Knicks' Ariel Hukporti: Increased role Sunday
Hukporti closed Sunday's 144-114 victory over the 76ers in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals with five points (1-4 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 3-6 FT), four rebounds and one assist over 16 minutes.
Hukporti logged double-digit minutes for just the third time this postseason, taking advantage of the fact that the game was done and dusted early. Although his role is likely to remain very limited, it is worth noting that opposing teams have started to go in the direction of intentionally fouling Mitchell Robinson. Should this continue, Hukporti could be called upon in specific situations, given that he is at least somewhat reliable from the free-throw line.

Knicks' Ariel Hukporti: Pulls down nine boards off bench
Hukporti supplied five points (2-2 FG, 1-1 FT), nine rebounds and two blocks in 17 minutes during Monday's 137-98 victory over the 76ers in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals.
Karl-Anthony Towns and Mitchell Robinson got into foul trouble in the first half, allowing Hukporti to see his most playing time of the postseason in a lopsided win. Hukporti has appeared in just four of New York's past seven contests, averaging 2.0 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.3 blocks in 9.3 minutes per game in the 2026 playoffs.

Knicks' Ariel Hukporti: Headed to bench
Hukporti will come off the bench for Saturday's Game 1 against the Hawks, Kevin Chouinard of the Hawks' official site reports.
Karl-Anthony Towns (elbow) and Mitchell Robinson (ankle) skipped the Knicks' regular-season finale, but both those guys will be back in action Saturday, which could make it tough for Hukporti to get into the rotation. As a reserve this season, Hukporti has averaged 1.9 points and 2.5 rebounds in 7.8 minutes per game.

Knicks' Ariel Hukporti: Starting Sunday
Hukporti will start Sunday's game against the Hornets.
Karl-Anthony Towns (elbow) and Mitchell Robinson (ankle) will sit out New York's regular-season finale, opening the door for Hukporti to step into the starting five for the first time since Jan. 2. As a starter this season (four games), the second-year center has averaged 3.5 points, 7.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.8 blocks across 20.8 minutes per contest.

Knicks' Ariel Hukporti: Modest showing versus Toronto
Hukporti finished with eight points (4-4 FG), four rebounds and one assist across 13 minutes during Friday's 112-95 victory over the Raptors.
Hukporti didn't play in New York's' previous two contests heading into Friday night. While the 23-year-old narrowly missed his first double-digit scoring effort since the 132-101 win over the Wizards, it was still an above-average showing. With the Knicks locked into the No. 3 seed in the Eastern Conference, Hukporti might see extended action in Sunday's meeting with the Hornets. However, he likely won't see the floor much (if at all) throughout the postseason, barring injuries to Mitchell Robinson or Karl-Anthony Towns.

The Knicks recalled Hukporti from the G League's Westchester Knicks on Saturday.
Hukporti will be available for Sunday's game in Oklahoma City but isn't expected to be featured in the rotation. The second-year center suited up in Westchester's season finale Saturday, recording 32 points (13-23 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 1-2 FT), 10 rebounds, five blocks, one assist and one steal across 38 minutes in a 123-121 win over the Windy City Bulls.

Knicks' Ariel Hukporti: Rejoins parent club
The Knicks recalled Hukporti from the G League's Westchester Knicks on Thursday.
As expected, Hukporti will rejoin the Knicks ahead of their next game Thursday in Charlotte after a brief stint in the G League. The second-year big man suited up for Westchester in Tuesday's 114-104 win over the Long Island Nets, finishing with 32 points (13-23 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 3-5 FT), 10 rebounds, five assists, four blocks and one steal in 37 minutes.

Knicks' Ariel Hukporti: Returns from G League
The Knicks recalled Hukporti from the G League's Westchester Knicks on Sunday.
Hukporti will be available for Sunday's game against the Wizards after suiting up for Westchester earlier in the day. He played 16 minutes in Westchester's 141-131 win over the Greensboro Swarm, finishing with 10 points (4-8 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 1-1 FT), five rebounds and one block.

Knicks' Ariel Hukporti: Recalled to NBA
New York recalled Hukporti from the G League's Westchester Knicks on Saturday.
Hukporti is back with the parent team after recording 12 points, four rebounds, three assists and two blocks over 25 minutes Saturday in the G League Westchester Knicks' loss to the Noblesville Boom. The second-year center is unlikely to see meaningful action Sunday against the Warriors now that Karl-Anthony Towns has recovered from a knee issue.

Knicks' Ariel Hukporti: Decent numbers in increased role
Hukporti totaled seven points (3-4 FG, 1-1 FT), five rebounds, one assist and one block in 21 minutes during Tuesday's 137-134 overtime loss to the Pacers.
Hukporti served as the primary backup behind Karl-Anthony Towns, replacing Mitchell Robinson, who was ruled out as part of his injury management. Hukporti wasn't prolific, but he shot the ball well and racked up five boards along with a swat in just 21 minutes. However, there is no reason to chase him in fantasy outside of very deep formats.

Knicks' Ariel Hukporti: Flirts with double-double off bench
Hukporti closed with 12 points (5-6 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 1-1 FT), nine rebounds, one assist and two blocks in 22 minutes during Tuesday's 132-101 win over the Wizards.
With Mitchell Robinson (ankle) sitting out and Tuesday's contest getting out of hand early, Hukporti got a chance to shine off the bench as the No. 2 center option behind Karl-Anthony Towns. However, it was the first time that Hukporti logged at least 20 minutes since a Jan. 2 spot start versus the Hawks, and the second-year big man could fall out of the rotation altogether with Robinson expected back Wednesday against Denver.

Knicks' Ariel Hukporti: Recalled by New York
Hukporti was recalled by the Knicks on Friday.
Hukporti had a brief stint with the Westchester Knicks in the G League but has already returned to the NBA roster. The big man is averaging 1.6 points and 2.8 boards per game in 29 regular-season appearances for the Knicks in 2025-26.

Knicks' Ariel Hukporti: Gets garbage-time run in blowout
Hukporti recorded two points (1-2 FG), five rebounds and one block in 11 minutes Wednesday in the Knicks' 120-66 win over the Nets.
Recalled from the G League's Westchester Knicks prior to Wednesday's contest, Hukporti was outside of head coach Mike Brown's rotation but took the floor for all but one minute of the fourth quarter after New York had built a 32-point lead heading into the final period. Since playing time at the NBA level has been relatively scarce of late for the second-year center, he could rejoin Westchester ahead of Friday's home game against the Windy City Bulls to pick up some extended minutes.

Knicks' Ariel Hukporti: Available Wednesday
Hukporti (quadriceps) is available to play in Wednesday's game against the Kings.
Hukporti will shed a questionable tag related to a right quadriceps strain and be available Wednesday for the Knicks. He remains a fringe rotation piece, though, and isn't guaranteed to see the floor versus the Kings.

Knicks' Ariel Hukporti: Iffy for Wednesday
Hukporti is questionable for Wednesday against the Kings with a right quadriceps strain.
Hukporti is not typically a rotation player for the Knicks when the team is close to full strength, so this news is unlikely to have a big fantasy impact.

Knicks' Ariel Hukporti: Not starting vs. Philadelphia
Hukporti won't start against the 76ers on Saturday.
With Karl-Anthony Towns (illness) and Mitchell Robinson (ankle) both available and starting, Hukporti will slide to the second unit. The second-year center has averaged 1.5 points and 2.4 rebounds in 8.3 minutes per game across 17 appearances off the bench this season.

Knicks' Ariel Hukporti: Grabs 16 boards in defeat
Hukporti chipped in eight points (2-4 FG, 4-4 FT), 16 rebounds, four assists, four blocks and one steal over 28 minutes during Friday's 111-99 loss to the Hawks.
With Karl-Anthony Towns (illness) and Mitchell Robinson (ankle) sidelined for the front end of New York's back-to-back set, Hukporti got the starting nod for the fourth time this season. The second-year center made the most of the opportunity, grabbing a game- and career-high 16 rebounds. He also set a new season-best mark in blocks, matching his career high. Hukporti doesn't offer much fantasy value but could be a viable streaming option whenever Towns and Mitchell are both unavailable.
