  • White Sox's Dominic Fletcher: Back in regular role

Fletcher went 2-for-4 with a double Monday against the Giants. Fletcher lost playing time to Corey Julks in early August, but he's now started five straight games in right field. • White Sox's Dominic Fletcher: Idle against LHP

Fletcher is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Athletics. The lefty-hitting Fletcher will dodge a matchup with southpaw JP Sears, yielding to Corey Julks in right field. • White Sox's Dominic Fletcher: Taking on regular role in outfield

Fletcher is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Twins. Fletcher had started each of the White Sox's last four games in the outfield, going 3-for-11 with a walk, a run scored and an RBI over that stretch. Though he'll be on the bench for the series finale, the lefty-hitting Fletcher looks like he'll be given the opportunity to play regularly against right-handed pitching after the White Sox shipped Tommy Pham to the Cardinals prior to the trade deadline.

  • White Sox's Dominic Fletcher: Rejoins major-league club

The White Sox recalled Fletcher from Triple-A Charlotte on Monday. Fletcher is absorbing the roster spot vacated by Tommy Pham, who was traded to the Cardinals earlier Tuesday. • White Sox's Dominic Fletcher: Moves rehab assignment to Triple-A

Fletcher (shoulder) had his rehab assignment transferred to Triple-A Charlotte on Thursday and went 2-for-7 with a solo home run and a walk in his first two rehab games with the club. Fletcher had previously played in two rehab games in the rookie-level Arizona Complex League before reporting to Charlotte. The outfielder has been on the shelf since June 4 with a left shoulder strain and shouldn't require a lengthy rehab assignment, but the White Sox could nonetheless choose to keep him with Charlotte throughout the week since the team might not have a spot available for him on the big-league roster. Andrew Benintendi, Luis Robert and Tommy Pham are the White Sox's regular starters in the outfield, with Corey Julks and Gavin Sheets available as depth options behind them.

  • White Sox's Dominic Fletcher: Beginning rehab assignment

Fletcher (shoulder) has been sent to the White Sox' Arizona Complex League affiliate to begin a rehab assignment, James Fegan of SoxMachine.com reports. Fletcher has missed most of this month after suffering a left shoulder strain, but he's been cleared to test things out in a game setting. The 26-year-old figures to eventually move up to a higher affiliate to continue his rehab, but it isn't necessarily a given he'll rejoin the major-league roster once activated from the 10-day injured list.

The White Sox placed Fletcher on the 10-day injured list Tuesday, retroactive to June 3, with a left shoulder strain. Fletcher sustained the injury during Sunday's game in Milwaukee while he robbed a potential home run at the outfield wall. It's unclear how long he might be out.

  • White Sox's Dominic Fletcher: Back with big club

The White Sox recalled Fletcher from Triple-A Charlotte on Wednesday. Fletcher was sent down to the minors late last month after hitting just .203/.277/.271 with a 20:4 K:BB over 66 plate appearances with Chicago. He will get another look with the big club after slashing .238/.319/.405 with one home run in 11 contests with Charlotte. Gavin Sheets has just a .516 OPS in May, so Fletcher could end up emerging as a regular in right field.

  • White Sox's Dominic Fletcher: On bench for season opener

Fletcher is out of the lineup for Thursday's season opener versus the Tigers. The lefty-hitting Fletcher should be in good position to play regularly in the corner outfield against right-handed pitching this season, but he finds himself on the bench for the opener with southpaw Tarik Skubal taking the hill for Detroit. The righty-hitting Kevin Pillar will step in for Fletcher in right field.

  • Diamondbacks' Dominic Fletcher: Fills in for Carroll

Fletcher started in left field and went 1-for-4 in Friday's 6-2 win over the Angels. Fletcher, who was recalled from Triple-A Reno on Friday, filled in for the injured Corbin Carroll, who suffered a shoulder injury and was removed from Thursday's game. Fletcher was up with the Diamondbacks earlier this season after the team demoted Alek Thomas and was initially quite productive. He had a 1.231 OPS through the first two weeks before tailing off (.427 OPS) over the subsequent two weeks. Arizona also recalled outfielder Kyle Lewis from Reno on Friday, so the outfield will be a crowded place once Carroll is ready.

  • Diamondbacks' Dominic Fletcher: Called up Friday

Fletcher was called up from Triple-A Reno on Friday, Robert Murray of FanSided.com reports. Fletcher will return to the major-league roster after being sent down in late May and batting .328 with two doubles, a triple, seven RBI, 14 runs and a stolen base over 13 Triple-A games since his demotion. He's compiled a .308/.349/.474 slash line with eight extra-base hits, including two homers, over 85 plate appearances with Arizona in 2023, but Fletcher had been in a 6-for-39 (.154) slump when sent back down. The 24-year-old will face off with his brother David Fletcher and the Angels upon his return to the big leagues Friday.

  • Diamondbacks' Dominic Fletcher: Replaces optioned Thomas

Fletcher started in center field and went 1-for-3 with a walk, a double and a run scored in Wednesday's 5-3 win over the Athletics. Fletcher was prominent on both ends. After nailing Tony Kemp at home plate in the seventh inning to preserve a 3-3 tie, he scored Arizona's final run as part of a two-run ninth inning. Fletcher moved into the center field spot that was once held by Alek Thomas, whom the Diamondbacks optioned to Triple-A Reno on Wednesday. The former had usurped at-bats from Thomas since being called up at the end of April and now will become the primary center fielder.
