Pistons' Paul Reed: Garbage time special
Reed notched one block in two minutes during Saturday's 112-86 win over the Hornets.
Reed was in the rotation for the fourth time in the past five games, albeit during garbage time only. With Jalen Duren and Isaiah Stewart carrying the center load, Reed is merely a depth option at this point, called upon when others are injured. In 21 appearances, he has averaged just 6.1 points and 4.1 rebounds in 10.9 minutes per game.

Pistons' Ausar Thompson: Elite two-way performance
Thompson finished with 14 points (5-8 FG, 4-6 FT), four rebounds, two assists, four blocks and three steals across 26 minutes during Saturday's 112-86 win over Charlotte.
Thompson has arguably his best two-way performance of the season, recording a season-high seven combined steals and blocks. Despite a consistent starting role, Thompson's playing time has been a source of frustration for fantasy managers. While this issue doesn't seem to be going away any time soon, a performance like this is at least a step in the right direction. Look for him to try to build on this effort when the Pistons face the Trail Blazers on Monday.

Pistons' Marcus Sasser: Muted role continues
Sasser ended Saturday's 112-86 win over the Hornets with one rebound and one assist across two minutes.
Sasser failed to score for the third time in four games since returning from injury, continuing to serve as nothing more than a speth piece for the Pistons. Even when playing a meaningful role, Sasser has yet to flash any real upside, meaning his value for this season is likely to be non-existent.

Pistons' Cade Cunningham: Triple-doubles in easy win
Cunningham amassed 22 points (9-20 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 3-4 FT), 10 rebounds, 10 assists and two steals across 36 minutes during Saturday's 112-86 victory over the Hornets.
This was the third triple-double of the season for Cunningham and the 14th of his career. The 24-year-old is hitting career highs in points (27.0), dimes (9.2) and rebounds (6.4) this season, and he ranks inside the top 15 in eight-category leagues.

Pistons' Duncan Robinson: Officially cleared
Robinson (hip) will play in Saturday's game against the Hornets.
Robinson's availability doesn't come as much of a surprise, as the 31-year-old wing was previously considered probable due to a left hip issue. In 25 appearances this season, Robinson is averaging 11.9 points and 2.8 3PM across 30.4 minutes.

Pistons' Caris LeVert: Good to go Saturday
LeVert (knee) is good to go for Saturday's game against the Hornets.
Levert was upgraded to probable Saturday morning, so this isn't a surprise. Since the beginning of December, LeVert has put together averages of 8.9 points, 3.1 assists, 1.9 rebounds and 1.4 threes over 22.1 minutes per game.

Pistons' Caris LeVert: Trending toward playing Saturday
LeVert (knee) has been upgraded to probable for Saturday's game against the Hornets.
LeVert was initially listed as questionable for Saturday's game due to right knee soreness, but the veteran swingman appears to be on track to be available. In seven games since Dec. 1, he has averaged 8.9 points, 3.1 assists, 1.9 rebounds and 1.4 threes over 22.1 minutes per game.

Pistons' Caris LeVert: Questionable against Hornets
LeVert is questionable for Saturday's game against Charlotte with right knee soreness.
The veteran swingman's status could be determined following Saturday's pregame warmups. If the Pistons decide not to clear LeVert for action, more playing time would become available to Javonte Green and Ronald Holland.

Pistons' Duncan Robinson: Probable for Saturday
Robinson is probable for Saturday's game against Charlotte with a left hip contusion.
After leaving Thursday's loss to Dallas, Robinson has since been diagnosed with the hip injury but remains on track to play Saturday. Over his last nine games, the sharpshooter has averaged 10.2 points, 3.1 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 2.2 three-pointers in 27.6 minutes per contest.

Pistons' Jalen Duren: Dominant with double-double
Duren closed with 17 points (8-20 FG, 1-2 FT), 13 rebounds, one assist and two steals over 34 minutes during Thursday's 116-114 overtime loss to Dallas.
Duren recorded his 14th double-double of the campaign as he continues to have a breakout season in Detroit. Through 24 games, he's averaging 18.0 points, 11.0 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 0.9 steals and 1.0 blocks in 29.2 minutes per contest.

Pistons' Isaiah Stewart: Another strong showing
Stewart closed with 14 points (5-10 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 3-4 FT), seven rebounds, one assist, two blocks and two steals over 31 minutes during Thursday's 116-114 overtime loss to Dallas.
With Tobias Harris posting a scoreless dud in 18 minutes of action, Stewart closed this game out for Detroit and saw extended run alongside Jalen Duren. That may be a trend that continues, and it's worth mentioning that Harris' expiring contract could potentially be moved ahead of the trade deadline.

Pistons' Tobias Harris: Scoreless in 18 minutes
Harris registered zero points (0-5 FG, 0-2 3Pt), four rebounds and three assists over 18 minutes during Thursday's 116-114 overtime loss to the Mavericks.
For the first time this season, Harris was held without a point. He's trending in the wrong direction for Detroit, posting averages of 10.2 points, 5.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists on 31.7 percent shooting over his last six outings. With a large expiring contract, Harris has been the subject of many trade rumors.

Pistons' Ronald Holland: Fares well in limited run
Holland recorded 12 points (5-11 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 2-3 FT) and seven rebounds across 20 minutes during Thursday's 116-114 overtime loss to the Mavericks.
Holland's minutes have been pretty low in recent games, but it's worth mentioning that Duncan Robinson left this game with a knee issue and could potentially miss some time. Holland is making the most of his limited minutes this season and is averaging 10.8 points, 4.8 rebounds and 0.6 steals in 19.5 minutes over his last five outings.

Pistons' Cade Cunningham: Double-doubles with nine dimes
Cunningham recorded 29 points (12-30 FG, 2-9 3Pt, 3-4 FT), 10 rebounds, nine assists and one block over 45 minutes during Thursday's 116-114 overtime loss to the Mavs.
Despite Cunningham's game-high 29 points, the Pistons weren't able to earn a victory, and they dropped their sixth game of the season. As a team, the Pistons struggled to convert their shots, with Detroit finishing 47-for-122 from the floor and 6-for-33 from distance in the two-point loss. They'll look to get things back on track Saturday with a favorable matchup against the Hornets.
