley: Two doubles in Wednesday's rout
Pauley went 2-for-4 with two doubles and a run scored in Wednesday's win over the White Sox.
The 25-year-old played his part in a 10-0 rout, collecting his first extra-base hits of the season. With Christopher Morel (oblique) and Kyle Stowers (hamstring) on the shelf and Griffin Conine (illness) unavailable as well Wednesday, Pauley got the start at first base while Connor Norby was the DH and Javier Sanoja handled the hot corner. As Pauley puts his spring forearm injury further behind him and gets back up to speed, however, he could emerge as the Marlins' preferred option at third base against right-handed pitching. Through five games to begin the season, he's gone 3-for-13 with a run scored, an RBI and a 0:5 BB:K.

Marlins' Graham Pauley: Sitting against lefty
Pauley is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rockies.
Pauley has hit the bench for two of the Marlins' first three games, with both of his absences coming against southpaws. The 25-year-old could eventually find himself in a platoon at third base with Connor Norby, but the Marlins should have plenty of playing time available for both players while Christopher Morel (oblique) and Kyle Stowers (hamstring) are on the shelf.
