Millsap announced his retirement from basketball Tuesday, ESPN's Shams Charania reports.
The No. 47 overall pick in the 2006 NBA Draft, Millsap had quite a decorated career. He spent time with the Jazz, Hawks, Nuggets, Nets and 76ers, becoming one of eight players all time with 500 three-pointers, 1,000 blocks and 1,000 steals. He'll finish his NBA career with averages of 13.4 points, 7.1 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.2 steals.
Millsap (illness) is not on the injury report for Saturday's Game 1 against the Raptors.
As expected, Millsap will be available after missing the final game of the regular season. However, he hasn't played since March 29, and he's essentially out of the rotation.

With Joel Embiid returning to the lineup after a one-game absence, Millsap will shift back to a reserve role. The veteran is averaging 3.6 points and 3.6 rebounds in 11.4 minutes per game this season.
Millsap will start Monday's game against the Heat.

The veteran is tending to a personal matter and will not be available as the Sixers begin a three-game week. His next chance to play will come Thursday against the Nets.
Millsap closed Wednesday's 123-108 victory over the Knicks with two rebounds and one block across 12 minutes.
Millsap, while featuring in the rotation on a regular basis, continues to be a nonfactor when it comes to fantasy value. He has now played five games for his new team, averaging just 4.4 points, 2.8 rebounds and 0.6 assists in just over 10 minutes per game. While we do have fond memories of his time in Atlanta and to a lesser extent, Denver, Millsap is simply now an afterthought when it comes to fantasy basketball.
