Embiid ended with 13 points (4-15 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 3-4 FT), 11 rebounds, six assists, three blocks and two steals in 33 minutes during Tuesday's 106-100 win over the Knicks.
Embiid tied for fourth place in scoring for the 76ers on Tuesday, but he did lead the team in rebounding while sacrificing some usage to accommodate for the arrivals of LeBron James and Jaylen Brown. The star big man endured a start-stop 2025-26 campaign due to various injuries, and Embiid is looking to play at least 60 regular-season games this year for the first time since 2022-23.

Embiid finished with 27 points (7-13 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 11-13 FT), eight rebounds, five assists, one steal and one block over 29 minutes in Friday's 125-120 preseason overtime loss to Boston.
Embiid didn't play when these two clubs met Saturday but was on the floor for the rematch. He had four turnovers, though he was still the most productive starter overall for Philadelphia on Friday night. The 2023 MVP finished the 2025-26 campaign by averaging 26.9 points, 7.7 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 1.2 steals across 31.6 minutes per contest. However, he was limited to 38 regular-season games. Embiid should still be considered one of the top players in the NBA, but his health will be a significant concern for the rest of his career.
Embiid (rest) will play in Friday's preseason finale against Boston, Gary Washburn of The Boston Globe reports.
Embiid was held out of Saturday's game against Boston for maintenance and there is no injury to report. He will get some final reps Friday ahead of Opening Night.

After sitting out the first preseason game, Embiid made his first appearance for the new-look 76ers, turning in an indifferent performance. Although he managed to chip in across the board, he struggled from the field and was careless with the ball, racking up a team-high eight turnovers. It was certainly encouraging to see him suiting up for a preseason game, indicating that he should be ready to go for opening night.

Embiid (rest) is set to play in Thursday's preseason game against the Nets, per ESPN.com.
The 76ers are planning to have their entire Opening Night starting lineup available Thursday. Embiid, who sat out the preseason opener, should get some run in the first half while Philadelphia gets its first look at its new-look roster.
