Nationals' Jeremy De La Rosa: Out with shoulder injury
De La Rosa will open the year on the injured list due to a shoulder injury, Sam Dykstra of MLB.com reports.

Nationals' Jeremy De La Rosa: Outrighted to Triple-A
De La Rosa cleared waivers Friday and was sent outright to Triple-A Rochester, Mark Zuckerman of MASNSports.com reports.

The 21-year-old outfield prospect slashed .240/.324/.361 with 42 RBI across 383 plate appearances with Wilmington this season and no longer holds a spot on the 40-man roster.

De La Rosa was added to the Nationals' 40-man roster Tuesday.
The 20-year-old outfielder has yet to play beyond the High-A level in his young career. However, De La Roza slashed .315/.394/.505 in Single-A Fredericksburg, which is all the Nationals need to feel comfortable stashing him on their 40-man roster as he works up their farm system.
