Mariners' Cal Raleigh: Homers again Tuesday
Raleigh went 1-for-2 with a solo home run and two walks in Tuesday's 4-1 win over the Phillies.
Raleigh got the Mariners on the board in the second inning, tying the game 1-1 with a 362-foot shot off Aaron Nola, his 18th homer of the season and fourth in his last two games. Raleigh looks to finally be heating up down the stretch in what's been a brutal campaign overall -- he's batting .348 (8-for-23) with six homers while striking out just five times in his last nine contests. Through 412 plate appearances this year, Raleigh is still slashing just .169/.286/.346 with 52 RBI and 32 runs scored.

Mariners' Cal Raleigh: Emerges with three-homer performance
Raleigh went 3-for-3 with three home runs, a walk and four total RBI in a 9-2 victory over Philadelphia on Monday.
It's been a miserable season for last year's runner-up in AL MVP voting, but for one game at least, he looked like the Big Dumper of old. Raleigh connected for a two-run homer in the first inning and added a solo shot in each of the fifth and seventh frames. It was the first three-homer game of Raleigh's career and his first multi-homer effort this season. Raleigh is still stuck on an ugly .167/.282/.336 slash line overall, and his 17 long balls leave him far off the pace of reaching 30 homers for a fourth straight campaign. However, he still has a chance to make an impact down the stretch with Seattle currently three games out of a wild-card spot.

Mariners' Cal Raleigh: Big blast in win
Raleigh went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run in Friday's 6-5 extra-inning win over the Cubs.
Raleigh has three homers over 17 games in August, but the downside comes from those accounting for half of his hits this month. He's batting just .115 (6-for-52) in that span, dropping his average on the year to .157 through 95 contests. He's added 14 homers, 47 RBI, 28 runs scored, eight doubles and two stolen bases.

Raleigh took advantage of Daikin Park's hitter-friendly dimensions by lifting a 327-foot solo homer into the left-field Crawford Boxes in the sixth inning. It marked the catcher's second homer of August, a month in which he's slashing just .114/.250/.250 through 13 contests. It's been a deeply disappointing 2026 for the 29-year-old, as Raleigh has mustered just a .158/.268/.300 slash line with 13 homers, 44 RBI, 27 runs and two stolen bases across 91 games after launching 60 long balls during the 2025 regular season.

Raleigh went 1-for-5 with a three-run home run in Sunday's 7-6 win over the Twins.
Raleigh crushed an elevated slider for a three-run homer to give the Mariners a 6-0 lead in the seventh inning. He has recorded at least one RBI in four straight games but has still struggled to find a rhythm at the plate, having not logged a multi-hit effort since June 7. Overall, the catcher is hitting .162/.266/.311 with 12 homers, 43 RBI, 26 runs and two stolen bases across 80 games.

Raleigh put a big bow on the Mariners' seventh-inning rally, and he knocked in another run in the eighth. The catcher had come out of the All-Star break cold, going 0-for-10 during the Mariners' three-game series versus the Giants over the weekend. Raleigh went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run in Saturday's 11-0 win over the Blue Jays.
Raleigh smacked a three-run shot in the bottom of the sixth inning to put the Mariners in double digits. It was the 29-year-old's first hit in three July contests, and he's now batting just .161 with two homers and nine RBI in 17 games since returning from the injured list June 16. On the year, he has a lowly .573 OPS with nine homers, 27 RBI, 22 runs scored and two steals across 250 plate appearances.
